This is one of my favorite spots for a teriyaki bowl or plate. I usually get the beef bowl or beef plate and always add avocado -- they give a really generous amount, along with plenty of meat and rice, so it feels like a great deal for the price. I also love that they have bottles of extra teriyaki sauce and sriracha out for you to use. The beef has a nice BBQ char flavor that makes it stand out from other teriyaki places. The service is always good and quick, and you can tell the employees take their job seriously. Everything runs efficiently, even during busy lunch hours. This is definitely more of a casual lunch spot, but they have a lot of seating which makes it comfortable to dine in. Solid portions, good flavor, and consistent every time. When we are craving teriyaki chicken, this place does not disappoint. It has a nice roasted charcoal flavor, although some bits get a little too charred at times. The large chicken plate is big enough for two decent-sized meals or one big one if you're hungry. The plate doesn't feel as much of a value as the large bowl, honestly, unless you really like salad that you'd pay the difference for it. They have roasted and lightly seasoned jalapeño peppers by the register that you can bite and eat with your bowl if you like extra fire and crunch. Just be warned--some of them are quite spicy compared to others. They have a lot of other items like loaded fries, burgers, burritos and other protein options like fish, shrimp and beef (but we think the chicken tastes the best). The one thing I ordered today that I would probably never get again is their California roll. It was not a good sign when they dropped the order in my bag so quickly after ordering. It was premade, kind of hard, dry, and cold like market sushi but worse. They majorly skimp on wasabi and ginger inclusions and the rice wasn't seasoned well. The filling was much less than I'm used to seeing in these rolls (lots of rice) and the tiny sliver of avocado in each was ridiculous; it was just a poorly balanced roll. 12/31/25 I had to make a decision on NYE dinner on the way back from work. I decided to try this place out. I placed my order online a few hours before so I could just pick it up at 515p. When I got there, the line was half way before the exit. I found the side pick up window to inform of my order. Unfortunately, it was not ready due to the French fries side. I ended up waiting another 15mins past due time but I appreciated them not packing my fries early. The cashier was friendly and efficient at churning through the line before closing. When a bag that resembled my order came out, I approached the counter for pick up. Ir was indeed mine. The nice lady handed me my bag. I packed a couple of jalapeños and was on the way home. When I opened the boxes for a photo, I was simply amazed at how beautiful it all was. The flavor, presentation and portion size was amazing. My whole family enjoyed it and had enough extra for another meal. Special kudos for staff who actually read the notations for special instructions!! Highly recommended and will definitely return. Oh my gosh. I will be eating this chicken and beef plate for the next 3 days it is SO MUCH FOOD!! Some places count on their portions making up for the quality--not Teriyaki House Grill. Don't order a large anything because you'll need a wheelbarrow to get home. The food is incredible and there's often a deal on the major food delivery apps as well (at least there has been the last 3 times we've ordered.) One small thing to note: I usually skip the added vegetables because they're an extra $4 which is a bit pricey in my opinion. The portion sizes are also great. I've been ordering the Terayaki fries from this place over 10 times thus far through DoorDash and I noticed that at times they do not fill up the plate with fries and chicken/terayaki. They have different sizes ranging from bowl to plate, you can choose from beef and/or chicken, and they have steamed veggies, rice, or salad for your bedding. The sizes are quite large, I went with a basic bowl and almost didn't finish. The quality of the meat was better than most other teriyaki places that I've been, and I really liked that I could just have meat and veggies and skip the rice - not every place offers this without some sort of up charge. The place is clean, the staff as friendly, and there's plenty of seating. We started coming here a few months ago bc it's right by our house and my husband actually liked it. The first 2 times it was great. We usually get the beef and chicken bowl which only comes in a large . The first 2 times there was enough for both of us to have dinner and a little left over but last time it seemed a little smaller and meat quality wasn't as good . I thought maybe it was a fluke but just went tonight and the container has definitely shrank. This is enough for dinner but no extra. And the meat , not good . I've been a big fan of this place for a long long time. I always get the same thing. The service is usually pretty good and the food is pretty good all that changed today. I ordered a chicken burrito with avocado which they charge me $2.50 for. I brought the burrito up to the counter at the halfway mark because I have not seen any avocado. Some girl behind the counter claimed that there was avocado in it, but I couldn't see any and by the time I finished it there wasn't a tiny bit of avocado. I went back up and told them that they charged me for avocado, but didn't give me any and they angrily told me that they did. Not very nice to be treated this way at a place that you like by crappy people behind the counter. You just lost a loyal customer tonight. if you read this and you're the general manager of the owner, you need to have a chat with your employees because they are very, very dishonest and will lie bold faced to you.
