Jersey Mike's has a hot Italian sandwich advertised in the window. Ham, salami, and pepperoni, grilled and chopped with melted provolone. Topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and chopped pepper relish, all served on a toasted roll. I walked in and ordered it. I asked for extra grilled onions and they were happy to accommodate me. After making the sandwich, Abe was courteous to add oil and vinegar and salt and pepper to my sandwich. It was nice to see as Abe and Jasmine were working they were cleaning up after themselves. I like walking in a restaurant and seeing the it clean. A warm sandwich was exactly what I needed. Ordered a sandwich ahead of time. Got a great deal on a 3rd party platform (which shows that management cares about their customers on all channels). When I walked in, I had assumed I was early given I was ordering from across the street. Was immediately welcomed and was asked the name of my pick up order. Once the kind gentleman realized my order was not ready, he was polite in asking me about if I needed a bag or not. I could tell it was the start of their lunch rush by the line of people that started to accumulate. The gentleman also asked about my ordering experience and wanted to make sure I wasn't overpaying. Came here for lunch the other day and I normally order on the app ahead of time but decided to just order at the store since I was already in the area. It seems like there was some disputes/arguments going on with the employees in front of customers which wasn't professional at all. It was a relatively short line yet it took almost a good 5 minutes for the employees to even recognize that there were people in line. The sandwich itself was fine but I felt they were a little skimpy with the meats and cheese. Definitely need some improvement on the customer service side of things but I could have just went in on a bad day too. read more

This is one of our go to places. We enjoy the food and they treat us well. The two that we're out front working also very pleasant. Today I called Jersey Mikes on 24th St & Baseline in Phx AZ and the associate that answered the phone took my phone order. I ordered a giant Philly with double meat and the associate said that the total would be $20 and change, I said ok. 5 minutes later I recieved a phone call from the same associate saying that he made a mistake on the price and wanted to make sure if the new price of $26 and change would be ok before making my sandwich, I said that was find and that my wife would be there in 15 minutes. When my wife went in to pay they told her that the total was $35 so she called me to verify and I that was to much for a sandwich and had her leave with nothing. After my wife arrived home I called and ask for the Mgr and the Mgr said even though his staff made an error and we didn't want to pay the $35 he was going to throw the already made sandwich away. WOW! Instead of taking the $9 dollar loss because of a total that had changed twice by his staff he would rather let a customer leave disappointed and to never patronize Jersey Mike's again. I had made an order here and upon receiving it ... it was drenched in oil and vinegar. Not just a bit overdone or anything ... it was soaked all the way through the bottom bread and still puddling oil at the bottom of the wrapper. There is a level of understanding I can have with someone adding a bit too much oil and vinegar to a sandwich and then there is this .... This is beyond just messed up, it was basically like dunking the entire sandwich in a cup of oil/vinegar and then serving it. I'm usually reasonable when it comes to food prep and mistakes , but this wasn't just someone putting a bit extra on the sandwich ... this was levels above that type of mistake. I don't know if it was someone's last day working or what but I can't even wrap my head around how bad this was. It had to have had a full cup of oil and vinegar in the sandwich... I had a good 4-5 tablespoons leak out on my countertop alone when I opened the wrapping of the sandwich..... and that's just what the bread wasn't able to absorb because it was inundated with liquid. I tried to just take the bottom of the sandwich off hoping the middle and top of the sandwich would be okay to eat .... Nope. There was liquid dripping out of the lettuce area of the sandwich and even the top was slightly wet too... I rarely write a bad review for a business or even attempt to contact their store / corporate office with a complaint but this is one of the few times that has got me that irked to do it. This did not feel like a simple mistake this was well above that. Edit: The manager reached out and offered to amend the situation. Adjusted the rating to 3 stars for now from 1 until I can judge the quality again. Very quick communication at least! read more

So my husband and I went to Jersey Mikes on Wednesday last week. It all started out wrong. The meat cutter was filthy. My husband asked the guy to please clean it before cutting meat for us. He reluctantly did. I ordered the Club with extra provolone cheese and add bacon. The cheese wasn't close to extra and the bacon had an after taste like it had been just sitting in grease. My husbands sandwich was lackluster as well with just a little roast beef. We just had the e act same sandwiches the week before and they were AWESOME. 2/13/23- I called in an order tonight for a 43 chipotle cheesesteak with no peppers or onions. Then when i got it home it was burnt chicken cheesesteak which i did not order. So i called them to try to have this fixed. I'm 9 months pregnant and really was craving this Philly cheese steak. They said on the phone they would remake it then when i got there it had onions on it so they remade it again and put so many peppers the sandwich was soggy sweet and not edible. It has been awhile since I have yelped, but I think it's important to continue...so I am back. With the pandemic, I try to pack patience because I know many restaurants are short staffed and good workers are hard to find. However, my expectations are not very high for fast food restaurants but I do not appreciate being ripped off. I ordered a #14, regular veggie online and upon arrival and specified time, it wasn't ready. Worst of all, my sandwich included bread, cheese, Mayo and jalapeños. It was supposed to have lettuce, onion, cheese, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, oregano, salt, Mayo (I asked for no bell pepper....well, that got that piece right) You be the judge....do you think this veggie was worth $8.20? Attn: Manager My husband went in today 2/13/2023 and ordered my usual sub (Philly Cheesesteak) he asked to substitute the sweet peppers for fresh green peppers-as I've always done in the past with no issues. The lady told him it already came with green peppers and completely disregarding his request. She looked at the other lady working there who also agreed and both had a look on their face of disgust which of course made my husband feel dumb for even asking. He said again "just make sure it's just with the green peppers" He got home and sure enough it had the sweet peppers along with green peppers but that's not what he had asked for in the first place! He then went back and was treated very rudely. She told him, this is the way we make them so what do you want to do about it? He said I'd like a sub the way I asked for in the first place. She was highly annoyed and grabbed the sub and threw it right across into the trash. The third lady working asked her what she threw away and she respond with "don't worry about it" She made our sub, slapped it on the counter. My husband had to be the one to say "thank you, have a nice night" to HER and all she said was "uh huh" . She didn't care to apologize for anything. It was a very disappointing experience and I don't think we will return. My husband said there were 3 ladies working tonight at around 8:30pm. Please let them know they were beyond rude and unprofessional. I would never let them make my sandwich again. A little more communication in the beginning would have avoided all of this. read more

I normally have a good experience at this location. I was disappointed on the time it took to get my online order. It was to be done in 15 min from the time if the order. I normally get there and my order is ready. Just lately it's been slow. This particular day it was busy at lunch, I waited 30 min before I stood in line to order ashes about my order. They were disorganized , a girl hair looked a mess like it wasn't combed afraid a hair would land in my sandwich, and my sandwich was just sitting there not complete. Tonight I go in and order a sub and the girl puts on gloves and then uses a dirty towel to clean off the counter and then continues to use the same gloves to make my sandwich. Paid $22 for this to be delivered through door dash. When I called to request it remade I had the WORST experience with their staff member Amaya. Asked for the managers number she kept repeating it so fast... then hung up. I called back and another girl Sydney got on the phone and said she's the one that made it and didn't seem to believe me so I asked for her cell phone number to send a photo of it. She then passed the phone back to the rude lady Amaya and told me they can't do anything to contact door dash. I ended up calling their general manager who said I can re-request it through their app so I don't pay the second time for it.... I'm not the kind of person to get mad over food but what a hell of a poor experience for a sandwich and too much effort. Definitely not going to this location nor do i even want to order from that sandwich. The after math of the situation was that Sydney the nice girl who made the food reached out to me to deliver it herself during her break but I was not comfortable providing my address. I then randomly got a call from a man who said he was the "district manager" who asked for my credit card number to refund me.
