I used to live in LA and been to the world famous INO near LAX and in Westwood. This is a new one in Tempe AZ and it's clean, very crowded but with ample staff so my order didn't take too long. I had a "DOUBLE DOUBLE ANIMAL STYLE" and fries. Both were delicious for a reasonable $7.40 including taxes. I subtract a star for lack of ambience(I'm not a fan of their interior design seems like a cross between a hospital dining room and a 50s McDonalds). Brand new in n out location close to my house, finally! So everything tasted amazing and is just as good as any other location. My only 2 complains are: 1. The entry to the drive through is a little confusing because they have so many cones up it distracts from the route. 2. They gave us a salt packet with the fries, but no pepper. I feel each should just be given instead of JUST salt. Either way, I will frequent this location now! Yummy cheap burgers with the best value of any burger joint in the valley! I recommend getting a double double (or any burger of your choice) with both raw and grilled onions. Always ask for extra spread packets to squirt onto your burger as you eat it! What used to be a Southern California institution, more and more are now popping up everywhere outside of CA. That's good for me as In-n-Out is always a good place to go for cheap good burgers. I rolled up to this place and joined the long drive-thru line. It might have been long, but it moved at a decent pace. Instead of ordering via the intercom, they had an employee outside taking orders. I ordered 2 Double Doubles, both with onions. Shortly after paying for my burgers, I got them at the final window. When I got back to my place, both burgers tasted great and were on par with any In-n-Out that I've ever visited. read more

There's something really strange about whats been going on with in-n-out's chilis recently. I used to love getting in n out just to eat with the chilis, but now the chilis are bringing down the whole experience of eating an in-n-out burger. I just ate some (not the sliced ones but the whole chilis which are the best) and it tasted old and frozen? No hard crunch like you would expect from a fresh one, just kinda soggy and bland. Its a step up from the sliced chili nonsense they were giving us before that weren't even spicy. But I do miss the og chilis. What happened? Was there a virus that killed off all the original chili crops or something? Anyway this location is great, no complaints except for the double lanes in the drive through that makes you merge. People are aggressive and will cut you off! This is more a plea for in-n-out corp to bring back the original chilis they had a couple years ago. read more

Worst drive through of any in n out drive through ive ever experienced. Be prepared to wait 15-20 mins... i usually go inside but the parking lot is terrible too. Very skinny, you try to back out and 50% of the time some asshole tries to back out or go by you. Stay away. read more

If you've been to one you've been to them all--and that's a good thing. Fast food dining at its finest. Never disappoints except that there are no outposts out east. I enjoyed my first double-double but I prefer two singles. I'm told that asking for "animal style" gets you some insider version of the burger and fries and I'm sure that a quick web search will provide the requisite insight. I have tomato allergy told them to bag my food separate but found out that they mixed mine (no burger sauce no tomato) and my husband's burger which had their burger sauce on it that has tomato. I think it got on my burger because my lips are burning and having hives. This was the first time this happened because they used to be really good about separating my food. I wanted to update my review from a few years ago. In-n-out listened, they changed the drive through line! The line is still long, but it doesn't completely block parking lot traffic anymore. They now break into two lines earlier and the line curves a bit. They could still improve upon this as people didn't notice that there are actually two lines. The sign is small. I was directing traffic from my car once I ordered trying to help. They really do need someone outside at all times to help direct traffic. I know it's hot this time of year so that's cruel, but it would be helpful. As usual, food was delicious. read more

the worst drive thru. a guy was standing out taking orders he asked if I was eating in the car. I mistakenly said yes, even though the parking lot was full which was why I ended up in the drive thru. it took about 15minutes to get to the window and the gal did not feel like taking the payment so we were sent to the next window it took another 5 minutes to get to the next window. I paid and was given the meal in an open cardboard box. I asked for a bag and they put a cover on it. it took five minutes to get home and when I took the lid off I had a cold cheeseburger and cold fries. I ended up heating it up. do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. white castle gives you hot food when you go through the drive thru and it is good. bottom line stay away from this in and out burger unless you like cold food. it really does not deserve even one star. read more

I'm very happy to have been one of the first 40 people to come to this new In-N-Out Burger on their grand opening day and to be posting the first (of many more) reviews of this awesome fast food restaurant!! While on our way from the airport to visit friends, we stopped in here for a burger (we specifically came to In-N-Out because of its amazingly good reputation and a previous visit to another location being soooo good) and they did not disappoint! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the place was spotless! Of course it would be perfect, since this was the first day it was open, but it also looked like a separate location we visited a few years ago that was well-established, so that proves to me their management it on top of keeping this place as clean and perfect as possible! The food was awesome... Burgers were outstanding! Fries we really good and everything was fresh! I love those little hot peppers they serve on the side as well! Wow, amazing service, friendly staff, could not believe how above and beyond every single person went at this establishment in greeting our family, offering to take pictures, give our hats etc. We visited in the late afternoon on 2/21 and everyone working was hustling, cleaning, smiling and overall seemed so happy to be a part of the In-N-out team. Fantastic burgers and fries made fresh. Never frozen. Customer service is beyond anything you see now a days. Respect all around, everyone welcoming or saying goodbye. The food is what you'd expect for in-n-out but the set up and service are lacking. The drive-through is set up as a zipper (two lines that merge into one line), and people generally don't know how to zipper. So then one side gets a long line, other cars go to the second side to start zipper-ing in, but then the cars already in line on the first side get mad. There's no person out here to help expedite orders (as they do in Vegas, and in Texas). It's a shit show. I've never had an easy drive thru experience here. read more

I love In-n-out burgers...until today. I usually frequent the Ray Rd location in Chandler. Always fresh and "correct". Today, I tried the Baseline near I-10 location. The fries were "limp" and greasy. I ordered a single animal style with cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and spread. My husband ordered the same thing only a double. The burgers came with lettuce, no pickles, and the bun was cracked at the top, which lead me to believe the bun had been sitting awhile or was old. Neither the burger or fries were hot. I don't live very far and was super disappointed when I got home. It wasn't very crowded as it usually is so I was excited about trying it out. Boy was I wrong. This place is relatively new. But I will say they were very busy at the time. But I was pleasantly surprised the staff was so concerned and wanting to make it right from the manager on down. They made me another burger which was up to their standards. The true value of a restaurant is in their desire to make things right when a problem occurs and this restaurant did. I simply asked if they had a Gluten Free bun because I have a Gluten Allergy. The Cashier girl kindly asked for me, But then the Aggressive manager came... He told me very rudely "I believe we have a question here!" And he was very condescending.. I told him I just wanted to ask and that I didn't mean to start a problem... (I was trying to be the bigger person). I know for a fact I was treated wrongly. Maybe I'm over reacting but I think it was because I was Mexican, I felt that they were racist towards me.. I have Ethos because I work at Chic-fil-A. He said "Well people that can't eat bread usually eat Protein Style" very condescendingly again" Because of his tone of voice I told him thank you, and I wasn't trying to start a problem.. He said "well I'm just trying to say what we got sir" again rude. I hate to be talked down on. To sum it up, This In-n-Out is at least hostile against minorities.. You're typical In-N-Out restaurant with food that tastes just like their other locations. One thing I didn't like about this location is that we went inside to order, there were 5 people before us, and they made my shake right away!! But they didn't give it to me until our order was ready, which was about a 10 minute wait. I saw it sitting on the counter but figured it was for someone else. Well I kept my eye on it and sure enough that was the one I received. It was just a regular vanilla drink by the time it got it which was upsetting. I was going to ask them to remake it but they were so busy they weren't paying attention to any customers. My husband was able to flag an employee down and had asked for a fork for our animal fries and they told him they didn't have them?! That's a lie because we always get one at other locations. He also asked for 2 of their sauce packets and we were told we could only have one. We ordered two meals! Again other locations we get two no problem and sometimes they give us an extra just in case. I'm pretty sure we won't be coming back to this location and stick to the others that we like. It could have been an off night for them but it was enough to leave an impression on us. Things to note, their dining tables were dirty both inside and outside tables, trash overflowing outside, and limited parking due to drive thru line being in the way of parking spots. read more
