We visited family over the last week from LA and stopped here as my boyfriend and I are both vegan and gluten-free. All I can say is this might have been one of the best vegan burgers I've ever had in my life and I've had many in LA. I got the Uniq burger with the gluten-free bun and my boyfriend the Paradise burger. Both were unbelievably tasty and just full of flavor. The gf bun was also really good and didn't fall apart like most do. The fries were also great. We had non vegan family with us too and they were blown away at how good everything was. The pricing was also very fair in my opinion considering the quality of the food! Service was excellent and the space was really clean and comfortable. I wish there were more places like this just about everywhere. If you're local or not I highly recommend visiting Uniq and make sure you come hungry cause you're going to want to indulge! read more

Been visiting this amazing VEGAN establishment for a few years now...I wanna say since they opened. All this time, and all the visits, everything is consistently amazing. We almost always order the Single or Double Uniq Burger, with fries. We had tried the Cajun Seasoning on the fries ($1 upgrade), but it's pretty spicy. The Uniq Burger comes with tomatoes and lettuce, but I don't really enjoy warm tomatoes and lettuce so I usually opt out of those. The service is always great (provided by the owner's mother); she is so kind, soft spoken and always provides a welcoming environment. Parking is never an issue (grocery store parking lot), both bathrooms are always clean and inviting, and the prices are fair. Like burgers for example. She found UNiQ online and so, as is our tradition, we set out to try this new burger option that matches with her new dietary restrictions. When we arrived we found a dark interior that felt cozy rather than closed in. It was clean and the lighting sets a rather intimate mood for a burger joint. We were greeted warmly by the woman at the counter, placed our orders, and found a good seat. Our orders were dropped off quickly and the food was great! As a burger guy I will say that the texture and taste aren't as good as a regular burger but they are large, good, and filling. The tomato, lettuce, and pickle on it were crisp and fresh and the sauce is the cherry on top. The fries were fresh, crispy but fluffy, and salted perfectly. We talked to several people eating in the restaurant and they are all repeat customers and they absolutely love it! The service was 10/10 the guy is so nice taking your order. But the food is SUPER EXPENSIVE. We got the southwest, the chopped cheese, and 1 tender (to try the chicken) and it was $43!!!!!!!! We didn't even get drinks, just water. My Yelp friends are correct on this one. A delicious veggie burger served up with a smile. I had the Southwest with the spicy stuff on the side (because I love avocado). Hubby had the Chopped Cheese sandwich. Both were exceptional. The smashed burger was juicy and yet crisp. The chz grew on me. The crispy onions just added to the flavor. The brioche bun was perfect. Mom was helping out at the counter and she was so sweet with her givin welcome, recommendations, and checking on us. I was so excited to eat at this plant based burger joint in Scottsdale. I always call beforehand to check ingredients to make sure I'm not going to be grossly disappointed when I arrive and eat at a new restaurant. After calling to get basic information at Uniq Burger, I knew right away that I was not going to stop by until I got more detailed info from upper management via email. I've never been a supporter of fake, lab created, food-like products. I was so disappointed to receive an email back from management confirming that all burgers and sandwiches are made with the worse fake meat currently out there, Impossible. While other plant based products have ensured they're as natural as possible without the use of bioengineering, or altering DNA to get an unpredictable food-like product, Impossible uses DNA altered heme in their "meat." This apparently makes the fake burger bleed...yeah, no thanks. While I won't be eating at Uniq Burger due to their ingredient choices, they also use Beyond plant based chicken and Gardein which are both Non GMO certified brands. They do use Non GMO potatoes and palm oil from Columbia(doesn't sound very sustainable), but those are the facts for anyone interested. Biotech corporations who make DNA altered fake food have little to no oversight and the U.S. government has given them the green light to self regulate without informing Americans that bioengineered ingredients are in their food products in supermarkets or restaurants. GMO food-like products continue to be risky, unpredictable, experimental, and unnatural(never possible outside a lab). read more

The Burger is Plant based , with melted cheese , a pickle chip and Special Sauce On a Soft Bun. Being an Elite Squad Yelper, my Burger and my Drink was complimentary. I ordered Cut Sweet Potato Fries which I dipped in Ketchup. Heidi , Daniel's Mom was a great Hostess. People really enjoyed their meals. Lots of smiles all around! As a vegan food enthusiast, I always list vegan restaurants across the country that I plan to try, so saying it was a pleasant surprise when my Airbnb was 3 minutes away from UniQ Burger would be an understatement. Dare I say it, but this is one of the best vegan spots I've had in a while, if not ever! UNiQ dares to be different with its thoughtful attempt at flavor and texture combinations. During my visit, I tried the following: Chicken nuggets, chicken wrap, Southwest burger, sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, and Southwest loaded fries. UNiQ's food tells a story. It is so refreshing to go to a place with such quality and care that speaks through customer service. Heidi was incredible. She provided recommendations and checked to make sure we enjoyed everything. When I ordered my food, I thought I asked for the fully loaded fries, but I got the southwest fully loaded due to a mixup. Let me say this was one of the best mistakes. They were so good and flavorful. Heidi offered to exchange the fries and apologized for the mix-up, and I respectfully declined partially because I started to guess second if I had said the correct thing. Additionally, I love the restaurant's aesthetic. It is extremely cozy. Most importantly, the restaurant was nearly spotless. They have gender-neutral restrooms, which were practically spotless. I met my boba sistah for an early lunch and suggested this spot as it has been on my list for a while and neither of us tried it. Our server was also able to split our check and our sandwiches which was great. We chose a table and our food was delivered within 10 minutes. Out of the two entrees, I preferred the Southwest burger (PLANT-BASED PATTY, VEGAN AMERICAN CHEESE, LETTUCE, AVOCADO, JALAPEÑOS, FRIED ONION STRINGS, HOUSE-MADE CHIPOTLE AIOLI, VEGAN BRIOCHE BUN). I love chipotle sauce and the cheese was creamy and delicious. Everything worked together really well and we were pleasantly surprised with how good the vegan brioche is. The chicken sandwich has a nice combination of flavors (RECREATE VEGAN FRIED CHICKEN GLAZED IN SWEET & SPICY SAUCE, JALAPENOS, GRILLED PINEAPPLE, SWEET & SPICY SLAW, VEGAN BRIOCHE BUN). The offer 3 or 4 burger options, 3 French fry options, a couple salads, chicken sandwich options and they serve beer. I ordered the southwest burger. Omgeeeeeeeeeeee! Y'all!!! Go here! Go here! Go here! I made the 45 min drive because good food is worth it and so is supporting small businesses. This burger had crispy onion straws, jalapeños, grilled onions, Melted vegan cheese and a whole bunch of other good stuff. Oh yea some vegan bacon bits! What an amazing find by my wife. We enjoy trying new vegan places in the valley. My wife is dairy sensitive so it's great when we can find a completely vegan restaurant that makes delicious cheese burgers. Who da thunk it???? My wife had the southwestern burger which had a delicious burn to it from the jalapeños. I tried their paradise burger which had a grilled pineapple on it. We didn't order in purpose, but our burgers were the perfect sweet and spicy combo. Would definitely order again. They also had delicious loaded French fries. Their the spice mix made me want to run to the kitchen and steal their shaker. Definitely order the fries, loaded or regular. I am visiting for a week long job at a "resort" type property that has very limited vegan options; good but limited. So I came here because, while it can be crippling having so many vegan options, I can't turn down a good smash burger. All I can say is WHOA! Went here after casino weekend. Brad got paradise burger that was FIRE! He literally moaned out loud after the first bite. Such a brad dish as it had pepperocinni peppers in the burger. I tried the ranch BLT chicken wrap. It was so fresh and yummy. But we agreed that if you come here you should get a burger. They all look good. But if you aren't feeling a burger, the chicken is great! There is a ginger salad for ultra healthy folks. We got the sweet potato fries and they were fresh crispy and tasty. Great all around meal with great service. Would drive to scottsdale to eat here again. I would get the paradise burger and a different type of fries. Yum! This is a place we would recommend for elders to uber eats from here as the food is fresh and healthy and yummy and better for you than fast food.
