Seeing as how this In-N-Out location finally reopened after a much-needed renovation to get all the cars off the street due to the insane drive-thru lines here, it's a good time to actually review it. Ordered my usual 3x3 animal style and protein style. The quality of the food is as to be expected from all In-N-Outs. The one thing that I added as an extra was the animal fries with raw chopped onion, whole grilled onion, and whole raw onion. Wish I had remembered to order the fries light well, but aside from that they got this right. Staff here are super friendly. As noted, they had to close this location for a bit because the cars were spilling into the street due to the long drive-thru lines. They made it better by creating two drive-thru lanes that merge into one. Good enough, I guess. Not surprised this In-N-Out is slammed all the time as it serves a very large area. But they deliver the typical In-N-Out experience, which is all you can hope for! read more

Finally got to visit after their remodel and the drive through line seems to move a little quicker than before; now having 2 lanes that merge to back to one. My double doubles and fries taste as good as they used to. There appears to be a few more outdoor dining tables outside too. The parking lot is brighter and improved for flow of traffic. My first time here after their newly renovated parking lot. They took over Twoheys and expanded the lot. Now you need to enter through Stoneman Ave to get into their drive thru. The drive thru line splits into 2 and merges back for the pay and food windows. My usual orders are double double (protein style if I want to be healthy), with whole grilled onions, chopped chilies and pickles. Not much to say. In n out is always consistent. My go to order is a double single with raw onion, chopped chili and order of fries with spread packets on the side. This Atlantic blvd location recently got a parking lot and drive thru lane upgrade. While it's more organized, it's still very packed and the line feels it takes just as long if not longer. On a Friday late afternoon in late October, I noticed the short line at the drive thru reopening of In and Out. They reconstructed the 2 driveways. I noticed signs of drive thru which went thru the parking lot and another security guard pointing which of 2 lanes to go. Then the employee took my order and lined up back to single line. Right off the reason there is this humongus line is because they price burgers like champions they taste better than many gourmet burgers and they always hand it to you like you are special. Their pink lemonade does NOT taste like chemical and it's refillable! Meal and drink for 2 people is cheaper than a single burger at Wendy's. This review is not for the food. Anyone who has had In-N-Out knows there's a reason why the lines are what they are. I am here to do the Lord's work since I myself needed this info and none of you Yelpers provided this info. Shameful. As you know, this location was renovated due to traffic issues. Have the traffic issues been resolved? Absolutely not, now they even have a (temporary) crew controlling traffic. You will start your journey on Atlantic Just like before but you will turn right onto that first small street to enter the drive-thru. If you want to park, that entrance is just past the drive-thru entrance. There will be signs so you can't mess this up. Once you get in the drive-thru lane there are two lanes from which orders are taken. The two lines then merge into a single lane. Pay attention as to who they tell you will be in front of you or you're order is going to get mixed up. Reconfirm your order when you're getting your food because the girl was so confused with my order. I went just before 2 p.m. on a Sunday and it took 45 mins to get my food. Let's just be glad we have our location back. Perhaps the wait is longer because we've all been deprived of our local joint so it became a luxury to have it by driving further. There's private amd street parking to get here. Although either way it could be chaotic, there's loads of traffic. There's a drive thru but even with the renovations, it's a long line that wraps around the block. There's plenty of indoor seating plus some outdoors also. It's pretty clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. There would be some waiting for the food but that's expected for a busy place. They do have a speaker for the outside tables. The food is hot and fresh considering how constant they are making the food. Burgers and fries are delicious. I know the fries have mixed reviews but I like them fine. read more

Went to the drive thru where you pay at one window and pick up at another. No possibility for the person handing me my burger to have also come in contact with my money. The picture proves otherwise. I was half way done with my burger when I bite into something hard. I instantly detach my mouth from the burger, take off the wrapper, and a literal dime; a 10 cent coin, falls out the bottom. Not only is this super unsanitary, but also ridiculously dangerous. I had to stop my 5 year old child from eating his burger so I can take it apart and make sure there was nothing hidden inside. Corporate customer support said they would send over some meal vouchers but I feel like this is a huge hazard and could've been a lot worse. Such a shame because in n out is my favorite burger place. Food and ambiance is always great at In-N-Out. I visited a Sunday evening, May 31st at around 8:30 PM. I placed my order with the cashier who was extremely friendly as always. Sat down and waited for my to-go order. The young Asian lady, probably new because I have never seen her before, she was calling out orders for the past 30 minutes I was there waiting for my order; she smiles at every customer that walks up and greets them with enthusiasm. She's also slow sending/calling out orders and orders were all over the counter which I've never seen before. Then....she calls my number, and I walk up to pick up my order. For whatever reason, her smile fades into an RBF. First of all, she doesn't ask me if I want ketchup which normally every team member always asks due to SOP, she proceeds to shoves the bag and so I kindly requested for spread, and she throws it in my bag with attitude. We all know that feeling when someone has an attitude. That is exactly what this Asian lady had with me. I have never met this person. This is one of those WTF moments in life. I walked up completely normal and I was not disrespectful in any way however she chose to throw attitude and act rude. I've never experienced anything like that before at any In-N-Out. I always experience great service at this particular location. She is the one person that I have ever encountered that threw the spread in my bag the way she did. Tossed it like garbage and I am not blowing this out of proportion. Despite this experience, I still love In-N-Out. For future reference I will go place my orders thru the drive thru line just because. Personally I'd rather just not have to deal that bull shit. I walk into to order to save money on gas because the drive thru lines are insanely long and my engine is just guzzling gas during the times of inflated gas prices. Love this In-N-Out but it's always packed so be prepared for a wait. Came on a Sunday around 2:30pm and waited in drive through for 30min. We ordered 6 burgers, 6 animal style fries and 2 large shakes. Their shakes were enormous for less than $5!! Best thing about this place is we've never had our order messed up or sauces/fries missed. I cannot believe how crowded it was and how organized it was. All the seats were occupied. Still, it was very nice and clean. The food was tasted with good price. I honestly thought this location was pretty good before the renovation/ changes made with the drive through. They never got any orders wrong and everything was consistent. However, yesterday we paid for an extra patty (3x1) but only got a 2x1. Disappointed, because we already got home and didn't want to go back just for the patty. Will probably call their corporate/HQ number and see what they would say. Not only that, because they changed up the drive through, the parking is smaller and has dead ends. Previously, we were waiting at a parking spot while trying to not block the one intersection at the entrance/exit and a car pulled up and stole our spot, oblivious to the fact that we were waiting and then had the audacity to tell us that they're not leaving because we still have our blinkers on...like SIR. you just stole our spot, you didn't even look!! What! No way that you're lucky a spot opened up when you first pulled up, maybe assess the area to see if a car is actually waiting first? This had us waiting another 10-15 minutes before another parking spot opened, then we have to wait the usual 20-30 minutes from the time we order to the time we get our food. The layout of this location is interesting - the drive thru line kind of leads out to the Main Street which and if you miss the turn to get in to the parking lot, you'll have to loop around. I always order inside because it seems to be slightly faster than the drive thru. The workers here are super friendly and quick. I have a particular order and sometimes this location misses the mark on specific requests probably because it's so fast paced they're so used to just making everything the standard way. I usually order animal style fries with no salt and light spread but 3/5 times they never honor those preferences which isn't a super big deal to me because the food is still really good. I also order a protein style cheeseburger with extra lettuce and grilled onions. Inside there is plenty of seating and the workers are quick to clean up tables for guests. In-N-Out is a California staple and this is a great local location if you're around the area. The only thing stopping this spot from getting five stars is the fact that it is a huge pain to get into. Regardless of whether you're coming from Garfield or Huntington drive, you have to do a little bit of Jenga to get into the parking lot. Other than that, you get the classic In-N-Out layout that seems to be almost the same at every location somehow. The service is extremely fast and everyone super nice. It must be a hiring requirement or something. The and the food is absolutely delicious. Definitely start with a classic menu but start googling for a secret menu items like animal style and protein style burgers once you've worked your way down. Not a food review, a review of the new property layout. The purchase of the previous Twoheys to expand the site was to alleviate the chronic traffic backup on both Atlantic and Garfield. This very busy intersection had multiple lanes blocked due to In-N-Out traffic, also blocking the Wa Sushi location. The issue now is that despite the additional traffic lanes for the drive through in the expanded property, the lines of traffic on the public streets is even worse. Problem not solved, even worse. The green lines on the map show the prior site entry and traffic backup, and the red lines show the new entry and traffic backup. The backup is now blocking a very busy bus stop on Huntington between Atlantic and Stoneman. And the traffic is STILL backing further down (South) Garfield and creating the same traffic problems and other business impairment. At some point this is going to need to be addressed again. Don't even get me started on 80 cars idling all waiting to eat cheeseburgers. read more
