Love, love this place! Went for date night with my husband and had the best experience. The wine suggestions were spot-on, the charcuterie board was absolutely amazing, and the cozy little spot had such a great atmosphere. Perfect for a special night out. Highly recommend!

Wine 210 is a locally owned neighborhood wine bar in northwest San Antonio. Owners Khalilah and Chris Douglas created a hidden gem that fosters a sense of community and celebrates women winemakers, family-owned wineries, and minority-owned winemakers. In addition to wine, Wine 210 offers charcuterie items, desserts, wine flights, sangria, and margaritas. I was in San Antonio for a work conference. One of my colleagues, a fellow foodie, invited us to visit his friend's wine bar. Wine 210 has a warm, cozy vibe despite being in the midst of a seemingly common shopping center. There are a variety of seating options available, from a sleek bar to tables for group seating. The lighting and R&B music are perfect for talking with friends or making new ones. Customer service was solid. We also enjoyed talking with Kahlilah and another industry veteran about the oenophile journeys. We ordered: The Douglas (charcuterie) Board Red Pepper Hummus and Pita Bread White Sangria Red Sangria Sip Me Baby, One More Time (Red Bodied Wine Flight) I would not recommend visiting Wine 210 on an empty stomach. The food selection is limited and meant for nibbling while you sip on a glass of wine. However, the wine flight was well-balanced and full-bodied, and we thoroughly enjoyed our harmonious, flavorful sangrias.

Immediately, the ambiance transports you to an elegant wine bar downtown- without the ridiculous up charge or hassle of finding/paying for parking. The music was so chill; as was the bartender! He was warm & welcoming I'm already planning MULTIPLE trips back for the beverages AND small bites. Glad to have a sophisticated wine bar within 10 minutes of my home

This is a nice little place. I liked the ambiance. The menu, to me, seemed all around a bit limited. They hadn't been open for very long. The service was okay. We requested a few more crackers and were charged for them. Well, okay. The cheese/salami to cracker ratio was a tad off. LOL! Something I did like was the wine flights. It was a cool way to maybe try some wines I hadn't before. All in all, it wasn't bad. I think it's still early and hopefully they expand more on the menu.

Very nice wine bar, with a good selection and excellent service and a staff that hustles with a large crowd presence.

This is such a cool spot. It's tucked in a shopping center but they've done such a good job of giving it wine bar vibes inside. The staff was so nice and attentive. We came in for Happy Hour because they have some great specials. I enjoyed the Merlot and the Douglas Board.

The word WINE caught my attention one night as I was passing by. Can you tell what catches my attention? :) I had to do a quick double take to record it in my 'place to check out' list. It is an unassuming location within a very small strip center. My neighborhood has several good bars, but I prefer wine over beer and cocktails. I decided to stop and I am glad I did! Upon entering you are greeted with a faint fragrance of antique roses and the warm friendly smile of the owners. I enjoyed the smell, but my friend complained that it was causing her a headache as she has extreme sensitivity to many fragrances. The bar is small, cozy and a bit intimate. The seating options are - the large gorgeous black marble bar, bistro tables or if with a group of friends - a couple of areas with a couch and oversized chairs. After taking a seat, we were quickly served with water and provided menus to peruse. They have an good selection of wines from California as well as from all over the world. Wine is sold by the bottle, or by the glass. They also have some light bites to snack and enjoy with your wine. I was surprised I didn't notice any Texas wines. Maybe I missed them on the menu, but there are several good options to support our Texas locals. We enjoyed our drinks and were approached several times by the owners to check up on us and engage in some friendly conversation. What a great way to get to know the people in your neighborhood. Overall we had a very good experience and look forward in visiting again!

I came by this wine bar accidentally and I'm so glad I did. This is a female black owned wine bar that exceeded my expectations. They were warm and welcoming when I came in and I was served by the owner herself. The ambience was top tier, lighting was on point, and the music selection was chill. I enjoyed myself and can't wait to come back for a date night or girls night.

My first time at Wine 210 was so much fun ! The Moscato and Rose were a great way to start the weekend. The live music was very enjoyable and the workers are very nice!

Something about the pictures I seen made me interested in going and the Italian food . What an amazing experience food was amazing as I ordered the meatballs Caprese salad and the margarita pizza . Food was fresh and delicious and waiters were super friendly . The atmosphere was quaint, comfortable, and refreshing to sit on the patio that felt like I was sitting in the middle of a vineyard I purchased three bottles of the Zin pom wine can't wait to share with my friends. The most exciting part was to find out that the owners Sandra and her husband were from the bay area where I'm from and we're so nice and familiar to us and made us feel At home . She even offered next time to let her know if I was coming, she would show me around her vineyard . If I lived closer, I would definitely become a member as I hope to purchase more of this wine when I get back home

My sister is a member and hosted her 50th birthday here, so we expected a much higher level of organization and service. The party had already started and the rest of our group was there--we arrived late due to work and ordered food immediately when we got there. Right after placing our order, we were told we had to leave soon, so we asked to cancel it. Instead of handling this professionally, a staff member (River Dan) laughed and told us the food was "almost ready" because it had supposedly been placed 15 minutes earlier--which was not true. Another person in our party had ordered the exact same pizza before we did and was still waiting on theirs. We canceled our order, and their pizza didn't come out until about 10 minutes later. That makes it very clear ours was not "about to come out" like we were told. The explanation we were given simply didn't add up. Throughout the evening, staff seemed confused about orders. Drink service was also frustrating. I asked what a "zinpom" was, was told it was basically a juice wine, declined it, and specifically ordered a Sangiovese--yet I was still given the zinpom and then it was attempted to be charged to us. What made things worse was how the event itself was handled. My sister was never clearly given an end time when reserving the table. We were only told to leave about 15 minutes before the cutoff. At other wineries, guests are usually allowed to move to a general seating area after a private event ends, but here the only option was to leave entirely. Overall, the lack of communication, poor organization, and dismissive attitude from staff really overshadowed what should have been a special celebration. We expected much better, especially for a member-hosted event. If this is how members are treated, especially those who continue to frequent this place despite ongoing service issues, I can't imagine how non-members are treated

She mentioned several people called in and for that night we would have to go to the bar to order food or drinks then they would give us a number and serve us. We ended up ordering one drink each only since we were more interested in the band. We sat ourself outside and there was already a large crowd around 7ish. Still found a place to sit and enjoy the sunset. They had plenty of space and while we were waiting for the band we noticed one gentleman already singing. We waited for the band to show up but ended up leaving because this gentleman that was singing was catering to a much much older crowd and his music selection was very sleepy for us on a Saturday night. Not sure what happened to the band, maybe they were running late but overall still enjoyed our drinks and relaxed. We did not order food but might return and try it then. They do have several containers of water to access without going to the bar every time which was convenient.

Walking up stairs, the owner pointed out old bricks he found and used during the bars renovation. At the top of the stairs, a massive mirrored turn of the century bar awaited with mixologists wearing kilts! Yes kilts. It was here I saw a tiny bourbon barrel and ordered an old fashioned. Truly delightful- I had 2. I learned how Kendal county was created by a man named Kendall because he brought Scotsman and sheep over and developed a highly successful economy with wool. He showed us black and white photos of the same mirrored bar we were drinking at 36 years apart and with the same bartender who apparently lived in this area bartending his whole life. My wife had a cucumber lily and I had a whiskey something chill that was slightly orange favored, unique cocktails you can only get here. I learned the bartenders were really good. One had worked in Vegas and the other cut his teeth with descendants of Makers mark who taught him his skills. At the time of this post, it was near May 4th so They also had a life size Darth Vader, stormtrooper in a kilt and R2D2 light. Guy encouraged us to visit the restrooms. Inside were old black/white pictures of convicts and small blurbs about their crime written in gold foil on a black background- kind of Noir. Also running was a projector showing silent films. There were at least 2 of them in different places. Guy told us about the exclusive membership on the 3rd floor, accessible by an artistically designed red door with various half circles to an elevator. And I don't think he could help himself -he offered to show us the 3rd floor. Now, both the 1st and 2nd floor venues are impressive, and the 2nd floor out charms the first in my opinion, but the 3rd floor is simply Mega-cool magnificent. Recessed lighting throughout, a large print of Wonder Woman's face stood out on one wall next to a long well stocked bar, and leather furniture of a forgotten but classic era was Uber comfortable. And they have an outdoor patio with a great view. They had a floor to ceiling wine shelf with different names of clientele that ensure their preferred beverages are in stock. This is how the other side lives and I was fortunate and honored to get a glimpse of it. If you're still reading this awfully long review, I'll give you a 1-word summary od this entire place. IMPRESSIVE. And since Darth Vader is here too, I'll add "Most Impressive" Go. Thank you Guy for making our 16th anniversary most memorable and enjoyable. We'll certainly be back!
