We been here many times over the years as it's the go to place when it comes to hamburgers as that's their specialty. We've also been to the one NW of downtown. For the most, they're all good as it's hard to go wrong with burgers and fries, as long as the ingredients are fresh. Last night, I went with the guys from our church. It's all good as it's still a solid 4 stars. I just have 2 comments. I got the Saddle Up as I tried to order something different each time as I've had more than 50% of their selections over the years. So what intrigued me was adding the eggs as that the way I make them from home many years ago before it was a thing. So the thick bacon, that was more like pork belly as it was thick and a bit chewy, and definitely very fat. I think would have enjoyed it more as thinner, crispy bacons next time. Then there's the description of 2 smash patties. I was told that it's just one standard patties, so in the picture, you can see I just paid extra to get 2nd patties. Smash patties would've been tastier, so that was a slight let down. Overall, I finished but with 2 regular sized patties, and the so called thick bacon, it was quite greasy as my pan was covered in oil. As an advice, maybe check with the waiter to see if they do indeed have smash patties as that's would've been a 5 star for sure. In my opinion, this is one of the more unique Rodeo Goat locations - right on the water in the Cypress Waters development (which is really closer to Coppell and Irving than Dallas). Sitting on the covered patio, having a burger, and just hanging with the ducks, turtles and other wildlife is as mellow as it gets. Oh, and the food ain't too shabby either. A roster of "themed" burgers, plus some vegetarian options, salads, etc. We've been several times and the vibe, music, and food have always been top-notch. I see a few dissatisfied customer reviews here and I get it - just about any restaurant can have an off day. Ordered takeout here for myself and my daughter (2 years old). Service was quick and to-the-point, the dining room gives you the classic diner/burger-joint feel. This is a great spot for a good quality burger. Came here for the first time in June 2025 visiting family for a big event. My hubby and I came here just the two of us and they sat us on a large booth as we wanted to be by the window and it was too hot to sit outside. The outside patio is so inviting though bc it has a nice view out to a large pond that is connected with the apartments surrounding the restaurant too. This was my first time to this location. I have only ever been to the one in Ft Worth near 7th. It doesn't have the same type of atmosphere. Frankly it looks a heck of a lot like the Flying Fish next door, of you aren't looking too close. It just seems to be missing a bit of personality. My friend and I came in to get the promotional Radio burger which they donated some of the proceeds to our local PBS station after they lost federal funding. Burgers and a good cause, we were in! The burgers were pretty good, however we both asked for the prickly pear BBQ sauce on the sice, which was a good choice. Neither of us were mad about it and it just stayed on the side. The service was JUST ok and the price point is really high. $14 for a burger without fries is a lot. They do big burgers with some crazy ingredients, but they aren't better than other burgers in the area. Though they are more expensive. Burgers are big business and there are tons of options. The food is GREAT if it's delivered to your table hot. I like that this location has patio seating overlooking the water. We had a party of 3 this Friday around 8:30. My fiancé and I arrived first. We were told by a host we could sit wherever we liked inside. We sat at a booth- it was not super busy, there were several open tables. We were sitting at a booth for over 7 minutes before anyone came to greet us or acknowledge us at all. Finally when a server came by to drop off napkins and utensils there was no eye contact, no mention of bringing us waters or menus.. nothing. Several other small groups of people came in and were immediately greeted by servers, given menus, waters etc. We were dressed in business casual clothing, pleasant and were hoping to grab a beer before our guest arrived. We waited so long for menus and water we didn't get anything until we had been sitting down for well over 15 minutes. It was really hot when we came, so we couldn't sit outside, but there were tables and high-tops inside to choose from. The decorations and theme were super fun -- it was loud and casual. Service was the weak point of this experience. It was self-seating, so it kinda felt like we were initially ignored or forgotten by the staff, even after smiling, making eye contact, and waving at someone. It looked like there were a lot of waitstaff, but only one gentleman (Tramaine) was running around and helping the tables. He took our order and checked up on us periodically, so he was actually great; but I'm not even sure if we were technically in his section because it felt like he was running around the entire restaurant and I remember thinking that the others should be helping more. As a result, service was a bit slow; but I can't fault Tramaine for that as it was a pretty busy evening. Overall, it was a good experience! We really enjoyed the food and thought the theming was nice. The restaurant is also located in a nice plaza where you can walk around afterwards to get some fresh air and digest. LOL. read more

Great ambiance, beautiful lake view. I had the Sundance kid burger, and the beef patty tasted weird. It's probably just me, but the burger was not it for me. The bacon and fried cheese on it were good. I ordered the cheese fries surprise, and honestly should've gotten just that. It was absolutely amazing. The brisket chili is amazing! The fries were great, and they put a bunch of cheese on top. The bacon crumbles were just the perfect touch. Absolutely delicious and makes me want to go back to try other items on the menu. At my custom with a bacon and cheeseburger with all the toppings, you can think of for vegetables along with mustard, mayo, and ketchup and a side of tater tots! It was so good.
