So I don't come to In-N-Out regularly usually when my daughter's visiting twice a year I'm there maybe four times when she returns to California and when she exits California. And on those trips, I don't normally order anything. This is her treat. She looks forward to it. I had a large order for a work crew at my home so I decided to order something and I ordered from the secret menu cause I am vegetarian and thought this would be cool. I ordered ,at least, five burgers, five fries, five drinks, in addition, to a veggie burger and animal style fries. A veggie burger was fine. now that I've tried it. I could get it prepared the way I want, I forgot the condiments, I didn't think of all the additions I could've added. This location is next to (west of) the 110 Fwy. & very crowded... it's different than its sister locations in that it's more for takeout (with dual drive-thrus) than hanging out due to the very limited seating indoors & out. It's not my fav location due to the proximity to the freeway (cough, cough) & congested lines. I think I only dined onsite once, & I can't remember if there's a restroom or where it's located. The dining space is horizontally tight with 2-person tables, seating 10. When there's a line (& there's almost always a line) & the seats are taken, it's a tight squeeze to order, wait for your order, & pick-up your food inside. However, the staff is super efficient in fulfilling your order ASAP for you to enjoy a hot, juicy burger with crisp fries. It's a simple menu of hamburgers & cheeseburgers, fries, & drinks that's executed well. If you need a combo, just ask for 1, 2, or 3; there's no discount with combo orders. Prices used to be really cheap in comparison with other fast food burger places, & it's a decent, satisfying portion. What sets In & Out Burger apart? It's their fresh, quality burgers that are never frozen, so there's no freezers or microwaves; in addition, fries are hand-cut daily, & buns are baked locally. Can't believe I haven't reviewed this location since it's one that we frequent. Very small inside if you decide to do that but probably 90-95% of people who come here do the drive thru. Lines can get long but staff always working hard to you on your way. It's In-N-Out so of course the burgers are delicious. A Double-Double with a whole grilled onion is my go to. We actually accidentally routed to the wrong location and not only were we surprised we were at the wrong one, we stumbled upon the smallest and most interesting In-N-Out Burger we've ever seen. To set the scene: the indoor capacity is 14, the restrooms are outside and you need a code, there is no soda or water fountain and you have to ask for it, there is no ketchup station and you have to ask for it, there is no napkin dispenser and you have to ask for it. In addition, the location is right off the freeway so lines for the drive-through go out to the street. During rush hour it's really difficult to go in and out (pun intended) of the small parking lot. The inside was quiet but the workers are so close together so you hear them working in the kitchen. They even announced how many people were ordering as we walked up which is something I've never seen at an In-N-Out. We got our standard orders of burgers and fries and the food was fine. However the whole experience at this location just took me for a loop. The food will still be what you expect but other than that you won't find any of the typical creature comforts you'd find at other locations. read more

In-N-Out suffers because of their lack of modernity in my opinion. I like their fries, but that's almost their only vegan option. I do think their staff at this location provides good service. Yeah this is definitely by far the worst location I've ever been to. I gave it a couple tries, and they never fail to disappoint, rather I walk up or go through the drive thru. Today I went through the drive thru which took almost 40 minutes so I certainly wasn't in and out. So the drive through has 2 lines, and the guy literally took the other lines order before coming to me and I was ahead of 2 cars. He came to me and said "give me one moment, I'll be right with you", and proceeded to walk off behind me and took their orders, then came back to me. I did not like that and they definitely were out sooner than I was. When I got to the window a nice lady told me my total and asked if I wanted any ketchup, so I said yes and told her the additional condiments I needed. As she was walking away, a guy quickly intervened and handed me a bag letting me know that all the condiments I wanted were there with my fries. But it felt like he was rushing me to go. Later when I looked, it was just a bunch of sticky ketchup packets stuck together. They were clearly old and reused and I just couldn't believe how bad of an experience I had. This is a small no frills location, more to-go and drive through than an ample dine in style In-N-Out, but that's what good hamburgers from what is marketed as a drive through, is all about. Inconsistent standard practice. I pulled in from the opposite direction to the drive thru and it was very clear the other driver who had the right away wanted to stay in a specific lane. I drove to the other lane only to be advised that I can't do that and I can order inside instead. This one is closest to my house. Food is the same at every chain. There better not be any new version at any other chain. You complain you had to wait 30 minutes for in and our burger. Very friendly workers that create an inviting atmosphere. My car shut down in the drive though right before I was going to pull up to the window to pay my meal. An amazing worker named Marc stepped out and helped my cousin push my car out the drive though. This allowed for traffic to keep flowing without my car causing a disturbance which saved me from embarrassment. He gave my car a jump start and solved my problem. All the staff here so far has been kind. Their service is amazing, very speedy and accurate. I've been to In-N-Out in the past and enjoyed the food. However, on this business trip I was disappointed with the food quality. No problem finding parking during the lunch hour during my visit. The line moved fairly quickly, and the counter service was great so 5-stars there. When my order was ready, I contemplated sitting inside but there were only a few tables and the customer lineup crowds up against them, so I opted to eat outside at one of the tables there. Besides, the weather was great so why not. Upon unpacking my order, I found the burger to be on the dry side and the fries were cold. I took less than a minute to pick up my food from the counter and sit at the table, so everything should have been freshly cooked. Yes, I could have gone back inside and gave them a chance to make it right, but I didn't have the time to get back in line and wait. But this location just sucks overall. Overall space is tiny. There isnt enough space for the drive-thru. Cars were waiting out on the median divider. Indoor seating area? Ghetto. We can smell the burning grease and kitchen exhaust. I understand that they should prioritize drive-thru customer but all dine-in customers were waiting around 30 minutes to receive their orders. I'm giving two stars only because my food was made exactly as I ordered, with barley any issues in quality. However, the service I received was unacceptable. The restaurant was not busy there were no long lines or extended wait times yet the staff member handling my order was extremely rude and unprofessional. He appeared frustrated, forgot my order, and raised his voice to confirm it, even though his colleague had already repeated it correctly. I also watched him bag my food and then leave it sitting there while serving other cars before finally handing it to me. We came here because we hadn't had a good burger in such a long time. We were looking forward to a nice "dine-in," experience along with some great burgers. We came here famished straight out of a hike, so we were excited for some In-n-Out! While the customer service was stellar and we barely got to enjoy some of our food, a very dirty person with a blanket came in. The stench of this person just ruined our appetites. I really think that hygiene should be a requirement because we were both gagging to the horrible odor. The hubby ordered a double double animal style and a large pink lemonade. Our food was hot made to order. I didn't catch the name of the girl at the window who worked at 4pm but she was awesome too. I pulled into the drive through at about 12:15 on Fr 4/5. My order taker was just OK. She came across as friendly enough but somewhat disingenuous. I ordered a triple meat and was asked at least twice if I wanted cheese. I found that kind of annoying since I specifically asked for a triple meat but maybe my annoyance was a result of being hungry. My order was taken correctly but was prepared incorrectly. I brought that to the attention of the employee at the hand out window who had it corrected expeditiously. The gal who told me my total up and left when I went to hand her my payment and did not return for a good 30 or 45 seconds. She did apologize though and finally took my payment.
