The cheeseburgers are very delicious. They're fries are plain but if you add salt and pepper they are really good. I recommend it for anyone who wants a hamburger that represents California. I wish that they would serve quicker, the lines fill up fast and they need to make it possible to eat within 15 minutes of ordering. Sometimes one must wait 20 minutes for their food. read more

It's really a hit or miss, sometimes you will get someone who is pumping out deliciousness, other times you'll be wishing you didn't wait so long for a subpar burger. Overall the service is always good, avoid the drive thru on the weekends late nights if your impatient. read more

I was in the Santa Barbara area and being that it is so expensive, I found out that there was an In-N-Out just a couple more exits off the freeway. I can always count on In-N-Out to offer a great burger for a good price. The service is always top-notch and they will make your burger just the way you want it. Everything is always fresh and you can taste each and every item inside that burger, the lettuce, the tomato, the cheese, the meat... Amazing! You can't compare this to any other place. The gourmet burger places might be all the rage, but I'm not convinced that a burger should cost as much as they charge. So I'm sticking with In-N-Out! read more

There's a reason people claim in n out is the best. I have always loved their burgers but only truly began to appreciate them now that I'm in Virginia and can no longer have their amazing food. service has always been amazing as well. My baseball team used to always go into this location after games and they never seemed overwhelmed by feeding 18 teenagers several double doubles each (i can do 3 on a good day). Cheerful and helpful service. If you haven't dipped in-n-out fries in their chocolate shake you haven't lived. read more

This In-N-Out is one of my favorites. Granted it's the only one in Santa Barbara County, it is wonderful! Only a few times have been disappointing, with burnt fries or a mistake on an order, but if you bring it to their attention, they will gladly make up for it right away. read more

Love in-n-out but the food here was mediocre. It is located right by the 101 so it's very busy and probably the reason the burger wasn't top notch. However, I give it four stars instead of three because of their employee, Courtney, who was very kind to remove the trash from our dirty table before my friends and I sat down. She also offered to take away our trays afterward and made us feel as if we were eating at a five star restaurant. She was really nice, I hope they promote her! read more

VERY disappointed in the service and food at the Goleta location today. I had never tried In-N-Out and after waiting over twenty minutes in the drive-thru for a single order, being asked if I wanted ketchup and answering yes, then receiving none, and then getting home to find that my coke was essentially soda water and the fries were completely nasty....don't think I will be eating there again. It seemed that the young woman in the drive-thru was more interested in flirting with her co-worker than she was getting orders correct....and in a timely manner. I know there had to be fifteen cars waiting in line....and it wasn't lunch time. That is totally and completely ridiculous, especially for the lackluster food. read more

Hmmmmm.... In n out. Usually my favorite burger spot. Today unfortunately wasn't the case :( I rolled into the drive through in my like new black 06' accord and 9:45pm today and ordered a number 1 and number 2 combo with a pink lemonade and a Coke. The food for one, was as good as it usually is, hot, steamy, cheeses, juicy goodness all wrapped up in none other than a potato bun I mean cmon cmon ? What else could one want ? Umm nothing.... So on to the part of the review where I explain just exactly why only the mere 3 stars were given? Well, I'll tell ya! It's because the the employee I dealt with has the iQ of the onions I didn't want on my burger.. I specifically told her 2 times when I ordered that I did NOT want ANY ONIONS on my burger AT ALL......... And.... ON TOP of that extremely unfortunate mishaps turns into not one but a series of unfortunate events because the man who swiped my card is a dufus and has the physical motor skills of a newborn meal worm. He f***ing dropped my credit card(excuse my French) while giving it back to me and it went like 2 feet away and didn't even offer to help get it or come around a pick it up for me when my car door was already hard to open being close to the window, and didn't even say sorry! He just looked at me like he looks at your burgers after an 8 hour shift and continued to stare into the abyss. Sad day for my in n out experience. In out burger doesn't seem to be what they used to be. After I got my burger and fries I had to return the fries because they were cold and stiff. Took a bite of my burger while I was waiting. It was cold too. Almost no meat to those burgers anymore either. The help used to be so nice and friendly and polite. The girl was snappy and had a bad attitude. read more

I stopped by the Goleta In-N-Out today just so I could write a fresh review. I used to eat at various In-N-Out locations around the state a lot but not so much lately. I popped in around 1:30 in the afternoon and the drive through line was past the first exit. So I start the stop watch on my phone and wait. 4 1/2 minutes later the friendly lady walks up to my car window and takes my order. 13 minutes past when I started the stop watch I get to the teller. I don't know what he was doing but he would walk away from the register after every customer. None of the four people in front of me that I could see nor I waited for our food when we got to the food window. I drive away with food in hand at 14 minutes, 9 seconds after I stopped at the end of the line. I immediately pop a fry in my mouth and it was warm. Not the "ouch, too hot" it usually is when the fry cook is the bottleneck like it usually is. I ordered from the secret menu this time and had a whole grilled onion on my cheeseburger and it was wonderful. The perfectly toasted bun along with hand shucked lettuce complimented the always excellent burger. The fries were ok. The fries at in-and-out are always variable and today's were average. It is hard to argue with a cheese burger and fries for under five dollars. All in all, expect great food at a great price from In-N-Out but be prepared to wait for it. Longer than normal if you go to the Goleta location. read more

In N Out is definitely one of my favorite places. I'm a Santa Barbara local, but unfortunately I was told they were closed by an employee who seems to if they didn't want to finish their job. I was already in the drive through line when an employee claimed there were closed and then shut off his speaker once we were next in like. This was after a friend from the east coast flew in to town who had never been and I told them how they have to try In N Out because it's so good. This place is my go-to on road trips, after races, and with friends. The burgers are delicious, with juicy patties and mouth-watering-good spread.
