Great Double Double and fries. First time to eat in Austin and it was great. Service immediate and professional. Classic In N Out environment.

We LOVE stopping at In-N-Out every time we land in Austin - this location is on the way from the ATX airport to our hotel downtown so this is a convenient stop. It's not in the best part of town but the staff does their best to keep it clean and be approachable. Husband had double double with animal fries and a coke and I had a cheeseburger (animal style) with fries and a Neapolitan shake. We left full and happy for $23 - definitely recommend. HUGE bonus is the Christian values of In-N-Out with scripture written in inconspicuous places of their packaging

Consistently good service and good food! They did a nice job keeping the dining area cleaned while super busy!

Flavorful, cheap, fast, healthy-ish?? Who knew they had a "protein-style" burger where they sub the regular bun for some lettuce and let me tell you, it did not ruin the burger!! Get animal style everything and you wont regret it. What a meal!!!!!

The absolute best! Nothing beats a burger and fries from In and Out! The service is fast and friendly, you can't beat the prices, the inside is clean, and the food is delicious and fresh. Have been to this location more times than I can count on my fingers and will continue coming back. Zero complaints- keep up the good work.

Ok....Well Deserved Five Star! And in my Capital City no less. Texans are a welcoming bunch and when it comes to good food whether California or Mars,I welcome it. The only place more Californianz have relocated besides my north Texas area is Austin. So,I guess it's good that In and Out has it right here in the heart of Texas I mean, when someone from say, San Jose sees the sign and turns in,he's looking for a taste of home. This is it. Absolutely delicious. This was my first animal style double double and I couldn't be happier. An entire combo meal with added chocolate shake for $11! Go!!!!!

    Fried and also us

Animal style fries were wet all the way through. Unheard of. Wet on the bottom!! Normally I have to flip em upside down and toss em around a bit, but tonight they were wet as soon as I put them on my lap. Lowkey had to put it in park in line. That was wild.

My first In N Out experience, and wow, I wish there were some on the east coast! My burger had a good crispy edge, and plenty of deliciousness. It felt like a blend of Wendy's and Five Guys for flavor. Also downed a chocolate shake before I could snag a pic. This place lives up to the hype. Next time I'll try for animals style fries. But I'm a fan!

In & Out was a treat for us as we thought it was a West Coast franchise! You can't go wrong with hand cut fries and burgers! Atmosphere is fun and the service was great!

Stopped for an after Nutcracker Ballet and it hit the spot. The Double Cheeseburger with grilled onions was oh so delicious. Side note, this was the very same place my daughter at 2 & half had her French Fries for the very first time when we we first adopted her and had come home to Austin. The folks at this place hustle with good service.

The lovely woman who helped us during our last visit also gave Zoloft a pup cup, so they've consistently shown kindness to our little family. But the staff handled it really well. They were fast, apologetic, and refreshingly colloquial, not stiff or robotic, just real people taking care of customers and keeping things moving. Since fried chicken was off the table, I went with the grilled chicken, and honestly it was excellent. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and flavorful enough that it did not feel like a consolation prize. Maybe this was the universe giving my cholesterol a temporary reprieve. The collards were just okay and not the strongest part of the meal, but everything else made up for it. The restaurant itself was super clean, and you could tell this newer location is well cared for. At about two years old, it still felt sharp, polished, and well run. I've been to several Hattie B's locations over the years, including the original in Nashville, Franklin, and Atlanta, where I once saw a woman riding a horse down the street in front of the store, which remains one of the more unforgettable restaurant-adjacent moments of my life. Austin compared well with all of them. Bonus points, there was no line, so we had a quick lunch with coworkers and still made it to the airport early. Not the exact Hattie B's experience we expected, but still a very good one, and a place I'd absolutely come back to.

You could really taste the freshness and care they put into every bite. Recently, I went back after not having it for a while, craving that same experience... but unfortunately, it just wasn't the same. The burger tasted different -- almost like they've changed something or started taking shortcuts. It was like a school lunch burger + the onion rings were burnt but also cold at the same time. The flavor and quality that made me come back before just weren't there this time, which was super disappointing. I honestly left feeling a little sad because I used to go there all the time for that exact reason and took a 30 min drive to try it again. On the positive side, the staff is still amazing. Everyone was really friendly, and that part hasn't changed at all. And I did grab one of the locally made sweets from the fridge, and that was actually really good. I'm really hoping they go back to the quality they used to have, because Wholly Cow used to be one of the best burger spots around.
