This particular location is a place where I expect the long waits, even inside the restaurant the weight was many minutes. And when I got my hamburger, it was cooked far too well - almost hard - and no cheese was on the burger. And when my number had been called, they didn't include the milkshake. Came to this location after I went to the Earth Day celebration in Wilmington. It's busy but doesn't seem as crowded as the Torrance locations where it's a nightmare to snag a table on Sunday for lunch. Service is great. The bread bun was a little bit burnt, but otherwise the food was fine. Unfortunately, there was some kind of defect with the scratch n sniff stickers they handed out for the kids, and they didn't stick at all. read more

This location is very unprofessional, the 2 employees working drive through had us waiting in line to order just for us to get to the front of the line and say "we're about to close we can't service you" and when we said we had been waiting in line since before closing the one worker let us through. I think the drive through female worker was unprofessional to tell her coworker "you folded" right in front of us because the gentlemen allowed us through in the line. To top it off we weren't given our drinks, we weren't given utensils, and our food was thrown in the bag and was all over the bags. I like when people come to visit and this is one of the things they wanna go to, but I understand it's growing up happy staying a family business and not being franchised out and mutilated. This is an iconic brand and they pay and treat their employees really well and it shows in the food quality service cleanliness. In-N-Out Burgers, San Pedro, is my go-to for burgers and my late-night snack attack. I usually go for the Double-Double, French Fries, and water with a lemon wedge (much better than soda). All of this for still less than $10. While I don't think In-n-Out has the best burgers I've ever eaten, I like that it isn't pretentious, is always focused on keeping things simple, and delivering good-quality food at affordable prices. In fact, their burgers are better than many that cost 2 to 3 times as much. Fries aren't great. But if you eat the fries within 5 minutes of them coming out of the fryer, they actually taste great. I just wanted to give a short review of a recent dining experience (I go to this location at least once a week via their drive thru). I try to go out on Veterans Day for the numerous- discounted or free meals/entrees and was happily surprised to see that In-N-Out participates (but to make sure I called beforehand- corporate and they said- Yes- it's honored at all locations). So I ordered a "Double Double Meal Combo" with the included Extra Large Root Beer- I also ordered an extra frie- so I just paid for the extra friend. Upon paying- I was asked to provide proof of military service- so I showed the associate a copy of my DD-214. Granted I ordered via drive thru but I know that the ambiance in the restaurant is very good- since I've dined in on numerous occasions. This is more a review for the drive through. It is a nightmare! They only have cones in the part where they take your order, it should be extended. There are cars waiting in all directions in the parking lot, where there can be a clear line formation but it is not done. I drive to the Carson location just because drive through is so much more organized and planned out. read more

They need a better quality assurance. Every single time i order well done animal fries they are like extra soggy, rootbeer float there is always way too much ice cream, i asked for less ice cream today and more soda and its like they put a drop of ive cream in it cant even taste it bums me out cause s when i go to OC not only is it cheaper than this location but they get your order right every time vs being disappointed every time closer to home. This has been an issue at this location for years it seems like they will refuse to accommodate requests. Service at this location is always friendly and efficient. I'm trying to cut back on the carbs, so my favorite order is a double-double, protein style, with whole raw onion and extra tomato. I take it home, plate it, and eat it like a salad. People that complain about the long lines in the drive-thru probably don't understand the many ways one can customize their order. Like many chain restaurants in San Pedro, this In-N-Out is notably worse than others in LA. It drives me nuts that they randomly fill orders out of sequence. People who order twice as much food from several places behind you in line get preference while your order sits unfilled. Recently, they even lost my order. The service is great! The workers (kids) always have a smile and are willing to take your order and get it right. I have come here more than a dozen times. The food is, for the most part is good and what to expect from In n Out. There have been times issues with the food. Like a top being not secured on one of my shakes that led to a spill. Also, the fries not being cooked enough. However, all these issues were resolved with a gift card for future orders. The guarantee for their food or satisfaction is great. I have always liked and enjoyed In n Out burgers by myself or with friends and family. It is the memories also not just the food that makes this place great. Employees were nice, and food was great per usual *except* whoever made our animal style fries did not heat up the cheese slice as they should have. Very slow Thursday evening. Placed my order at 10:37 according to my receipt. Did not get my food until 11:10. Absolutely ridiculous. it was not a large order. One double double with animal style fries. I'm not sure if this is indicative of poor management or just poor employees, but it shows a complete lack of respect for peoples time. It should not have taken nearly that long for one meal to be prepared. And once they realize how long I had been waiting, I was offered a very meek apology. Absolutely fuming. read more
