Went to this place for the first time Monday 6/15/26, ordered this breakfast sandwich special came with mozzarella sticks that were to die for. My co-worker ordered chicken strips union rings. They actually forgot something in the order, the OWNER was there working and brought out EXTRAZ!!!!! OMG like this place was the best burger food frise drinks that ive had in a long ass time. This place is good. It's reliable. In the past the customer service was pretty slow but the last time I went through the drive thru it was not as bad and the girl at the drive thru was actually really nice. There used to be someone who had no personality. The food is good. Not amazing, but good enough for the prices. I usually get the hamburgers or the club sandwich combos. Not bad. The prices for this place have become ridiculous! I would come here for ranch dressing which used to be 50c for a small little container. Now they're a dollar! A 100% increase! The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is a typical diner with unique group of customers who seem to be regulars. I live about 3 miles away and made a trip to Troy's Burgers. I clearly ordered a burger with only ketchup and dressing because my son is intolerant to cheese. When he took a bite, it had cheese on it. When I called, they told me I ordered it with cheese, but in the picture you can clearly see it says only ketchup and dressing. Instead of fixing it, they asked me to bring the burger back after we had already thrown it away. We ended up going somewhere else. Food Poisoning - Be Careful My two children (ages 5 and 6) and ate here on Feb 13 th 2026 around 6:00 PM and ordered a hamburger and cheeseburger with fries Within about 13 hours (around 7:00 AM the next morning) both kids woke up vomiting and had severe diarrhea. Both kids got sick after eating the same food, and the symptoms were consistent with foodborne illness. This was very upsetting and exhausting -- no one should have to see young children that sick after a meal out. I've reported this to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health so it can be investigated. I'm sharing this review to help other families be aware and for the restaurant to address any food safety issues. Unfortunately we won't be returning. read more

This place is Fantabulous!!! Ordered their DUI Burger (very first try, never heard of it prior to) and Onion Rings. When ai say there was no disappointment at all and that the DUI Burger is one for the Age's as well as the Book's?! You can bet on that. For starters. The DUI Burger comes with two Beef Patties with Cheese. Lettuce Tomatoes Onion Chili Pastrami Bacon (got mines without it) Sauce and Avocado. All fresh and very delicious. The Onion Rings were just as Fantabulous. Seasoned Hot Large Crispy with the right amount of breading (panko style) and a side of Ranch that sufficed the entire meal. The service was cordial professional and friendly. The diner was clean and the ambiance was that this food don't play. Ran into someone who was walking out and we chatted and he thoroughly vouched for their food. And ai am a witness now and can see why. First time I've been at this place. Born and raised in San Pedro but I saw something on social media talking about this fantastic hamburger that Troys serves up. It's called the colossal burger so I had to try it. This was the best hamburger I've ever had in my life! Pastrami and a cheeseburger all in one. Enough food for two people. I loved it! After spending the day at white point - we were looking for a burger spot and actually found this place on yelp! My daughter ordered the steak sandwich meal - I ordered a pastrami and for the kids we got them a Jr. burger and a corn dog with fries and a drink- My daughter's first bite into her steak sandwich was like Oh wow this is so flavorful and tender. My pastrami was perfect! So delicious! The kids meals? Well we asked them and they were quiet eating while on the way home- then they both said the food was so good. Have always loved this place. To me, (and it's a personal decision) they have THEE best fried zucchini in town. Yeah, I know it's not good for my cholesterol levels but hot diggity, it's good!!! Savory, slightly salty and fried to perfection. Every. Stinking. Time. Burgers, salads etc., are always on point as well. Ordered a bacon cheese burger combo today, came to $18 and some change. Fries were good (as always) and so was the bacon on my burger. The bun tasted stale and the patties they use now are super thin, dry, and not seasoned at all. You can have a better burger at a similar price at a sit down restaurant. I got the combo and upgraded the french fries to the chili cheese fries The chili is homemade and spicy and delicious. They have lots of other great items. Love coming here in the mornings and getting one of their breakfast burritos or ham & cheese melts because they are delicious!! And their fries are actually pretty amazing too. I've never come here and experienced sub par service. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Definitely my go to spot for breakfast choices. When visiting, I've only ever used the drive thru and when the line is getting too long, employees even come out to the car to take your order so they can get it started for you while you're in line waiting. That's what I call great customer service. I'll have to remember to take a photo of my food the next time I visit because honestly it's so good that I immediately get to eating lol.
