Five stars for the service alone! We decided to take my dad here to celebrate his birthday. The day was unfortunately gloomy and a bit chilly. We were initially seated in a covered outdoor area. However, when it started to rain our server, Abigail, came out with umbrellas to offer to seat us inside. She went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. She was patient and kept checking in on us, up to timing when to bring out the cake we brought for my dad. My husband and I ordered the prosciutto pizza and bolognese pasta to share. The pasta wasn't my favorite and not something I'd order again. BUT that pizza was top notch! I'd come back just for that! Of course they have lots of wine offerings as well, along with some pretty views. Can't wait to come back on a sunny day!

Last Friday, we decided to go to @incontradakitchen_winery for dinner. It was a 15-minute drive away, a vineyard within San Antonio. I had a glass of Barbera and Hubby had the Sauvignon Blanc. We shared the Wedge Salad, Baked Brie with French Bread, Margherita Pizza, and Penne Alla Vodka. Hubby and Dad shared the Chili. It was a lot of food and a good variety. Food was tasty, though heavy on the carbs. We didn't have reservations but it's likely recommended if you want to sit indoors.

Such a beautiful venue! My daughter made reservations for Mother's Day while l was visiting from CA and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the wine was devine. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the menu items. I would love to return upon my next visit to TX.

So beautiful and relaxing! They had live music playing an eclectic assortment of music that floated through country and pop songs reaching as far back as the 80's to present day. The service was phenomenal. Timing and execution was on par. Very relaxed and not too intrusive or so distant that you couldn't get service. The food! I wish I had more of an appetite because EVERYTHING looked and smelled delicious, but I could barely finish the burrata! I will absolutely be back again another time to try some of the pasta!

What a great spot just outside of the city! The vineyards when you first walk up are super pretty to walk through. The tables and seating between the vines were also lovely. I enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc as well as the frozen rosé which I didn't see on the menu so you'll have to ask. For food we tried the Linguine Limon pasta with shrimp which had a strong lemon taste and was great! The burrata bruschetta was unique tasting. The olive pesto was not as strong as I thought it may be, so definitely recommend. We also had the margarita pizza which was very good. We honestly loved everything we ordered, so we can't wait to come back!

Megan, thank you so much!! We appreciate your detailed service and recommendations on the food/wine selections! You're truly a gem!! We enjoyed the antipasto salad as our appetizer followed by the prosciutto pizza paired with the Super Tuscan wine. All outstanding choices. The salad was fresh and meat, cheese ratios were perfect and delicious. The pizza was cooked perfectly as well, crispy edges and plenty of cheese and prosciutto with fresh arugula ribbons on top. Nonna's custard torte was heaven!! A must try!! The custard was delicious, flavor top notch. The crust was perfect too. Save room and thank me later, lol. The restaurant itself is cozy (we were in the bar area) and there were several large parties going on. Looking forward to going back and trying more menu items.

This beautiful Winery nestled on a hillside off Smithson Vally Road is by far one of San Antonio's most hidden gems. A place to have an incredible wine and food found exclusively there. Tables placed underneath the canopy of the grape vines is breathtaking. They have the friendliest staff, very attentive and knowledgeable on the food and wine they sell. It's a must if you enjoy good wine and need a place to simply unwind...Enjoy!

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at In Contrada! We sat outside but in spite of the 97 degree temperature, we were very comfortable because of the outdoor fans. On top of this, we got to enjoy the music played by a young man who sang songs we could "sing along" to. This was my first time here. I joined my friends who are members of the wine club. They know the owner, Ed, who was nice enough to join us for a few minutes in spite of his busy schedule. Service was excellent! We were well attended to. We ordered bottles of wines along with some appetizers. They all came quickly and we were constantly checked on. The wines were good and the appetizers were delicious. I'd love to return to try their other wines and apps. This place is is quite chill. Who knows? I might consider becoming a member as well .

First time here for a birthday celebration. This vineyard is super cute! Very picturesque. We had the charcuterie, the burrata, the meatballs, and a coupled pizzas. All were delicious! I did expect the meatballs to be bigger though. They were tasty but for the price I was expecting a little bit more. The wine was also delicious! We had the cucumber white wine and a few different red blends. All were great. This place is off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive!

We just tried for the first time yesterday and we loved it! Unfortunately the weather wasn't good so didn't get to seated outside but still it was very nice! Food was delicious so as wine One of our fav places to go now!

Nice place out of the city. 281 North off of Smithson Valley road. Soon as drive up the vineyard is visible. You will sit under the vineyard and fig trees. The food was great and service. Had the Chefs board it was good. The wine was very tasty and fresh. Had the Zimpon sweet red, the ladies had the Rose'. Pizza was really good. Caprese sandwich good. All was great!

From the amazing chefs board to the house Tempranillo, to the sausage and pepperoni pizza, the food, the view and the experience were top notch. I highly recommend this place for date night, a night out, or unwinding with friends

Me sitting and enjoying my Sunday

Went here on a Sunday in May. First let me say the drive to this place is very enjoyable. They have lots of free parking. We did go on open table and made a reservation which I would recommend as they do get busy. So the options for seating are outside, where they do have several fans or inside where it is communal dining. So since we did not want to sit with strangers we decided to sit outside. YELP had a $5.00 off offer so when we got seated a showed it to our sever and unlocked the offer and we ordered 1 flight of wine. We told our server that we were going to share the one flight. The wine flight comes with a nice souvenir glass that you get to keep. The wine was nice and enjoyed. The restaurant vineyard is picturesque. This is a lovely spot to go with someone enjoy the wine and enjoy the view.

Everyone at the bar (patrons and staff) are very friendly and happy to chat. Additionally, there were quite a few loose dogs which made it even more fun... I love the pups!
