We bought a 2016 Civic and a 2015 CR-V three weeks ago. A tire sensor on the CR-V started giving us the low light since the following morning after purchase. All they ever did was pump up the tires, reset the low light and send us on our way (x2). I told them that it was rediculous that the sensors kept going off. Today, 180 miles from home, it goes off again! Here is the reason for the 3 stars, this dealership actually checked the tires and found a nail in it. If they would've just fixed it from the begining, I would've given 5 stars because the guy was very helpful. But, he just said, "it is not covered and if we fix it, it would cost a lot of money". I told him it was ridiculous since it was obvious that the nail was there since we bought the car. He did guide me to America's tire a few miles away. I explained the cituation and they are hooking me up free of charge. Thank you America's Tire for helping me out. Five stars for them. read more

Just got reminded of the long ass wait for an oil change WITH an appointment. Appt was at 9am...brought car at 850am...its 1045am and still no car...going on 2 hours...I even told them not to wash it...Last time I service my Honda at this Honda dealership...1. Open hood and visually check all fluids...100% of the time on a new car like mine all fluids should be good...2. Raise car and remove oil pan bolt and drain oil...while oil being drained remove oil filter...3. Tighten bolt and install new oil filter. 4. Lower car and add oil...I have a K & N air filter which SHOULDN'T BE MESSED WITH AS I HAVE A DECAL SAYING I HAVE A K & N AIR FILTER...I DONT NEED U TO CHECK ME... 5. Turn on car and check tranny fluid level...6. Turn off car and check oil level and add if needed which they probably have an automatic oil pump that should pump exact amount according to my engine liter size... If you follow the same procedures above you should be done with your oil change. They add a bullshit multi point inspection that is just by looking at stuff but since my car is a 2014...all this should be good. I should start changing my own oil and save $$$ but instead I do my part in giving back to the economy... Don't get your cars serviced here...You've been warned... read more

Horrible customer service. Waited around to be helped while my sales person was visibly chit chatting with his coworkers and once I did get help the finance dept person was condescending towards me and poked fun in a disrespectful way at my credit score. I could go on and on but do yourselves a favor and drive a few more miles to San Diego, Yuma, or anywhere else that isn't this place; your time and money will be wasted. read more

Tried to make an appointment for oil change by phone. Nobody at the service department to take my call. Redirected my call to voice mail so I left a message and was never called back. Worst customer service ever. I will be taking my business to Yuma Honda instead. read more

I was finally able to speak to someone with some authority after leaving some angry voicemails. Ivan gave me a call and asked about my concerns, namely the three optional charges I did not agree to. He made sure to get all of the information for this matter before giving me a definitive rundown of what the next steps would be. He was able to cancel the nearly $6k optional charges for me. I was advised that this would take about 30-40 days, and while I am not happy with the fact that we will be paying more in interest than we would've had things gone down the right way, I'm glad the charges will be applied to the loan as soon as possible. I'd like to thank Ivan again for following up and for making sure to keep me updated on this matter. The two individuals that made this experience more frustrating than it should have were given disciplinary action so it is my hope that no one else has to go through the mess I did. read more

Went in to compare the Honda CR-V. The guy was more interested in telling my husband and I that we probably couldn't afford the model we were inquiring about. He wanted to discuss pricing. All I wanted to know what features the car had. Anytime I asked if it had a feature he would say something like well that car cost 35,000 so I don't think you want that. Horrible customer service. All they care about is their sale. When i decided to buy out my lease they clearly said "Can we drive up to San Diego today so you can sign your new contract we are desperate for sales and this would help us out a lot" First of all , you being low on sales is not my concern. Second, im not going to cancel work meetings so you could get your sale. We booked an appointment to get paperwork signed one morning everything was good to go. Finally the desperate calls stopped. I requested a copy of my contract and current tags and until this day its been over a month, I have spoken to two financial leads, over 15 texts, and several other calls to simply get a copy of my contract. Miguel was helpful at first until he finally got the sale he needed. Lorraine super rude over the phone and seemed bothered for me being upset. If the staff had better communication skills and informed me i wont be getting tags until 90 days i wouldnt be concerned. If i had a copy of my contract i could simply had figured out a few things out on my own. Also, i was told first payment would be in 60 days and i have received a statement that is due in two days. They promise you one thing and paperwork says another and or they get too busy too get back to you at a timely manner. Very unprofessional. read more

I agree with the other review. I almost purchased a Hyundai here...I made an offer after hearing their spiel about buying local. I made a reasonable offer, never heard back from them... When I went in for the test drive, I was the only person in the brand new show room. It seems like they aren't used to closing sales or having interested or serious buyers. The same car I was looking at was 1,500 cheaper in San Diego than here. When I told them this, they wanted that quote, written. I explained that dealers don't do that, why would they make it easier for their potential custoemr to go elsewhere? But all dealers know what their invoice cost is...and Valley Direct is just there to sell to either gullible or low information shoppers who don't want to drive an hour to San Diego to save money. And that's fine. This place certainly is convenient...but other than that, it's overpriced big time. read more

There is no rating for the service I received here. Bought used car that needed new tires and brakes. Was probably never inspected. Bought new tires which were never installed, alignment wasn't completed either. When I brought it to the GM attention, I was basically called a liar. I was forced to prove I had old tires still on car. Tires were found in the warehouse! Yes!! Tires were 2 years old. Got ripples immediately or already had them. No apology from GM. Worst experience I HAVE EVER HAD !! And I am a female with an older SUV- Jeep. I have never had fraud of this magnitude ever. I am seriously considering a class action lawsuit. It would be interesting to see how many other people have had similar situations. Would love to speak with former employees as well. I wasn't going to post but it would be really sad if others had to go thru what I did. Use caution, double check any and all work done on your car if you must go there. Gm felt the need to blame me because I didnt check, double check work that was supposed to be done. Bringing it to their attention was insufficient. Go figure. read more

If this could be zero stars, it would be. Imperial Valley Honda uses deceptive advertising. I drove 168 miles to this dealership after seeing the car I was looking for advertised online for a great price. It was far, but I decided it was worth it if the car was what i was looking for. It was, and I agreed to buy it. They told me it needed to have the hose for the a/c changed, but the sales manager Miguel Gomez shook my hand and said he would have it ready the next day. He said I should leave a deposit ($1000) and he photocopied my check with the stock number written on it and the keys. The next day, the salesman called and said it wouldn't be ready that day. I had told them I would be out of state for five days after that and would have to pick up the car when I returned. I texted and left voicemails inquiring about the car prior to driving out there to get it, and nobody returned my calls or texts. I had a bad feeling, and looked up the dealerships website. The car I was buying was now being advertised at a much higher price. I called repeatedly until I spoke to someone who told me the car had actually already been sold and that the Miguel Gomez who shook my hand wasn't in until the next day. I left him a message to call me, but of course that did not happen. When I called, he explained that it wasn't just the hose for the a/c, that the whole compressor needed to be changed, and the extra cost made him unable to sell it at the price they advertised it at. I realize they made a mistake by advertising the car at a certain price and then agreeing to sell it at that price, but that was their mistake. He tried to spin it that he was doing me a favor by not selling me a car that needed work rather than taking responsibility for advertising a car and making a deal at a price that he wished was higher. I had other cars i was comparing before driving literally all day up and back and choosing this car, but their deceptive advertising caused me to choose their car and forgo other opportunities. Miguel said he couldn't replace the chipped windshield and split the cost with me, because once he advertises a car at a certain price, he has to sell it at that price and he cannot raise the price. I guess he changed his mind. I feel like I fell for the "low price on the internet" scam, and I trusted someone with zero integrity. What a bad image Imperial Valley HONDA is portraying. read more

Had a bit of an issue with my moms pilot. We set up an appointment with Ricardo, who did a a great job seeing us the same day and took extra care and time listening to the rather peculiar problem we were having. He read back to us what we had said and made sure exactly what it was we needed. He called us to tell us that part was covered under warranty but the other wasn't. No big deal it makes sense break rotors are normal wear tear. He mentioned that at this time she would need break pads. The not to distant future, he then suggested that we do it all at once to avoid being charged twice. I appreciated the honesty. After quoting us a price he said that he would try to get us a better price and said he would call back! True to his word I got a phone call with an updated price! The staff suck. The cars selection is great, but the prices that they ask for are RIDICULOUS! So instead of going here to get a 2016 Honda Accord EX, I went to Diamond Valley Honda in Hemet, CA! Just to give a comparison, Direct asked for $3000 down and $350 a month for a lease, but as for Diamond Valley, I got the car leased for $310 a month with only $800 down, which also included my first monthly payment, so in actuality, I only put about $500 down. read more

I bought a car there and they basically scammed me by having their finance guy confuse me during the contract review. They changed the terms, which ended up messing up my otherwise perfect credit, becuase I refused to play their game. I feel sorry for the many non-english speaking Mexicans who get taken advantage by these sharks. Go to San Diego and shop around. You'll get a much better deal and receive fair treatment. read more
