I've always wanted to try In-N-Out Burger, but thought they were only in CA! We were in town overnight and saw this pop up on nearby places to eat so we were excited to try it. I got the protein burger (wrapped in lettuce) and OMG! I didn't miss the bun at all! It was so, so good. The lettuce was so crisp and fresh! Hubby got a regular cheeseburger and said it was the best one he's ever had. I also got a pink lemonade which was so tasty! Now I know why I always hear such good things about this place. I was warmly greeted by one of their staff and I decided to get their cheeseburger protein style, a medium French fry, and a light lemonade. While waiting for my food I went to the restroom and crazy me spilled my lemonade all over the floor. While trying to clean it I made an even bigger mess, so I went to the counter and told them what happened. The staff didn't even blink an eye and were more concerned about getting me a new cup for a new drink than what happened. I was so thankful for them and their phenomenal service! As a frequent and repeat customer, I am unsure I will be returning. My family ordered 5 burgers and fries through the drive thru tonight and to say we were horridly disappointed is a gigantic understatement. I am generally a very patient person and understand mistakes happen, but tonight's service and product were a major screwup! 1. I plainly ordered our burgers and fries in a very clear manner, saving my order for the end as I'm gluten intolerant and order it "protein style" with some accomodations. I ordered everything well done as usual. When the order taker repeated it, I had to remind him it was protein style due to an allergy to which he apologized. Everything was still fine. 2. We drove to the window and I asked him if they were well done to which he acted like it was the first time he heard that. He double checked and said they were. 3. After waiting for at least 7 minutes (no biggy), he gave us one box with our burgers. I asked him if my GF burger was in there; he said yes. I told him it shouldn't be touching bread. He asked if I wanted it redone. Umm...by this time there was a line and we had been there 10 minutes and I was irritated. I told him no, just get me a bag. 4. Prior to leaving as a heads up I advised they pay special attention to gluten allergies and separate the product. He told me he knows but he just didn't hear me say that. Well, if there is an In and Out manager reading this, you need to rethink who you place at the order counter because there was no excuse for him not to know as I had to correct him upon the initial order. If this franchise were in California, this would be a lawsuit waiting to happen! 5. We left and thought, "well at least we can enjoy fresh fries, hot out of the oil". WRONG...they were hot and soaked with grease, floppy and burned. 6. I ate around the top part that touched the bread but my stomach still hurts. Oh...and the icing on the cake? Being from Wisconsin, I've wanted to try an In-N-Out for while now. A friend mentioned that it HAD to be tried before leaving Dallas. It was pretty good. Nice friendly people. The guy doing fries looked like he was assembling sushi, so precise. Fries were fresh, and cooked great. Sweet tea was, well, sweet. Burger was good. My favorite place for fast food burgers! The ingredients always taste fresh and made to order. I come at all hours and mostly off the lunch/dinner rush and the food is still fresh! The prices are a tad bit more expensive than the typical fast food burger joint but I think it is well worth it for the quality of the burger. Fries are different from other places and people either love it or hate it. I personally like them and they're not as salted as most places. Instead they provide a salt packet for you to add as you wish. TIPS: If you want to cut the carbs - ask for your burger protein style to replace your burger buns with lettuce. In-N-Out is an extremely polarizing western chain. Especially in Texas, where there are a lot of die hard What-a-Burger fanatics. I am a fan of both, and don't really believe that liking one or the other is mutually exclusive. In-N-Out is known for their simplistic direct menu, and while I like variety, the fact that everything on their menu is executed perfectly each time is reassuring. I typically opt for a 4x4, tomato, lettuce, onion, grilled onions, chopped peppers, pickles, American cheese, mustard fried patties, and an extra side of spread. I do always order a side of fries, but as most other reviewers have mentioned, these are extremely basic. Many other fast food restaurants flavor their fries, with either beef tallow or beef flavoring (extracts), and then follow that up with either high fructose corn syrup or some other other sugary substance. The sugar tends to improve the color, and exterior crispiness of the fry. The fries at In-N-Out are au naturel, russet potatoes that are simply fried in sunflower oil (a favorite neutral oil of mine). Which is also a great source of polyunsaturated fats. Service here is always top notch, and they clearly run a tight ship. I also find the pricing to be extremely fair-minded. If you do like their "spread", make sure to grab a packet of it. While I wish they'd allow you to get the meat done medium rare, that's simply not an option at the current time. It does come out juicy, but nearing well done. In-N-Out is a welcome Californian addition to the North Texas restaurant scene, and while I hope to see The Habit Burger Grill and Togo's, I'm not quite sure Texas is ready yet. read more

We have been to this location several times as it's the one closest to our home. Each time we eat here it's always pleasant and we leave full and happy. The place is always clean and the lobby is well stocked which is a lot better than many fast food places these days. The employees are always welcoming and knowledgeable when it comes to some of the unusual choices of off the menu concoctions the company offers those willing to step out of the norm. We've always enjoyed the quality of the food and we've never had an experience where it's been less than great. I fully admit I am a picky eater and have experienced many times restaurants totally getting my order wrong. This place is always spot on when it comes to getting our orders right. The fries are always one of my favorite things. I often crave these fries between visits. They are the fries that all fries should be judged against. I think the fact they cut and make them fresh in the store really makes a difference. We highly recommend this location and look forward to our next visit. read more

Hard to give these guys any less than a 5. The food is best eaten in the restaurant as it seems to taste less wonderful when it sits in bag and taken home. I've come to this location maybe three times now. Every time that I have come the service is exceptional. These young workers work quickly and efficiently and some how stay friendly even when busy. I generally get the cheeseburger and animal style fries and a drink. Food always comes out in a reasonable amount of time. Soda fountains have never been out of syrup when I filled my drink and even their bathrooms seem pretty clean for a fast food joint.
