This review is coming from the perspective of a commuter. I always pass by this In-N-Out when coming home from Disneyland. On nights when traffic hits and I am hungry, I hop off to get dinner. It can get confusing on which exit to get off from and this particular time, it felt like a maze getting there. The line is not too long and I managed to get to my order in about 10 mins. For context, I usually order my go-to protein style burger because I'm a big lettuce guy -- I load it up with extra lettuce and extra chopped chilis every time. This time I decided to switch it up and go with buns instead, plus fries extra crispy (because when In-N-Out fries hit, they HIT). When I was ordering, the cashier seemed a bit unsure how to ring in buns for a protein style order and suggested I just order a Double-Double and add extra lettuce. Cool, I trusted the process. Unfortunately, when the burger came out, it had one single leaf of lettuce not exactly the lettuce party I was hoping for. Now let's talk about the fries. Both my fries and my sister's were super salty -- like, aggressively salty. I don't know if they were end-of-the-batch fries or if the salt shaker slipped, but it was way more than usual. Normally, I actually love In-N-Out fries and never have this issue, but this time they were so salty that we honestly couldn't finish them and ended up tossing them, which almost never happens for us. My sister ordered a single burger with grilled onions and chopped chilis, plus Animal Style fries. The burger came out missing the chopped chilis, and her fries had the same salt overload going on. Flavor-wise, the burgers themselves were still decent, but the little misses definitely added up. We were in Buena Park and the Anaheim, Block of Orange and surrounding In-n-Outs are ghetto. I was hesitant going to La Mirada since living in OC we stay away from Los Angeles like the plague. If you want to get robbed, beaten and left for dead visit Los Angeles. Because of the great Yelp reviews I trusted the risky move. Once again Yelp wins again this was an excellent In-n-Out with great workers, plenty of seating a wonderful crowd with an easy parking lot. Well, this In N Out location has redeemed itself. A couple years ago, they started this habit of constantly burning the buns (not toasting, BURNING) and overcooking the fries. The food should NOT turn out like this UNLESS you specifically ask for "extra toasty" buns or "well done" fries. If those words did not come out of the customer's mouth, the buns should not be all hard and black, and the fries should not be dry, hard, and flavorless. "Why not just ask for light toast and light fries?"... Because that is just as gross as overcooking it and it's all soggy.... I shouldn't have to do that to begin with. Just make it the NORMAL way. After sending food back multiple times here, I just decided to start reporting them to corporate. And after I'd do this, they'd straighten out and start making the food correctly... for a couple weeks and then go right back to burning the buns and overcooking the fries.... So I'd report them again. This repeated like 3 or 4 times and after I reported them the last time, I did notice some change in staffing and have not ended up with burnt buns or overcooked fries in well over a year at this point. Got there about 30 minutes before closing and the staff was the sweetest. They didn't rush us at all and they were all very friendly and lively. You can tell when people enjoy their jobs. I LOVE IN N OUT. This location is behind the freeway, kinda hidden behind the Halloween store. The blonde lady who took my order was so kind! She had a beautiful smile. The restrooms were clean. Our order took less than 10 minutes dining in. The drive thru line goes around the back of the building, and there is clear signage. Parking is not too bad. What a gem in the neighborhood, so many times have driven past this location and maybe stopped once to use the restroom I finally stopped to eat here. First off the service and attitude of the people here is so awesome it's sad this location isn't right next to my house. I'm close to the Alhambra-Pasadena Huntington Dr. location location which isn't bad but not nearly as awesome as this location. Burgers was cooked perfectly with fresh vegetables and grilled onions making it a real treat. The French fries were a bit stale and old but we did come late but because I was so focused on awesome customer service it didn't even bother me. Parking ample around the building and a well a well am aged drive thru. We are officially regulars here from now on whenever we are driving back from Disneyland! I highly recommend this treasure of an establishment and extremely jealous I can just eat here everyday! read more

It's a pretty typical In-N-Out, and as with most of the other locations, it is typically quite busy. You can't beat the burgers here, and the shakes are especially good. The prices are also quite reasonable. I recently ordered a cheeseburger for only $3.75 and a chocolate shake for an additional $2.85. This is a hearty meal. I usually ask for "whole grilled onion" instead of the raw onions. You can also asked for grilled onions "chopped". They will gladly customize your burger according to your specifications. read more

I ordered a dbl dbl and a hamburger patty with no salt for my dogs, and when I was feeding it to my dogs, I tasted a little piece and it had a lot of salt. I never thought I would ever write a bad review, but tonight I experienced the most impatient and rushed service from a drive-thru employee. When I drove up to the window, the girl practically threw my drinks at me--not literally, but it felt that way. I had to stop her and ask, "Can I please have a drink holder?" She didn't respond, just handed it to me and said, "Here." Before I even had a chance to place my drinks in the holder, she abruptly asked if I wanted ketchup. I replied, "Can I please get ketchup and spread?" She responded rudely and loudly, asking, "How many?" I said, "Two," and again she grabbed the bag of food by the tip and handed it to me, saying, "Here!" This particular location gets busy during lunchtime--picks up business from the 5 fwy and local business parks. When comes dinner, business slows down. It's strange to not see a beeline of cars at the drive-thru. I usually order in for take-out and the wait isn't bad. Just For Kids: If you have kids, make sure to ask for their Scratch & Smell sticker activity.
