For all the hype about being a great burger place, I don't see the big deal! The hamburgers are o.k. and the fires and drinks are nothing outstanding. The biggest thing about the place is the line. And it is always seemingly a mile long. I don;t want to say the burgers are bad, they are decent but not any better than any other burgers. I would prefer most any other burger. I should mention I have tried the place 3 different times just to make sure. I won't be gong back again unless I am being taken by someone else who wants to experience in and out burgers! we wne there for something fast since Ihop was crowded on a Saturday mid morning. The food was ok and the fries were not good at all. They tasted over cook. Good thing was they don't salt their fries they give you packages of salt to do it your self. It's call in and out because there are only 3 types of main food items you can buy. A double double, or a Cheeseburger, or a Hamburger. And fries and a Shake or soda. I would just pass on this place since the food was average at best. Will not eat there ever again if in town. Gorgeous burgers! Perfectly assembled! Beautiful produce! Nice employees! (5 stars for these things but unfortunately I was here for the food, not the looks.) These burgers could be plastic models they're so pretty! Unfortunately, they shouldn't TASTE like plastic models...but they do. No flavor whatsoever regardless of how I order them. The cheese tastes like...you guessed it. I can't taste it at all. I'm honestly not trying to be mean, but either these burgers aren't real, or I've lost every one of my taste buds in my old age. Funny, I can still taste Whataburger so it must not be my taste buds. Another major con (besides the tasteless fries) is that these tasteless burgers are in little half bags which means they are not wrapped. Nothing worse than trying to eat un unwrapped burger in the car. There is no paper with which to catch the bits that fall and the little bag is soaked through with sauce so it becomes a soggy mess quickly. They're a mess and cold by the time you eat them anyway. After half a dozen chances, I need to cross them off my list. 5 stars for the looks, cleanliness and the nice employees, 1 star for the food = 3 star average. read more

Wow, wont be coming back here again. On the plus, the place was neat and clean. Prices are cheap. Service was kinda slow. My goodness, I feel sick a few hours after eating here. The fries tasted real bad. Something was off. I tried not to waste them but couldn't eat them. Something wasn't right. Now I want to throw up. My first time here, played it safe and ordered a regular hamburger, fries, and a pink lemonade at the drive-thru window. Service was excellent from ordering, to pay at window, to picking up order at 2nd window. The price of my whole order was under $5, tax included. Impressive? You bet. I was impressed with the burger itself. They even grill the insides of the buns so they are nice and toasty, just like I like them done. The lettuce, tomato, and onion was fresh, there were no pickles, which was fine with me. There was a dressing used instead of the usual mayonnaise or mustard. It was okay, although I would have preferred mustard, given the choice. I was not given a choice, nor was I asked how I wanted the meat cooked, rare, medium, or done. Mine was cooked medium and was still a little pink in the center. That was okay, I just would have preferred it cooked maybe a minute longer. The meat was tasty and seasoned just right, meat was a thin patty and did not fill the bun. I now just wished I had ordered a double meat burger and will the next time I try one here. I didn't care for the lemonade, but that's my problem, I really like them made with fresh lemons and this one didn't taste like it was. The fries were about average, I could take them or leave them. They give a generous amount and I never can finish an order any how. For what I got, it was well worth the price, hence the 3 star rating. I will go again, just for a double meat. read more

I can't say enough about the food I love the fresh ingredients. I grew up on in n out we would rush out to our cars at lunch and head to in n out and pick up burgers and fries for everyone. Their fries are Awesome the same way we make fries at home from fresh not frozen potatoes. I like lettuce leaves not shredded bagged lettuce fresh tomatoes fresh ground beef fresh buns. I don't like the burgers at other places that put their cheeseburgers in the microwave to melt the cheese. Very happy I have this option for lunch and dinner read more

Where to start? I walked in hearing good things and expecting a good visit. Coming in the place looks and smells nice but that's where the good ends. We order their cheeseburger combo thinking the double double would be too much but I wish I had just gotten that. The burger itself was minuscule, which explains the cheap pricing. After we got our food the fries tastes good for the first few then just started tasting like cardboard. After eating the tiny burger and trying to power through the fries we decided to just order 2 more cheeseburgers cause we were still hungry. First one came with grilled onions, the second ones were topped with a ridiculous amount of sliced onion rings that didn't look fresh. All in all this place was one of the biggest disappointments I've encountered. How it has so many 5 star reviews is beyond me as I would rather get mcdonalds than these sorry excuse for burgers. Any Texan who loves themselves a good burger is best to avoid this place, I will never be coming to an In-N-Out again. read more

Was disappointed my first visit here so thought I'd visit one more time. This is basically a fast food burger joint like burger king, etc. but with fresh ingredients, including non-frozen fries. The freshness is noticable. Had the Double-double animal style and fries well done animal style as well. Had fries the normal way my first visit and was very disappointed how undercooked and stale-like they were but well done is much better! Though you wont have the guilt of eating these fries, i still like wendys and mcdonalds fries better. The burger was great although I probably wont get animal style next time on it. Animal style on the fries were ok. I dunno if its just me but animal style is overhyped- tastes like a milder or diluted bigmac special sauce (diluted thousand island dressing + grilled onions) and not worth the extra steep price to add on. Anywhoo better job this visit and price is moderate- about &7.50 for the burger and fries animal style, no drink. if you're a californian hipster who misses home, this is your spot.
