Wienerschnitzel might honestly serve one of the best chili dogs out there. It's accessible with multiple locations, and it even holds up well through DoorDash. They get the buns right, soft and not overly toasted, which complements the chili perfectly. I'm glad I discovered this chain. It makes for a satisfying evening dinner sometimes, even if it is not the healthiest option. I especially want to rave about my DoorDash order. This was my second time ordering via delivery, and the dogs really hit the spot. I went all in and ordered the Bigfoot fries along with three chili dogs. The Bigfoot fries were heavily loaded with toppings and came in a generous portion. It was a lot of food. Their fries are fridge stable too. I was surprised the first time about fridge stability but Ive done this before so I was expecting it already. Ordered on Wednesday and reheated the leftovers on Friday night, and they tasted almost as good as they did the first night. Very impressed. read more

If you're going to order a chili dog, take your own chili with you. I ordered a chili dog with onions, I got an onion dog.

The food is what you'd expect from here - all American corn dogs and chili dogs, and they're offering a lot of fun summer drinks. The service is poor and not customer-friendly. I placed my order and stated that I have a coupon for a free corn dog. When I came up to the window, I was given the total and blindly handed my credit card. I realized that I was charged for the corn dog, and the worker at the window would not reimburse me or give me another corn dog for free. The employees need to listen better and when told that the customer has a coupon, that should be entered on the computer and later when the customer pulls up to the window, the employee should ask to see the coupon. What's the point of getting corporate emails about fun incentives if the employees aren't going to promote or honor the coupon. read more

Let me start by saying I grew up coming to this place, so it's disappointing to have to write this. I recently stopped by with my sisters while in the area, and the experience was really off-putting. The woman who took our order did not wear gloves or use tongs when preparing the food. We watched as she placed an all-beef hot dog in the microwave with her bare hands, and on a very hot day, she grabbed my fries by cupping the bag--again, with her bare palm directly touching my food. The lack of gloves or utensils was honestly gross. On top of that, the chili on the hot dogs was almost nonexistent. Are they trying to save money by skimping on the toppings? Overall, it was a huge letdown, and sadly, I won't be coming back. read more

I grew up eating Wienerschnitzel as a kid. I have fond memories of scarfing down their chili cheese fries, chili cheese burgers, chili cheese dogs and corn dogs well into my 20's. I don't frequent Wienerschnitzel as much these days, but there are days when the craving hits...and when it does, I hit up this location. The South Bay has quite a few stores, but this location tops them all. It's an older store, and the building is showing its age. But man, these guys deliver some of the most consistent and freshly prepared Wienerschnitzel food. The fries and corn dogs are usually fresh and hot. You can feel the heat coming out of the bags when they hand it to you. 5 stars for execution, consistency and delivering quality fast food. read more

So Yesterday 1/11, I ordered 2 chili cheese burgers without the bun and 2 chili cheese hotdogs without the bun and a corn dog. When I got back to work there was only 1 meat patties inside the box. I was already at work and didn't want to go through the hassle of going back and complaining. Today, my stupid self decided to go back because my cravings weren't satisfied and of course I plan to let them know about my order from the previous day. When I got to the food window, I told the cashier Laura P. And she was very argumentative and kept saying that she gave me everything that I ordered. Wowzers! She was extremely rude and just to let you know I'm very chill person. So we got passed that as I wasn't looking to argue and I told her I wasn't trying to get my meat patties that I was charged for yesterday...I just wanted to make them aware of their mistake. Afterwards I ordered 4 double chili cheese burgers and a corn dog. As I was driving off, I checked the contents and it was 4 double CHEESEBURGERS not Chili cheese!!!! I went back again, and told them of the mistake and once again she was combative and kept on saying I said it 6 times on the intercom. No way, she didn't. I gave her my 2 bags back and I can hear her mumbling something about my order to the cook. 4 minutes later I got my food back and checked, great it's my chili cheeseburgers! NO NO No!!! Once I opened and started eating, I noticed there's onions, mustard, and ketchup! They reused the old meat patties and poorly scraped off the old toppings and just added chili's on top! Located off Carson St. in Carson. Small lot few parking due to this one being a drive through as well. They do have a dining area to sit and eat. Ordering is on the outside. The dining area is opened till 10pm and Drive thru is till 12am so those are some good points for this location. Not a bad location just short on parking but good on driving through where I believe most of the transactions are. read more

I attempted to purchase $17 worth of items. I accidentally dropped one of my sundae's attempting to open the stiff door, kindly asked to get a new sundae, but cashier lady denied it. Wasn't so hard to make another one, she preferred to lose $17. I'm assuming that location sells really well to easily give up $17 in revenue. read more

I generally end up at Wienerschnitzel when I'm in the mood for hot dogs. This ones the closest to my house on Carson just ahead of Numero Uno market. It is a small place with about 5 parking slots on the side but I've always found them to be empty as most customers order via the drive through. I generally get the chili dog ($1.99), chill burger ($1.99) and chili cheese fries combo ($2.49). The chili dogs and chili burger is excellent but you could skip the chili cheese fries if you plan to order a-la-carte as they are below average. They also have a daily special desert menu from which I end up getting the freeze which is $1.99 on Saturdays. They accept cards without minimums which is another plus. Fast service, reasonable prices and good location keep me coming back periodically to satisfy my hot dog cravings. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS! THEY ARE INCONSISTENT, I say this because today I decided to stop by and have some lunch. I have been coming here for a very long time and each time I use my student ID for a discount. Today however I was unable to use my STUDENT ID because it had a 2018 sticker. I am still in attendance at my college the sticker simply indicates when I received my ID it does not say it is expired. In the past I have used an older STUDENT ID that said I received it in 2012. I love the $5 for 5 chili dog special that Wienerschnitzel has been having for quite awhile now. I am not a huge fan of chili dogs.. but, I love pretzels. And what's not to love if you can have BOTH? I get the $5 for 5 chili dogs and upgrade to pretzel buns for $0.50 each. Ends up costing a little over $8 with tax. We took our time getting home last night after making our purchase, and even while doing other things in the house before eating.. found our pretzel bun chili dogs to be PIPING HOT still (we barely could hold them in our hands). This location is Conveniently located right on Carson (closer to the Vermont side of the plaza) near the supermarket, drive thru is always quick, and fast service.
