Everytime I am in California I need to get IN-N-OUT. It is so far the best burger I've ever had in a fast food chain. I always order the same combo, the "not-so-secret menu" which is the double double "animal style" with the animal style fries (animal style=they add melted cheese, in-n-out secret sauce and grilled onions on top). It's bomb! I really wish we had In-n-out in Florida because it is so yummy and so cheap comparing to Five guys. If you are in California and you've never been here yet, you definitly should stop by and order an animal style burger ( you can get any burger with that secret version), and try the animal style fries as well. The workers here do their best to get you your food as quickly as possible. I hate going in the restaurant so I hit up the drive thru which can take a little longer, but at least I can sit like the beached whale I long to be. My grilled cheese animal style w/extra pickles and tomatoes cut in half was done perfectly. I also got my fries well done and they were crispy how I like them. When I asked for a lot of ketchup they game me a good amount! Don't you just hate when you ask for extra anything and don't really get it? Really I have no complaints about my visit here. As a CA transplant, for a long while I had only heard rumors about the food from locals. When I finally got there in-person (and moved to CA), I really enjoyed the food, but felt it wasn't worthy of the apparently romanticized reputation. It IS good. VERY good for fast food. But the fries are only cafeteria quality (although fresh). Skip the fries, buy the burger and a shake. My favorites are still Five Guys for burgers AND fries, and Red Robin for burgers alone. I don't know how many times I have given In and Out a second chance to impress me. To me the burgers aren't that good and then to wait in a long azz line also is definitely not worth it. The fries aren't even that good then I ordered the animal style fries and it still wasn't that good. I think what I don't like is the thousand island dressing. Midwesterner from Missouri/South of St. Louis visiting on vacation and HAD to try the famed In-N-Out burger you hear about everywhere but can only get on the West coast (or certain areas exclusive to the Midwest/East), and boy howdy... I have a few things on my mind. In terms of service? Phenomenal. I don't remember the name of the kid that took the order-- wanna say it started with an "A" (Andy? Andrew?) Dude was on the order super fast, didn't drag ass with how busy the place was, and was super polite. The food was another story. Not that it was bad, but the burgers are WAYYYY over-hyped for how they turned out in my eyes. Burger- Presentation and composition gets an A+. Neat and in order. Buns weren't too crisp and weren't too floppy/fluffy; they were just right for the burger. Lettuce was crisp. Tomato was crisp. Sauce is great. Taste gets a B for being too overhyped. I felt let down even though it was a decent tasting burger. One last thing to add- If you get fries, ask for them animal style. They blew my mind-- with animal style they put the sauce from the burger (which is like thousand island but creamier and not as tangy) on them and add grilled onions and cheese on the fries; the flavor pairing of the 3 sent me. But yeah... if any of you Californians ever travel to the Midwest, try Culvers. I promise you they are a level or two above In-N-Out. ;) read more

Wow. I eat at in-n-out all the time but this in-n-out is THE BEST I've been to. The people were really nice, they made our order really fast during a busy time and the food that came out was amazing. The fries we got were slightly crispier than average but not so crispy that it's "well done." The burger somehow also tasted juicier with more flavor. I always get a cheeseburger with grilled onions. Lastly, I got a vanilla milkshake and it was a perfect addition to my meal. I like to dip my fries into my milkshake. So good. If I lived In Temecula, this would be my regular in n out joint for sure. read more

I've been a fan of In-N-Out since my high school days. I loved the food then, and still love it now. I like going inside at this location because the dive-thru line is longer than... well... it's long most of the time. I order the #1 with everything (no animal style) but with a whole grilled onion. Sometimes I'll get the fries well done, and usually chase it all down with a a shake (and/or carbonated beverage). It stays open late which is a huge plus when I get home late or for other reasons have to eat late at night. Oh, alright...I've been back quite a few times since my last review when I said the wait times were bad. Happy to say they are noticeably better now on speed and service. Not sure if they did in fact hire more crew but now the time between ordering and getting your number called is more in line with other locations we've eaten at. Also, this is a clean location and I like that they have outside seating. These days I pretty much go for double-double protein style, no bun and wrapped in iceberg lettuce instead. The price of a meal here is so reasonable, no wonder there are many families with kids and sports teams coming in after games. This does make it more crowded and at times noisy. Again, outside tables help! Last time my wife and I ate here about 3 weeks ago we got our food in under 5 minutes of ordering and everything was perfect. Keep up the good work! read more
