If your looking for a big old school diner burger this is the spot. Everything was what we expected it to be the service was fast also. The food came out steaming hot we took it to go and it was still hot when we got home the pastrami burger is my favorite so far my wife loved the double cheese burger. Chili cheese fries were great might add extra cheese next time

Lomita's Best is a classic diner located in Lomita. The restaurant has the old school diner setup and was pretty empty when I came here on a weekday morning. Yes there's a drive-thru for anyone who doesn't want to step outside of their cars. My order was ready in less than 5 minutes. [Parking]: Easy and free private parking lot. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted item is breakfast burrito, but they sell classic American breakfast, omelettes, hot cakes, egg sandwiches, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, burritos, salads, and Mexican salads. Their breakfast burrito and egg sandwiches are served all day. *** Sausage breakfast burrito ($10.99): The burrito had pretty basic and boring ingredients, but it was quite a satisfying breakfast burrito with enough portion to split in half & I saved the other half for lunch. Salsa itself tasted alright but it worked well with the burrito. *** Efficient service, generous portion, and surprisingly decent tasting breakfast burrito. Not the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, but I see this place as one of those everyday breakfast spot in town.

Blueberry pancakes and ribeye steak and eggs. Definitely hit the spot

I had a craving for blueberry pancakes and saw this place because all the other places were closed. I have to say I'm not impressed by much but Lomita's Best suprised me a bit. Ordered the ribeye steak and eggs with a side of blueberry pancakes. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the eggs were also cooked perfectly over medium which most places usually mess up. And the pancakes were loaded with actual blueberries. Everything was great! The only thing is that the condiments on the table were sticky and had to be wiped down, other than that simple and great. If you're local to lomita you have a hidden gem with Lomita's Best. I'll definitely be back to try their other items on the menu.

After reading yelp reviews I wanted to try the place since I was craving a burger. Its a burger joint, clean and small - housed in a former Taco Bell building. Service is on point and they deliver the food to you. I had the cheeseburger combo with fried zucchini and a root beer. Hubby had the egg burrito which was hefty, full of eggs and potatoes. My burger was decent and zucchini was good. For the price this place is a good deal.

This place has been around for years here in the South Bay - you can eat in or they have a little drive thru in the back of the parking lot for their full menu. Inside is casual and service pretty quick and easy. The drive-thru is usually pretty fast and rarely more than a couple cars wait. The menu is quite diverse and eclectic with burgers and sandwiches as well as Mexican type offerings; plus a popular assortment of breakfast meals including egg sandwiches, steak and eggs, omelettes or pancakes platters! My favorite is the pastrami burger and fries - try it out!

Our new go-to restaurant around our neighborhood! They have everything, the food is very reasonably priced, generous portions, and very good! The service is excellent as you are served after you order from the front register. The menu can be dizzying but complete with pix & descriptions. I've had their breakfast burrito, gyro, fries, and tacos... all very good! We've taken a few family members here and they were all surprised how good this place is. Though small in size, the ambiance is Mexican (old Taco Bell location perhaps?), they also have outside seating and a drive through! It gets a little busy but because of the seating & drive thru, we always find seats inside. They have unlimited coffee served at the front counter in a thermos pump... Come on in and dine for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They got your food for any meal and tastes!

Hubbers and I just finished unloading donations off the car at Savers not too far away and since it's the lunch hour, and doing my diligent search, I suggested we try this place out. And that's how we found ourselves here. We had the pup with us, so it was going to be a takeout order. I took the time to go through their menu a couple of days before, so it was either gonna be the chicken fried steak and eggs or the pastrami burger. The sammich won out because that's what I ended up being in the mood for. I also got a side of deep fried mushrooms. Hubbers got a chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries to share. It's a 15-minute drive back home, but our food held its temp pretty well. DEEP FRIED MUSHROOMS: They are incredibly generous with this! I decided to take it out of the bag and put 'em in a bowl, and it was plenty - plenty enough leftovers for a small snack later in the day. The batter was great, the mushroom was great, but for the love of food, Lomita's Best! Please heed your customers' suggestions and season it! A little salt and pepper will do this side so much better! The side of ranch helped, but if they just add some taste to the batter, the ranch may not even be necessary. CHILI CHEESE FRIES: Like the mushroom, they were generous with this as well. The flavor is on point. They were also generous with the amount of chili and cheese. PASTRAMI BURGER: The buns were soft and fluffy. The burger was cooked well. Veggies were fresh. The pastrami, however, I felt needed a little more time on the grill. It might have helped popped a bit more of its flavor. Otherwise, it was delicious. And like the mushrooms and chili cheese fries, it, too, was generous in size. After having the starters, I was only able to consume half. Saved the other half for a 2nd meal to go with the leftover 'shrooms. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 3. Only snag is that when I was putting in my sammich order, the server said, "Pastrami cheeseburger." I had to correct her to make sure I didn't get a cheeseburger, "No, pastrami burger, no cheese please." I thought it odd when she came back with, "Pastrami burger, same thing." Uhm... no. It's not. And for someone who doesn't like cheese on their burgers, that makes a whole world of difference. I'm glad I made that clear. VALUE: 4. It's a bargain. PARKING: They have a private lot. Most spots were occupied during our stop. They do have a following! OVERALL: 4. They are popular. There were a couple of cars ahead of us and a line formed behind us in the duration we were there. That's a pretty good tell how good this place is! There's a nice history behind this family-owned place. It's a short and interesting read. If you have a minute, read about it! We're rarely around this area, but they are now on my radar next time we come around - if only to try the chicken fried steak and eggs! Maybe we'll dine in for that next time...

Fast food grill place with breakfasts and lunch type fare. They have wraps, salads, and Mexican food too. The people who work here seem friendly and nice. They're busy, but they're not stressed out or rude. The place is clean inside and there are a lot of people here at lunch. For my first time i'm getting a blt w/avocado. The sandwich is good. They use a kind of thousand island spread instead of mayo, which was unexpected, but not bad. The onion rings are fine. They're definitely frozen. But they're cooked well. This is a pretty good lunch spot and I'll be back to try other things. It's a 4 for a grill burger/sandwich place.

I was luckily able to bring 2 of my friends with me to try this place out! I came on a Saturday and there was only one other table that was occupied. It was pretty empty which saddened me because once I tried the food I was BLOWN away. The chips and salsa come complimentary as a starter/table finger food. that salsa... oh my. the salsa!!!! I am soooooo PICKY with my salsa. They absolutely nailed this salsa. The flavor, spice level, texture!!! It hit every single mark in my brain and taste buds. If the house salsa is good, then you know the food is also going to smack. The menu looks so appetizing, it was honestly hard to decide what I wanted to eat. I ordered some steak nachos as an appetizer with my friends based on a photo I saw on Yelp. 12/10. beautiful!!! They put a healthy portion of meat on it! Everything was just so spot on. The tortilla chips were all crunchy, no soggy nacho chips here. The sour cream, guac, pico... please order it. The meat was so flavorful, tender and had like no fatty pieces on it. Everyone needs to try it honestly. I ended up going simple and ordered a steak torta with everything on it. The waiter offered a side of jalapenos as well, which I happily accepted. 10/10. I was only able to eat half. I gave the other half to my extremely picky father and he liked it a lot. That's how you know this place is that girl. Can't forget the dessert. I ordered the flan, the waiter convinced us.. he said its home made. Which I would hope! It was a small piece and was flavorful. Creamy, smooth, just melt into your tongue. Also melts into your heart. Not overly sweet. Just the right amount of cajeta on it. 10/10. Horchata was very tasty to me. Right amount of sweetness to it. Service was good. Drinks were always filled, salsa and chip refills were always offered and filled. He took great care of us. They gave us lollipops with the check!! Omg so cute, my heart! Parking is difficult as it is only street parking. Majority of the parking also gets taken by the customers who go to the coffee shop across the street. I am def bookmarking this place to come back. It is so delicious. I plan on bringing my family here next. Me enamore de este restaurante!

This business should be ashamed of how it treats its customers…read more This review is about Tacos El Goloso, located at 1605 Pacific Coast Hwy, Harbor City, CA. My daughter is an EMT. While on duty, she stopped at this location and placed an order. Before her food was ready, she received an emergency call and had to leave immediately. That's the reality of being a first responder--when a call comes in, you leave immediately, no time to wait for your meal. Before leaving, she politely asked the cashier to cancel the order and refund her card. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, the cashier was dismissive and unhelpful. After completing the call, my daughter contacted the restaurant, apologized for the inconvenience, and again requested a refund. She was initially told that the receipt had been thrown away. Later, the receipt was apparently found, but she was then informed that if she wanted a refund--or even the food she had paid for--she would have to return to the location in person. The problem is that she lives more than an hour away and was only in the area because she was working. I called the following day in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was met with the same attitude. The employee refused to provide her name, refused to provide a manager's name, and refused to provide any contact information for someone who could address the complaint. To be clear, this is not about the cost of a meal. Had the employee been courteous, professional, or even remotely helpful, we likely would have let the matter go. Emergencies happen. Schedules change. We understand that. What prompted this review was not the lost food or the refund itself--it was the employee's rude attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a simple customer service issue. I will also acknowledge that by the end of my phone call, I became frustrated and was not as polite as I should have been. I regret that. However, that frustration came only after repeated attempts to handle the situation respectfully and being met with rudeness and resistance at every turn. A business can recover from a mistake. What it cannot afford is employees who treat customers with contempt and then refuse to provide any way to contact management when a legitimate concern is raised. Management should be aware that this employee's behavior reflects poorly on the entire business. If this is how customers are treated when they encounter an unexpected emergency, then potential customers deserve to know before choosing to spend their money here.

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm.

I didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She constantly checked on us and made sure our chips, salsa, and water were always refilled. We ordered two breakfast burritos--a bacon, potato, and egg burrito, and a chorizo breakfast burrito. According to our receipt, I believe the cook's name was Vince, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. The breakfast burritos were phenomenal and tasted IDENTICAL to the ones I make at home--which is one of the highest compliments I can give! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Mexican Riviera is truly a hidden gem in Torrance. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. And I can't forget the micheladas--they were SO good! We were admittedly a little hungover and so eager to eat that we completely forgot to take photos of our food, which says everything about how much we enjoyed it. The decor is beautiful, the restaurant is spotless, and every detail of the space feels thoughtfully designed. It's clear that the staff takes pride in creating a great experience for their guests. Thank you to everyone at Mexican Riviera for such a wonderful lunch experience. We will absolutely be back, and I can't wait to bring friends and family to try this amazing place

I always pay attention to the chips and salsa because for me it's an early indicator of how good the food is going to be. They came out quickly, the salsa was really fresh, and the chips weren't overly greasy. Good sign. I ordered the wet bean and cheese burrito and on the server's suggestion went half red half green sauce. That was a great call, both were really good. The burrito was solid start to finish. No complaints at all.
