Fantastic wine tour and service! Booked this tour about two weekends ago for my best friend's bachelorette party. We definitely wanted to do a wine tour, but we needed to figure out transportation because no one wants to drive (and shouldn't) after boozing all day. I contacted Billy about setting up a private tour and asked if he would pick us up at the house we were staying at for the weekend. He responded almost immediately and charged us a small fee to pick us up and drop us off at our requested location. All I had to do was book my reservation online, email him our address for pick up and he took care of the rest! It was easy, stress free and reasonably priced. Plus, we were definitely riding around in style! The interior was super nice and spacious. Billy had the Bluetooth set up and ready to go as soon as we hit the road. All-in-all, we had a great tour! My friends and I went on a tour with Billy from Winding Tours back in June and it was such a great time! We were celebrating a friends birthday and wanted to tour some wineries. The bus ride out to the wineries was fantastic. Billy had several charcuterie plates for us to snack on while enjoying some cold beverages on the way. He was the perfect guide, we all had a great time getting to know him! The bus itself was great, so nice and well kept, had a nice u shaped seating around a table with drink holders. It's perfect for a group of 8-10. The wineries themselves were awesome. Everything was arranged for us before we arrived so we just showed up and had our tasting station set up ready to go! This was the best way to spend a Saturday in the Texas hill country. Billy and Lisa were so helpful and responsive as I planned a bachelorette party where the bride requested a wine tour for Saturday. Billy picked us up from our townhouse in their beautiful bus with plenty of room. The wineries that they selected were amazing from the ambiance and views to the tasty wines...no complaints, only high praises here. Billy took good care of us and offered us tips and tricks when selecting wines to try and the lunch that was provided from Huisache grill was delicious. Awesome tour company! Katie was great with organizing and communicating the itinerary. Our ladies only family trip was sure to be doomed by the heavy rain storm we encountered...but Jaston assured us everything would be great and it was!!! He was in constant communication with the stops and they were so understanding with our schedule. He endured lots of loud singing and laughing and gave us great tips on drinks and wines... plus a little history along the way! (not to mention -- he's a really good photographer and could handle several iPhones at a time..lol) This was the 2nd time I used this tour company and will continue to use and recommend Winding Road Tours!!! read more

FIVE STARS all the way!!! We had a houseful of guests coming in for a visit, and hired Billy for a customized excursion. He picked us up at our home, took us to 7 wineries, breweries and distilleries in the hill country with a stop in Luckenbach. He provided cold water, chips, gourmet sandwiches, homemade cookies, a meat and cheese tray, and even a fruit tray for our vegan guest! Such a pleasant and accommodating host, and immaculately clean bus. We definitely will use him again, and highly recommend you do too! read more

This was a fantastic tour! My wife and I aren't big wine drinkers but Billy made sure we got to experience some terrific wines. He is knowledgeable and he has a great relationship with the wineries he visits so you get top notch service. The bus is very comfortable, well air-conditioned and it's very relaxing to enjoy some wine purchases and listen to Billy share stories of the area and point out local landmarks as you drive through the hill country. This was a great experience, can't imagine touring with anyone else in the Hill Country. Katie and Jaston extended every effort to fit everyone's plans together and were great communicating the plans and ensuring everyone was happy. Done tours previously, but not had as much fun as this trip. They have access to the good and interesting vineyards, in an area where new places pop up daily it seems. This was an amazing wine tour . The owner was on point with the wonderful wineries . They each had some amazing wines and wonderful amenities and gorgeous areas for enjoying your wine indoors or out ..The great music he had on the bus was really worthy of an entertaining ride ..His quick response on umbrellas when getting off because of rain shower was wonderful . The restaurant Salt Lick was fast and great food and we were back on the road to the next winery .. take this tour you won't be sorry .. read more

Best wine tour ever! My girlfriends and I booked a wine tour for my birthday. The owner, Katie, is beyond sweet! She made sure everything was perfect for us and we got the experience we were looking for. She even went out of her way to give me a list of fun things to do in the area since we aren't local. Cannot say enough great things about Billy, and his beautiful "limo bus" for our hill country wine tour ! His personal service went above and beyond: stopping at Salt Lick and picking up our dinner for us, working late when he could have been at Garth Brooks concert, showing us a local Mexican restaurant for breakfast tacos. We had the best time! Billy is a great tour guide - so laid back and knowledgeable about the local area. The bus is immaculate and the charcuterie lunch is delicious. Such a great way to spend a day in Greune/New Braunfels. They also do distilleries and breweries. My husband and I went just the 2 of us and had a great time meeting new people.
