I was really looking forward to this visit since I haven't been here in years, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several areas. I ordered the shrimp tossed in chili teriyaki sauce, as listed on the menu. The shrimp were fried extremely hard and arrived cold. Instead of being properly tossed in sauce, there was only a minimal drizzle on a few pieces, which made the dish feel incomplete and not as described. The catfish nuggets and fries were just okay--again, both arrived cold, which seems to be a consistent issue with food temperature. The bar experience was also disappointing. The green tea shots were not made correctly, and the "double" shot of Jack Daniels was poured more like a single. In addition, the menu did not include any drink options or pricing. While the waiter mentioned they have a full bar, having a drink menu (even a basic one) would make ordering much easier and more enjoyable, especially for guests looking to try something new. Service-wise, the waiter was clearly overwhelmed and not very available, but when she did come to the table, she was very kind and pleasant. No complaints about her attitude--just a staffing or management issue. Overall, there's definitely potential here, but improvements are needed in food temperature, menu accuracy, and bar consistency to elevate the experience. read more

A time was had in 1/27 is all I can saw. First time visiting as my sister rented a booth for her birthday. Booth space was ample and super comfortable. We were grateful to have elevated seated as the night went on as it was packed!! We opted for the Tito's and juice set up as part of booth tab. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and oooowee yes cooked to perfection. The space isn't the largest but the decor is nicely done. Bar and food service were timely. DJ was great. Considering I don't do night clubs or clubs atmosphere, but honestly the way it was transformed during the day hours was good way to not be so "clubsy". Today was my first time coming to Love for their Sunday Brunch and to celebrate a friend! It was a very nice adult atmosphere. The music was nice, the service was excellent and the food was not for a vegan! I highly recommend! ... Because the owner Curtis came over and moved us to a VIP sectiin and showered the honoree with bottle girls and adult beverages. It was a vibe. read more

In Love was moderately lit for a Sunday day party. We had a couple of sections inside, ordered some appetizers and a few bottles of champagne. The waitresses were super attentive, which I loved. I didn't eat much, but this one shrimp appetizer was sooo good. It had some sort of hot sauce on it. I only had one piece because I wasn't hungry, but I wish I ate more! The music was okay at first, and then it got way better once the DJ came around 6pm. Before that, it seemed like they just had a playlist going. You could tell because there were long gaps between songs lol Also, if you're used to lounges with dance floors, this ain't that. It's literally sections all over--no space to dance really. I wish the parking lot was bigger and they didn't have so many reserved parking spots but it is what it is. The place is huge on the inside. Bottle service girls are extremely nice. This was my 2nd visit since the remodel. The environment is good for birthdays with a group as there is a lot of booth seating throughout. The decor is chic and gives a NYC vibe. There are many backgrounds for photo ops which us ladies love, the bathroom is always full because the walls are pink and girly. The bottle service is fun, they bring out sparklers and a sign with the birthday person's name. Overall a good and safe time in the city which is important these days, the staff is accommodating, the crowd is 21+, I didn't feel out of place and I'm over 40. I went to the soft opening of LoVe and the remodel is amazing!!! - The staff is on it! Security looks good in their updated attire but like I said, don't play with them. The ladies at the door are handling business and making sure everyone is seated where they need to be. - The business is in the booths. So I highly suggest booking and securing those reservations because this is a strategy and I gotta give 'em their props, it's smart. HOWEVER the vibe is still casual and move with the flow so there are benches to sit on like before. - Live music and hookah is on schedule for grand opening weekend. - I described the interior decor as appropriately sexy and casually sleek. The exterior is very open and airy and I love how they've opened the bar on both sides. Smart! - The Love bottle girls are in full effect and taking care of business. They are delivering value to the table and doing it expeditiously. We were asked for feedback before we left which I loved because they want to provide the best experience for all of us. - All new menu! So give everything a try and don't get in your feelings but I think the hood sauce wings are gone yall. They do have a variety of flavors now that I think you'll like. - All of the drinks I had were made with premium liquor with seems too be the right choice. - The ladies restroom is so cute, fun and girly!! - One word: BRUNCH. First time visiting since the renovations and I will say this. It's a very nice aesthetic. Plenty of instagrammable moments. But my concern was the food and how I was going to eat comfortably. The booth/table set up is not conducive for eating. They provide individual tv trays for your food (see pictures). Not a fan of that at all. It's cool for drinks and hookah. To comfortably eat, I suggest sitting at the bar. read more

This was my first time going on a Monday night. The ambiance was nice, the food hit the spot, the live band and the DJ was off the chain! I really enjoyed myself! The cost was FREE! I think that is so awesome for the young professionals who tend to be the biggest audience. Had a great time! The club opens at 4 and happy hour (2 for 1 drink specials) is from 4-7... so my friend and I arrived at around 5. We were the only ones there! Lol! The staff at this place is so disrespectful and so is the management. I paid for a table and got all kinds of stuff added to my tab. Then on top of that I asked for another server she literally gave me attitude and told me I had to paid for the drink she brought when I had a tab of 200.00 all because I didn't want to wait 30 mins each time she left our booth for food and drinks. We got a new server I remind you I don't know what kind of game they were playing but I paid 350.00 dollars for a table for me and my cousin just trying to show support. Its 150.00 dollars just to sit down and a 200.00 dollar tab for food and drinks. We stayed their a couple hours when it was time to go I asked for the ticket and noticed she handed me the card reader to slide my card and I said no let me see the receipt once she left and came back with the receipt I noticed tab was 500.00 dollars plus the 200.00 dollar tab we already had. So I'm guessing somebody is added extra stuff to our receipts cause no way we order 700.00 dollars worth of food and drinks. But on top of that she snatched my receipt out my hand and ripped it up with an attitude the disrespect, then she went and got security and the manager and they treated us like shit. First time here with friends from work. Got there around 930-1000. The DJ was set up and playing but none of the bartenders were set up for about 20 mins after us arriving. It was dead until about 1045 (apparently the cover charge starts at 11 from my understanding). But once the clock struck 11, the place was packed. They have tables all around the place but they were all reserved so we sat on the benches next to the dance floor. I felt like I was one of the only people dancing till about 12, then everybody started coming out of their shells. All in all it was a pretty fun night. read more

Went out for a ladies Saturday night out on the town and had a ball. Dj played hit after hit even played music requests. Drinks weren't as strong as I would like but to each it's own. Reasonable cover charge too! Only complaint is the women's bathroom-tissue everywhere on the floor and water over the sink counters and floor. Not a good look! When I sat down at the bar, the first thing I said was, "Small place, but it reminds me a club on South Beach." In Love Memphis is a small club with a large amount of VIP tables. I do love the fact that they do have chairs available for us folks who can't afford VIP but like to wear 5 inch heels. The dance floor is kind of small. There are 3 large bars in this small club. One in the VIP section and 2 in the gen-pop section. The DJ booth is prominently situated next to the dance bar and in the middle of the VIP section. I ordered the Asian inspired fried shrimp with fries. Was tasty, but I would not order again. The bartenders were very friendly and serviced the bar professionally. What I dislike most about some clubs in various cities is the "Sex Segregation" that seems to proliferate these, often pretentious, spaces. Men talk to Men. Women talk to Women. That kind of vibe gets old quickly. I was at LOVE until about 1:30 am and I observed maybe 3 or 4 people dancing on the dance floor. Meanwhile, the club was packed. I loved Love! I came here for their NYE celebration when visiting Memphis. I had a great time dancing & drinking all night! The crowd was mature, sexy and dressed to impress. The DJ played a great mix of old and new school. This lounge reminded me of a hot NYC or DC spot with southern hospitality (I can really appreciate that)!
