What a wonderful hidden gem we found... Everyone was so friendly and welcoming when we walked in. Love the decor and atmosphere of this place They've got a great selection of wines. You can even join their wine club. Let's not forget the live music. They have a food menu. I didn't look too much at it. Looks like I've gotta go back We ordered the charcuterie board. Yum!

Love Vine in the village. Feels like family every time we are here. Dana, Lea, the entire staff is amazing! Our favorite night is Tuesdays for Challenge Entertainment Trivia. Teri is the best!!!!!

Impromptu dinner plans and headed to @vineinthevillage to check it out. Happy hour was until 6:30pm and we made it for a couple of drinks. My husband tried the Alex Pilsner draft from New Braunfels and really enjoyed it. I had a glass of house Pinot Noir. My husband had the Wedge Salad which he shared with Dad and me. Very fresh! Overall, the food was good but don't expect big portions of food. Small tapa plates. We had the Crab Cakes, Hummus Plate, Brisket Pizza and the Philly Cheesesteak. The crab cakes were overpriced and over salted. I would give it 3 stars. The brisket pizza and cheesesteak were tasty. @ginosdeli need not worry. We had the Chocolate Truffles for dessert. The middle was cakey and warm. Dad didn't want his so I'll have the last one with coffee in the morning! Thursday night is open mic night. It could be really good or not. It was just getting started as we ended our meal so can't really fully weigh in. There were outdoor seating but the ones available were high tops which would've been difficult for Dad to sit up. They have wine memberships available for those who want to frequently stop by for wine.

This spot is so cozy, it feels like a hug. :) And everyone is so kind and friendly! It's the perfect place to meet up with friends or grab a drink after work. You can sit inside or outside and look at the hill country while the sun sets. I was also shocked when I ordered their pretzel and it was the best pretzel I've ever had in my life! Fresh and tasty, not too salty or too buttery but just right. I love this place and can't recommend it enough. Whenever I am in town visiting my parents, this is my first stop. :)

This is the half charcuterie board!! Partially eaten, of course!

This place is amazing. Super friendly and welcoming; despite being a "wine bar". No judgement at Wine in the Village!! The folks remembered my name and order! And I had a beer!! The food is wonderful. Everything is very reasonably priced. I'll certainly become a frequent customer!!

Our favorites are the wings (they are the best wings I've had), fries with dill ranch, the orzo pasta salad, fig and prosciutto flatbread and their caviar tater tots! I love how they have options for everyone and how everything is so fresh!! Atmosphere: may be my favorite part and here's why. Inside is adults only, so perfect for date night or a night out with friends. The decor is stunning and everything is soooo thoughtfully curated. Even their bathrooms are cute! lol Then you walk outside and everything transforms into the perfect family friends atmosphere with turf, a playground, and even a little playhouse for the kids to explore. The recently fenced in their playground which I love! They have comfy seating and cozy string lights. It's literally the perfect combo or aesthetic and family friendly! They also do live music on weekends and just recently did a Bubbles & Glow Sticks event for the kids. They also have a covered cigar lounge patio with a huge tv and couches. Now onto their drinks: AMAZING! I was able to speak with their two head bartenders and you can just hear the passion. They're always adding and testing new cocktails, and they have a great wine selection. My favorite cocktail is the Cucumber Twinetini! Service has been incredible. Everyone from their waitstaff to the bartenders to the owners are so friendly and passionate. You can tell the owners take great care of them and really care. This spot is located in downtown Bulverde and is a 12 minute drive from our house near Stone Oak. It's a small business owned by the sweetest husband and wife who have plans to expand into more restaurants and entertainment. They were pretty busy with reservations when we arrived so we sat at the bar. They have happy hour from 3-6 Wednesday- Friday and all day Sunday. They have a separate happy hour menu with bites and a couple different wines. There main menus does consist of wines from multiple regions of the world. They also have wine flights for you to sample new things . My wife and I ordered the meat balls and the cellar cut flat bread . The meat ball's were very tender with excellent flavor and are served with a marinara sauce and ricotta cheese. It's also accompanied by two slices of garlic bread. The Flat bread was a nice portion size for two . It is meant for those who love cheese as the mozzarella and feta are very present. The meat portion could be a bit more for me ( I'm a carnivore). The dough was nice and airy and the flatbread overall was tasty. The feta was a bit too much for my taste. Could have done less. I started with the GSM and my wife with the Cab Sav from happy hour . The GSM was flavorful, a little bold, but a little bitter to me. The Cabernet was very fruity and full bodied . We tried a couple other wines that were spot on. This is a nice place to have wine with friends and bites. It is a nice size and has an excellent atmosphere. Very nice decor and bright. We will be back !

A reviewer mentioned that being here gives the feeling of hanging in someone's wine cellar which is the impression I got as I set foot in here. With the word wine being the in name of the establishment, you will find an extensive selection of wines available by glass and bottle and categorized by white types and red types. Being a Zinfandel guy, the bartender turned me to the Girard "Old Vine" Zinfandel. This is a pricy wine at $25/glass. I enjoyed the hell out of it as it's one of the better Zinfandel's I've ever had. Definitely steep at $25. I probably should've gone with the wine flight which is what my friend did before he switched to a Malbec. I forgot which one he did but the flights are all prearranged to compliment one another. It makes for a nice experience if you're not sure what wine you want to zero in on. As for food, we paired our wine with a charcuterie board. It's a standard board with some baguette slices and a mix of cheeses and meats with a candied jalapeno spread. A very nice compliment to wine. They have happy hour, wine of the month, and a wine/dine theme for every month where they pair wines with a themed menu. Plus sangria is available as well. Also there is wine tasting every Wednesday so the place gets packed from what I heard. But I'd certainly be open to attending one. Can't wait to come back here!

Our friendly young male server suggested a new Portuguese beer that just came out. It comes in a 4-pack, 6.8 oz bottles with convenient pull-tabs & on a bucket of ice. We went for it! Not bitter, light bodied & easy to drink. We savored the ambiance in the outdoor patio as it FINALLY cooled down to the low 70s! We were given water in a carafe and 2 glasses. I'm sensitive to the taste of municipal tap water so I should've asked if it was filtered water? You'll have to ask for ice cubes if you want ice. Our tapas were the scallops ceviche tostadas(2 tortillas holding them) & a flatbread with Serrano jamon, sliced pears, melted brie, onions & drizzled balsamic glaze. Hubs liked it but I thought it was lukewarm & skimpy on the ham. The cheese wasn't gooey & cooled off. Was slightly gamey to me. He loved his scallop ceviche tostada. The restaurant wasn't very occupied but our server said it gets pretty packed in the evening esp. when there's live music. More people came in when we were almost finished eating. We ate outside because they must have just disinfected & mopped the floors because the inside had a super strong chemical smell. Lots of metal tables and chairs in the patio.
