Being from an area that doesn't have an In-N-Out, makes my experience 100x better. I literally CRAVE this when I come out to California. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait til I visited Cali, and to my luck found this little gem last week after being stuck on an overnight layover in Dallas. My husband and I reached our nearby airport hotel this past Sunday at 9:30 pm. It was super shocking to me that SO many places in the Irving/DFW airport area that places closed at 10 pm. So, naturally, I was truly struggling to find a place to eat "late at night". In-N-Out popped up on my search list, and we just could not resist. We got there around 10:15 pm, and shockingly, there were many diners in the restaurant and in the drive thru. We ordered 2 grilled cheeses animal style for both and 1 french fry. I LOVED the burgers!! The fries are ehhh and I've had better, but the burgers make up for the low expectations vs reality situation of the fries. I got a nice root beer to gulp down my food, and it was so refreshing. The employees were really nice as well. Definitely recommend! read more

First time to an In-N-Out Burger came here for a friend who spoke highly of them and hadn't had one in a year. The store was super busy and it had just opened up for lunch. It was okay I'm probably not going to make it a habit but the prices where good, store was clean and the staff was upbeat & friendly. Ordered a Double-Double with a side of fries. I didn't take the typical dressing that goes on one I took mustard on mine. The burgers for me were okay a little salty but good, the cheese made the burger. Fries definitely have that fresh fry taste I like the fresh potato cut look with the peel partial on them. I came here for a friend who hadn't had In-N-Out for a year. I thought I hated in and out burger but I guess I don't. This was a surprisingly good. I got a #2 animal style with no tomatoes and cheese fries with a 7up and pink lemonade mix. The lemonade could be better. My burger was hot and fresh and tasted good. My fries needed some salt and pepper but was still a good cheese fry. Service was fast and friendly. read more

But i will say that this location is always pretty consistent minus one visit i had during off hours where the patty was oversalted to oblivion. But i never had any issues during regular lunch time. Of course everything is cooked to order and they are still relatively speedy about it. This location doesn't get unreasonably packed so its a safe lunch spot. Up at work for 12 hours on a Saturday. I think I earned something different! Back in my days deep in the Mojave Desert, I was introduced to In-N-Out when I had to make some long drives from Ft Irwin down to Ontario and Riverside. The highlight was my tradition of stopping at the In-N-Out in El Cajon Pass. That drive was a beating and reminded me of my work day, so... I noticed as I waited in the line of cars that the palms were all gone. Nothing but huge holes. I guess the Mini Texas Ice Age of February 2021 killed them as it did many plants and water pipes. It was kind of sad. That bit of LA style was gone from the Irving, Texas character. I ordered my usual double double and coke. I don't like their fries and yet to meet anyone that does. The burger was great! Cold stuff cold and hot stuff hot. Cheese you could taste! My only complaint is I wish they would core the tomatoes! All in all, great break for the 12 hour day with a very tasty meal and some memories of the High Mojave. read more

Dining in is the only way to go! After a disappointing visit last visit when we took our order "to go" and ate at the hotel, I told my husband we were dining IN this visit. The food is so much fresher when you dine in. Employees were so friendly and helpful. I got a double double meal, protein style. Love in n out but this location lets me down time and time again. Sucks since it's closest to where I live. Order food w/ a shake then when we pull up to pay doesn't mention the shake then says it's broken. Ok we'll take a Coke instead, go to pick up food doesn't give the drink, I remind them he hands us a drink he has up there, drive off and it's sweet tea. Service is poor at this location. This is one of my favorite hamburger spots. The animal style fries are my favorite not to mention their delicious milk shake. Only issues, is that service takes forever. They need to do their drive through lines, like chick-fil-a does. People do not have 25 minutes to wait in line, especially on a lunch break. read more

Been to this location three times. Once through drive - through, and twice walking in - all for to-go orders. Drive thru is reasonable, but still slower than most drive throughs. The walk-in counter service time is absurd. Each time there was no one in line, so I got my order in right away. Each time it took over 20 minutes for the food. This location has more staff than any in and out I have ever seen, and the business traffic is sub-par to even a drive through only in and out in California, but yet they can't get things done. Truly terribly inefficient for the staff that they have - which was at least 18-23 people from what I saw. read more

Been looking forward to trying In-N-Out Burgers for years. We ate Whataburger, one of our favorite burger spots the night before for comparison. Regarding In-N-Out, we pulled up to a bright and new looking building - reminders of a 50's family style burger joint complete with the employees wearing the white paper Navy style cooking caps. The person at the counter greeted us as we entered the store, even before the doors closed behind us. He generally seemed happy to be working and had a friendly attitude the entire time. In-N-Out has a limited menu similar to 5 guys which usually means better quality food. We ordered the double, single, junior burger and "animal fries" with a chocolate shake. Animal fries are part of their "secret menu". Layered on top of hot french fries, "Animal Style Fries" adds two slices of American cheese, In-N-Out's secret spread, and seasoned grilled onions - Fantastic!! All 3 burgers were cooked to order and came out hot, juicy and seasoned well. The white bun was soft and warm, topped with a full slice of yellow onion, American cheese, ice burg lettuce, tomato and secret spread. Pretty damn well executed fast food burger. Chocolate shake was thick, refreshing and very "chocolatey". This was definitely not Hersheys syrup - it was much better. We concluded that In-N-Out was definitely better that Whataburger on this day. read more

I've come here a couple times with my family and of course, I love it. I will say however, on my second visit there was a hair in my burger and I had to request a new one. I've never experienced that at In-N-Out and they also said they had never experienced that at their location. I believe them and all is forgiven. The replacement burger was a delicious as expected. The staff on the other hand were some of the kindest on earth. I'll be back 'cause that's what you do after you visit In-N-Out. read more

First I want to shout out to a sweet young lady who appears to be new. I believe her name tag shows Kate. This is from a few weeks ago. You're doing a great job!!! There was a man that came in calling her stupid and slow. Being demanding and condescending. Come on, they are understaffed and she is new. Then he has the audacity talking about her to another customer. She can only helped one customer at a time!!! It's not her fault when you are being indecisive. Between Chick-Fil-A and In-N-Out, burgers win and I can tell you why! Yes, they are both Christian and provide excellent customer service. But In-N-Out actually shares the Christian values by adding verse references to the the bottom of their cups, fries boxes, and burger paper wraps. Also, In-N-Out has more options for vegetarian or meat fasting individuals such as their tasty Animal Style Fries (fries with cheese and sauce on them) and the Grilled Cheese (like a burger but no meat: bread buns, cheese, sauce, lettuce, and tomato). Both are found on their secret menu which you can view online. I would choose In-N-Out any day over other fast food! It's so tasty! Yum! read more

Worst drive thru experience in 48 years (how long I've been going to drive thru's) My family has been to this in-and-out burger since it opened in Irving. We normally use the drive thru at lunch at least once/twice per week. The burger is normally consistently good although lukewarm since we drive 15 minutes home to eat. Tonight (6/14/23, 10:36pm-11:06pm), wanted a burger and although McDonald's is a 5 min drive, I drove 15 minutes to in-and-out. Sequence of events: 1. Waited over 30 minutes with probably 15 cars ahead of me. By the time I decided I was crazy to wait this long, I couldn't get out of line. 2. Ordered a double double. Teller repeated and said "onions". I kept repeating NO Onions until the teller finally said NO Onions. 3. Watched another 10 minutes of TikTok, consoling myself thinking 'I'll eat in the parking lot and at least the burger will be hot' 4 Finally reached the cashier, who repeated repeated the order as 'Double Double WITH Onions'. I said again NO Onions. Cashier then said, 'OK, No Onions'. 5. Miraculously, after paying, reached drive thru window from the cashier window in only 5 minutes (only 1 TikTok or so) ! 6. The 2nd window employee said 'How'a your evening. I decided to just say 'Fine'. He then said 'Double Double'?. I said yes and after 2-3 more minutes, I got my burger!!! 7 drove to the fist parking spot to eat. Guess what? ONIONS! And, to top it all off for a wonderful experience, the burger is LUKEWARM! So, I know the burger has been sitting for 20 minutes. How do I know? Remember I've gotten drive thru from here 1-2 times per week for years! Conclusion:, It will be awhile before I try this place again. Even when I break down because I don't want to go inside 5-Guys and try In-And-Out.....I'll starve before going on a Friday night. Condolences to my compatriots in the other 15 cars ahead and I know number behind me who also wasted 30 minutes of their lives to get an incorrect lukewarm order. read more
