I thought the pricing was actually pretty reasonable considering it was just under $20 for two cheeseburger meals and I had upgraded mine to be "animal style" for the burger and a shake for my drink. The portions were quite large, the fries I mean just look! So better adds on the value. I really liked the fries they reminded me of shoe-string potato chips. I don't have an In-N-Out where I live, so when I see one, I try to stop in. I ordered a double-double animal-style, French fries, and a vanilla milkshake. A couple of things I would change: I would get a Coke instead of a milkshake. The milkshake was not that great. In the future, I would pass on the milkshakes. The French fries were OK but not hot, and I believe French fries are always best when they come right out of the fryer and are super hot. The burger was good, but not as great as I remembered or had built it up to be. I would still go with a double double, but maybe not animal style seems to be a change in my taste. I can tell you that the service was outstanding. People were super friendly, and one of the things that In-N-Out has down Pat is that every place I have ever been is super clean, and that's one of the things I've loved about them. Had to have an In-N- Out Burger before leaving Arizona. We were pleasantly surprised there was no line when we walked in and ordered immediately. We had single cheeseburgers and animal fries. The burgers are still reasonably priced and consistently good. The burgers are topped with lettuce, tomato, and a Thousand Island-style sauce. The fries are topped with cheese and grilled onions. Five stars. This review is for the In N Out in Tempe. The 4x4 burger was AMAZING!! This was the first stop off the plane for me. To me, it tasted like an old fashioned, old school burger from a local soda fountain. Soooo good! The service for the drive-thru was amazingly fast despite a huge car line that snaked thru the large parking lot and on to the street. I had a revelation tonite at In n Out. I had a burger in California twice and never liked it. The taste was so blah to me and I didn't get the hype. Tonite at the Tempe location location, I ordered it without the bun. Ok protein something, she mumbled at the register. I waited 40 min or so since there was 200 people inside. I got a strawberry shake too. I'm ate the burger and sat outside and it was so grill tasting and delicious. Apparently I don't like their bread AT ALL. It's kind of mind boggling to me that I've never Yelped In-N-Out, being that I've eaten their food hundreds of times. I live really close to this Tempe location and it's just about always packed so I only go once in a while, but that makes it special for me. There were a few years where I got tired of it, and didn't appreciate it, but I'm back! It's awesome. I will either order a dbl-dbl animal style with well done fry or I'll get a cheeseburger with onions and animal fry. What I won't do is order a dbl-dbl AND animal fries. That's how I used to eat it, but it's too much for me now. I also used to order a chocolate shake every time but now I love getting the Neapolitan blend. And I think I used to just get a cup of water but I really like making a Pink Arnold (iced tea and their pink lemonade). Pro-tip is getting the fries well done. It makes them the consistency that fries are best at. It always made me laugh that ppl don't initially like the fries...they are undercooked!! So the texture is off, but you get used to it. Being from Illinois we've never been to an IN-N-OUT restaurant as we do not have any around us. We found the burgers to be very tasty and the meal was a great value. They offer a large amount parking if your opt to dine on and this location had quite a bit of covered outdoor seating. As with most of their locations they have a very busy drive thru that does wrap through the lot. I got my usual protein style, animal style with chopped of chili's, double double . After 6 hours at the airport traveling, we stopped by the drive-thru last night and it was exactly what we needed. The food was fresh, delicious, and absolutely spot on. Classic In-N-Out experience--great burgers, made fresh just like always. The fries were freshly cut and tasted great. There was plenty of parking and it wasn't too busy when we went, which made everything quick and easy. If you're bringing your dogs, you can go inside to order with them, but you'll need to sit outside to eat. Thankfully, the outdoor seating is a solid option. The only downside was that while we were eating outside, a staff member came to change the trash and brought all the trash cans over to the one spot--right next to our table, which was the only one occupied at the time. It was a bit off-putting and definitely impacted the experience. Still, solid food and fast service as usual. Just a bit more awareness around outdoor dining would make it even better. read more

Maybe I love it because we don't have it out east but this place is just so good. The quality is simply incredible. The prices don't reflect the current inflationary conditions. This was my first experience at an In-N-Out and I'm already scheming to go back! Although they do not have many vegetarian options, their hidden menu has a grilled cheese which was absolutely amazing! I added grilled onions to the grilled cheese and also added cheese & onions to the French fries which I definitely recommend. Despite how busy they were, they were able to take my order and get it out to me within around 5 minutes which I was impressed by. To top it all off, the total price for the meal was less than $10 which is hard to heat especially for the quality. I'm very impressed! read more

On numerous occasions, it's been the small things like getting the wrong drink but today really did it for me. I ordered and paid for a Double-Double and received a regular cheeseburger instead. I understand they have to move quickly, and I respect that. But when mistakes keep happening, especially on simple items, it might be worth slowing down just enough to make sure orders are correct.
