Before going to the restaurant and posting this review- I noticed that it has been close to 2 years since a Yelp.com Elite Reviewer posted a review for this restaurant. I went along with a friend for the FREE Veteran's Day (11/11/25) Vets Original Grand Slam Special for myself- I paid an additional $2.89 for (French Toast) instead of pancakes and $1.49 for Hashbrowns whilst my friend ordered the Super Slam at $9.99 plus the upgrade charge of $2.89 for the French Toast (Hashbrowns came included with his meal). For beverages we both ordered Coffee's. Both of our meals were very tasty and a good amount of food- French Toast were 3 pieces in an order. I also appreciated the recent renovations to this restaurant from years past. Thanks again for providing a breakfast meal to Veteran's both past and currently in our all volunteer military services- since less than "1%" of the US population is in the military. I'd like to pay special recognition to Ashly (she made numerous visits to our table to make sure everything was okay with our meals along with putting 3 French Toasts we couldn't finish in a to-go box) and we all know- at least I do- is that her attentiveness starts from the top- who is Rosie (GM). Yesterday I went to Dennys for lunch with my family and it went well. The food was good, I got chicken tenders tossed in buffalo sauce with season fries and it met my expectations. Our waitress was really nice and welcoming, I'm not sure what her name is but she had short hair, she needs a raise. I've been going to this Dennys for many years and they redid the whole restaurant, it looks nice and was clean the whole time I was there. What really shocked me was the walking robot, the robot came to drop off all of our food, and greeted us/said to enjoy our meals. I really love their iced tea, mozzarella sticks, and season fries but sometimes the chicken tenders is a hit or miss but I would come back here and I recommend this Dennys location. read more

Even before the remodel this location has been so much better since it changed ownership. It's still your regular Denny's but in this area it's the best service your going to get. The staff is very attentive and very nice. Drinks stay full and they check on you constantly. We've become regulars here and I can tell you the food is great but the atmosphere is so warm and I don't mean the temperature. Food is better than the other Denny's near by. I wish they stayed open later for those late night cravings but they close at 10pm. read more

My wife and I stopped by Denny's for her birthday, and it ended up being one of the most fun and welcoming stops on our birthday freebie tour. We had called the day before to ask how the free birthday breakfast works - and the staff was so kind--they even said happy birthday over the phone (which no one else did all day!) and welcomed us to come! When we arrived, everyone was super friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was clean, the food came out fast, and a robot even brought out a birthday ice cream with a candle! WTF?! Haha Then a group of five team members came over to sing happy birthday--such a real touch. Look out for Maria--she's a total rockstar. The multigrain brown sugar pancakes are legit: simple, hearty, and tasty. The turkey bacon was kind of weird, but hey--not everything can be perfect. It became disgusting as my Sister and I were leaving we went to the bathroom and one stall was occupied, no big. We were in and out, washing our hands and the person that had been grunting in stall 1 comes out, SHE'S WEARING A DENNY'S UNIFORM and she doesn't wash her hands. She goes to open the door and I say "whoa hey STOP, aren't you gonna wash your hands?" She looks at me and says NO and left. I was angry my Sister was telling me to let it go, it was early Sunday morning. I saw her standing by the register as we left, I was pissed. I couldn't let it go and immediately call Denny's to complain. She is not the young pretty girl that works the register and I don't think she is a server, yuck does that mean she might be food prep. A waitress that will plop burned food on your table should be replaced. THE COOK that can't get it right after 2 times.. should be replaced. I WAS STARVING when we arrived.. so when our food comes to your table burned and somehow cold? It's a mystery. My family and I were craving a good breakfast. We decided to go to Denny's in Rancho palo verde. I am happy that we decided too. We were greeted by a very sweet and friendly young lady, Katie. She was able to get us seated pretty fast even though it was busy. I guess everyone else had the same idea, lol. We really enjoy this Denny's. It is always super clean and the service is very nice. We came for dinner this time. We love going there for dinner because you can have a full dinner or you can have breakfast at 8 pm. We like that. When you walk in you are greeted straight away and it is usually not crowded at night. Once seated a server is with you fast and your coffee is on its way. They have a large menu and there is a lot to choose from. Their prices are reasonable and right now, that is a big deal to us. We had a wonderful burger and fries with a nice salad and a full egg breakfast, and shared it all. It was great. The burger was cooked perfectly and the eggs were exactly as ordered. We had some pie for dessert and that was really good. Next time I will get ice cream on top of it. Have a great time. read more

My regular lunch companion and I had planned to visit Denny's for a while (his idea, for a bit of nostalgia). The full multi-mealtime menu is still a thing. Denny's lives long after we used to visit in different locales. The décor is about unchanged here, too. This location on Western was between points already on our work agenda, so it was an easy choice. We were at first concerned at how empty the parking lot was, but since we drove there in a large commercial vehicle, it was very convenient. We agreed that the food was very good (he had a fish dinner, I had the pot roast, which was delicious, with perfectly-cooked vegetables). The service was great (pleasant and prompt), another upside of the post-noon lull, we guessed. Even the affordable prices (also reminiscent of our youths) added to the overall experience. I had not patronized this Denny restaurant in over two years due to the poor customer service, food quality and overall setting. Today, we decided to take another chance since it's recent remodeling and change of ownership. We were greatly surprised at the overall experience of the fantastic service by Eddie our server, quickness and food from the chefs and the open floor plan and quiet/relaxing atmosphere of the morning. I find it funny that upon arrival a table with 4 WHITE people are being waited on hand and foot.. as soon as my Hispanic son and I walk in -nobody seats us, a WAITRESS sits us down, and of course nobody takes our order until we ask someone to.. of course the assumption was that we weren't going to tip as well but acting like that definitely makes us not want to tip at all.
