3 X 3 Animal Style with Cheese French Fries shaken in ketchup up! Yummmm
    Sarah B.

Absolutely scrumptious!!! I got the 3 by 3 animal style with grilled onions only and it's TOTALLY my go to!!! If the fries look a little strange it's because I have a habit where their cheese fries, take 2 to 3 of their ketchup's, salt, then I flip it upside down, close it, and shake it up and eat it with fries. Sounds gross to some, but to me? The perfecttttt cheesy ketchup goodness! The service is profoundly good!!! They are always so happy and I love the happiness that spreads the energy kind of similar to Dutch bros! You can tell they love their job and it shows and we love that! This one is good because there is room for the line and it doesn't go out to the street usually! They have it structured very nicely lots of seating, hair conditioning was superb! And it's a wonderful location!! Love In and Out, and this one is a keeper!

We stopped in on our way to Tahoe. I had seen the secret vegan menu on fb a few days before so I was happy to try that while my hubby had a double double- we each had fries. Everyone was friendly, the cashier made sure mine stayed vegan without the thousand island dressing, she said they made that with egg. The drive thru line was long, but we were able to order and get a seat in a timely manner before our order was ready. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here as a vegan- but I appreciate that they have an option There was a team member out wiping down tables and checking on the dinning room while we were there.

Double Double with Grilled Onions and added Mustard

My family and I stopped in at this In n Out location on Thursday while driving through to our camping location. The inside was pretty busy, but it was clean and staff were friendly. We ordered 3 meals and my burger and fries were both cooked better than most of the locations I've been to. I usually order a Double Double with grilled onions and added mustard. The fries were hot and crispy and the burger had the perfect amount of ratio of veggies and meat/cheese. I still think that In n Out is one of the cheapest fast food places - plus you can't beat the quality of the food. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through!

Always busy but you get your order. Food is fresh and delicious. I can't complain. Parking can't be difficult but there's plenty. The ambience is busy but pleasant.

Crunched on this bone in the burger patty, and raw fries

This place is so inconsistent, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's really bad. The other day they messed up our order so bad, we ended up throwing it away. The french fries were not cooked (like hard raw) the "grilled" onions were also raw. The modification we made to each burger was wrong. We tried to eat one of the burgers and found a bone inside, which was so off-putting the whole meal was ruined. They pride themselves on being open late night, but if you show up late, this is the kind of food you get. Will not be back, yuck!

Double Double Animal Style ($5.95): chilies, protein style & Fry ($2.40)

Date: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 Time: around 7pm Meal: Dinner Takeout How Ordered: Drive Thru *Double Double Animal Style ($5.95): chilies, protein style *Fry ($2.40) The hubby and I were driving home and I was hungry. I wanted to burger without the bun, so we decided to stop by In-N-Out. I typically stay away from In-N-Outs since the drive thru line is always insanely long. Luckily, it moved fast at this location and it only took about 15 mins. My burger was delicious as expected. Juicy, melty, savory. Since I was eating it in the car, they wrapped it and put it in a box. The hubs didn't want to deal with trying to eat a burger while driving so he had the order of fries. They were crispy, but didn't taste like much. Definitely needed some more salt. Great option when I want a bunless burger. Just wish their fries were better. REVIEW #3618

This In N Out has been one of my favorites in the greater Sacramento area since I was a teenager. I stopped by today after hiking Sly Park, and ordered a double double animal style (I was so hungry I actually forgot to ask for extra tomatoes) and an animal fry with extra grilled onions and an extra sauce packet on the side. I wanted a Neapolitan shake, but good thing I didn't order one, since I was barely able to finish the burger and fries. All of the staff were friendly and fast. The food was as bomb as I expected it to be-- hot, fresh, and delicious. The drive through line moved relatively quickly. I also ended up going inside to use the restroom, and noticed that everything looked clean and well stocked. I always seem to have great experiences at this location, and will keep coming back whenever I'm in the area. I don't know of many restaurants where you can still eat this good for about ten bucks!

This is the only fast food we can eat. There's always a line and it's for a good reason. The value is exactly what it should be and my daughter loves it. Especially the stickers they always offer her. Bob the kind elder that busses always offers us paper hats. We love watching the sunset from here too.

My husband and I were craaavinnggg In-N-Out the other day. Now that we live in the foothills, we're thankful that there's a location in Placerville as it's the closest city that has one. We also hadn't sat down to eat inside an In-N-Out in years as we've always gotten the food to go. The line was short when we arrived and the workers were very efficient with taking orders. We were able to order in less than 5 minutes of waiting. In about 10 min or so, our food was ready! And honestly, if we aren't in a rush to go anywhere, I would totally sit down and eat again. There's something about enjoying In-N-Out in the nostalgic atmosphere of the restaurant that makes the food taste even better (and of course the food is extra fresh). Our burgers were juicy and the fries were the perfect texture. If you like chilies, I highly recommend them for the burger, plus they are free. We've only ever gotten animal fries (they're the best kind, if you go to In-N-Out and don't get animal fries, what are you doing?). It wasn't too loud inside even though there were quite a few people. We came on a Saturday as well, and it was a beautiful day outside, so most people were eating at the outdoor tables. The workers were attentive about cleaning tables and sweeping the floor after each party left, and I was pleased with my experience. All in all, you've got the classic flavors of In-N-Out in a very clean, bright setting. Definitely one of the nicer In-N-Outs I've been to!

The proteins have a semblance of flavor, if you call grease a flavor. The beans are fighting a battle against the salsas for the title of Most Bland and Watery. Well it's a fast food place, after all, what do we expect? We come here to get food, fast. Except it's typically not fast at all. "Oh, there's only a few people in line sweet", you might proclaim. Wrong. You're looking at a 5-10m per car wait, my friend. Hope you brought a snack. This has been going on for years. So why am I just now writing this? Well it's National Burrito Day and this fine handheld food deserves to be celebrated, not degraded in the way one has been prepared this fateful day Today this author ordered a Casa Burrito w no Rice, Carnitas, and Green Sauce. It seems like they took the "no rice" part as a sign I'm on a skinny trend because when I tell you I got the saddest burrito ever.. I couldn't even believe it. This tortilla could have been cut in half and saved for later with the amount of fillings I received. As it was received, there were two ends of meat with a gap in the middle. I opened it up and ripped a bunch of excess tortilla off and present to you the results of that before and after. The lack of carnitas is where it really hurts. As the pictures will attest, what we experienced here was a masterful symphony of beans where the onions took center stage and the carnitas was directed to accompany only infrequently for support. For $15 I reckon I'd have been much better off putting actual pants on so I could get of the car at the carniceria down the way.

I was hungry, so suggested stopping by Carl's Jr on the way back. I used their app to place the order and we picked it up inside. Luckily they had a 20% off deal that day on the app. Pickup was pretty easy. They had everything ready when I got here. Tho I wanted more sauces after checking our order. It took a while to flag someone down as there was no one behind the counter. I wanted a lettuce wrap burger which is why I picked Carl's Jr. We ate in the car while driving and everything was wrapped nicely for doing so. The hubs western bacon cheeseburger was as expected. I don't know if I've tried the jalapeno burger before, but it was sooo salty! It needed something like onions to cut into it. The chicken tenders were nicely fried as were the poppers. I didn't try the crisscut fries, but they seemed fine. Convenient if traveling to or from Tahoe as it's only an hour away. REVIEW #3623

The sandwiches were a little underwhelming based on the reviews and the price point. I tried the char siu and meat lovers sandwiches which were both on nicely grilled Texas toast. The flavor of the char siu sandwich reminded me of cake noodle and beef broccoli because of the ramen noodles and the overall flavor of the sauce. I didn't get any of the bamboo shoots in the sandwich or maybe they were chopped really small? The char siu was decent, not super tender and not the typical char siu flavor but it wasn't bad. The meat lovers sandwich had a noticeable sweet flavor I'm assuming from the spaghetti sauce but it really lacked depth. It honestly reminded me of canned spaghetti and a sloppy joe. It also seemed like there was no ranch dressing even though it's part of the sandwiches name. I appreciate the creativity and whimsy they've put into their menu. I just don't think the execution and flavor profiles are where they should be.
