Honestly, the food here is great! The broth is super flavorful without being too overpowering, and the portion sizes are actually perfect if anything, you get quite a lot of food for what you're ordering. The drinks are really good too! They're more on the lighter side when it comes to cocktails, but still good nonetheless. The restaurant itself is very cozy, modern-looking, and honestly pretty inviting! Service overall was good, but the food runners looked like they hated their job lol. No smiles or anything, and when we asked which meat was which... he kind of looked like he was guessing. I don't blame him though because I couldn't recognize the meats either! Overall, great food, good drinks, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely would come back!

Soup bowl/warmer is located at the middle of the table. I was not leaning over it, so I don't think the hair in my food came from me

I really love eating here -- the food quality and vibes are great. Service is fast too. Overall, the meal was good, but it ended on a disappointing note. After cooking my lettuce in the sukiyaki broth, I found a hair tangled in it. The soup warmers are built into the middle of the table, so it's not like I was leaning over my food all night where it could have reasonably been my own hair. It completely killed my appetite and put a sour end to what had otherwise been an enjoyable meal. To their credit, the manager came over quickly, apologized, and gave us 20% off the bill. I appreciated that they addressed it without any argument. That said, the contaminated food wasn't removed or replaced, and finding a hair in my food is unfortunately what I'll remember most about the experience. I hope it was just an isolated incident, but it definitely left a bad impression.

This was my first time trying a hot pot restaurant, and it was a great experience! After being seated, you simply scan the QR code on the table, and everyone can place their own order from their phone, which makes it really convenient. The restaurant is beautiful inside, and the tables are spacious. If you've never had hot pot before, I think this is a great place to try it. They offer a huge variety of sauces, meats, vegetables, and side dishes, so there's something for everyone. The portions of vegetables were generous, and everything tasted fresh. I would definitely come back!

I'm obsessed with the Yuzu Shio broth! It's bright, refreshing, and unlike any broth I've had before. The Classic Set for Two gives us than enough food to share. Looove the Wagyu Beef Toro. The modern, spacious dining room has an upscale feel, while the cozy booth seating keeps the moment warm and intimate. The workers are kind and attentive. A great experience all around! Bookmark this spot for your next casual meal or date night :)

Have been waiting for this place to open for months! Clean, spacious interior paired with efficient staff. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and I noticed that they have halal meat options, which is fantastic and inclusive of them. The Tom Yum soup base is delicious and the Sichuan Spicy is crazy spicy!

I'm absolutely blown away by how consistently well-cut and delicious the meat is. The Australian chuck eye roll and Toro are must tries. The presentation is also outstanding. We ordered two of the Classic for 2 platters, which ended up being more than enough for the three of us. We tried four different soup bases, and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite was the Buttery Spicy. The vegetables were fresh, and there was a huge selection of garnishes and sauces to go with the food. The staff was kind, attentive, and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

Came across this place while looking for something to eat at Del Amo and I was so satisfied leaving here Very minimalistic clean decor, kind of gives me desert dune vibes, I love the open concept partial kitchen in the middle of the restaurant Nice customer service, they explain all your options and how to order by their QR code and food came out pretty quickly I'm obsessed with the yuzu shio broth!! It's a must-try especially if you're into yuzu ramen, get it with the house ramen noodles. The single meat portion was perfect for me unlike mokkoji where I'm usually craving more. They include lots of variety in the veggie bowl and the 2 included sides help contribute to the fullness satisfaction

We came on Saturday around 2pm. We have been seeing this location coming soon for years so we were excited to come try it. There was no wait. This is NOT all you can eat. You see the menu and decide which to bring out. We got the option for two that was $77 before paying. The total after tip was around $87 We got all the food pictured. This entire set up is set for you not to interact with the staff. You scan a QR code to get the menu and order all your stuff. Then they bring out everything. Someone walks around refilling your water regularly. She was the reason I gave it the fifth star since she was the only person checking in on us. Without her this would have been a four star review. It would have been a four star review due to the amount of questions we had. The person at first knew we were knew but didn't really explain much and when he did he was covering his mouth with the phone. Being hard of hearing it was hard to hear. Esp since it gets very noisy here. The food was tasty. Feels like a bit hit filled me and my guy and we love to eat. If you are looking for a hot pot place and have a budget of at least $60 for two whole you should try this place out. Esp since you may get a free ice cream if you leave a review.

Recently opened at del amo mall! It's really spacious inside and the service is memorable. Their waitstaff frequently checked on us which was nice. We got the combo for 2 which was more than enough for us and our two little ones. The meat selection here is broad and we liked each cut that we ordered. The combo comes with a big plate of veggies too! We barely finished it lol Definitely coming back.

We came around 5:30 on a monday and were seated immediately. The vibes are so new and sleek. Love that we can make our own sauce combo and they even have recommended recipes. My friend and I ordered the combo for 1 each ... we were hungry. She finished hers. I didnt. They give a generous amount of sides and veggies and the meat are top quality! The food came out extremely quickly. The Yuzu soup base was top notch! Definitely go for that. Parking was easy as its connected to del amo mall. Its near the outside portion of the mall by AMC.

I cam here on a Tuesday night and there was no wait for a party of two! The inside is super spacious and clean. I've come here a few times before and every time I would get their recommended portion for two people, I'd always be super full with a lot of vegetables left over. This time I split their single portion and just added another broth for a still filling but not as wasteful meal. If you don't eat that much then I would definitely recommend sharing a single portion. My favorite broth is the sichuan spicy and I'll keep coming back just for that broth. If I'm getting overwhelmed by spice the teriyaki is a wonderful broth as well. You order through a QR code and it's an automatic 18% tip if you forget to check out.

New Hot Pot place at Del Amo fashion center! I like they have combo for 2people to share that's $75 which is reasonable. They also have a single combo. They all come with veggies, sides and unlimited sauce. No it's not AYCE. But it's good. Meats are thinly sliced and I like we have our own bowling soup.

Aesthetically pleasing hot pot experience! Joined the waitlist for a party of 2 on a Thursday night around 7pm and only waited about 10-15 minutes. There wasn't much of an introduction or instruction for first timers, but we managed. They come around often for water refills and chicken broth when your soup gets low. We got The Classic for 2! We ordered an extra side of noodles and rice which was plenty. Their sauce bar with suggested recipes for deliciousness was amazing. We tried their Yuzu Shio & Sukiyaki soup bases which were so tasty. They have a modern, industrial minimalist design with tables fit for small to large groups. Located on the outside of the Del Amo, I'd definitely recommend trying it out for a more upscale hot pot night out!

Lively joint, tons of decorations, musica blasting, whistles blowing, etc. Looking good... Promptly seated and greeted by staff. Drink orders placed relatively quickly and delivered not quite as quickly. I thought, "thats ok", as they were a tad busy. Not packed, but busy. Afterwards, I also requested additional chips, which BTW, never arrived... That is where it started a slow roll downhill that quickly spiraled into a steep hill, no brakes situation. After 15 or so minutes, our server, who shall remain anonymous, takes our order. Pretty simple, the camarron tacos for me, fajitas for the wife. They arrive, again about 15 min later so, not too bad. As for the food, I can only speak on behalf of my tacos and I must say, they were very enjoyable. Wifey said the fajitas were "bland and not well seasoned". A very basic "just ok". I only finished two of the three tacos. Then, literally after we had both been finished for at least 20 min, our server comes back and asks if we would like anything else. At this point obviously not... And by this time, after having already been there for nearly an hour and a half, (with only 2 hrs in the meter across the street), we asked for a box for my remaining taco and the check. Well guess what, pardon the pun but Houdini reappears (or not) and it's at least another 15 minutes before he comes back with the check and doggie box. Was gonna pay cash on the bill but it would have resulted in a tip much more than he deserved... Ended up with 8 minutes on the meter. We will never come back to this location. I will patronize my preferred location in Pedro...

Apparently, everyone else in the South Bay had the same idea because the place was absolutely humming. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, just be patient. Fortunately, we had reservations and were quickly seated in a roomy table tucked away in the back corner. It turned out to be prime real estate: enough privacy for conversation, but still a great vantage point to take in the entire restaurant. The patio out front might be even better, though, if you're into people-watching. Catalina Avenue on a Friday night offers no shortage of entertainment. But for our group, this table was perfect. The interior has a warm, industrial feel, exposed brick, dark wood, metal accents, garage-style doors, and televisions scattered throughout. Oddly, the Dodgers game wasn't on. Maybe they don't get SportsNet LA. I never bothered to ask because the conversation at our table was far more enjoyable. Let's address the elephant in the room: Friday-night service. The place was packed, and our server was clearly running a marathon. He's usually stationed behind the bar, sports a sleeve of tattoos, looks super fit, and carries a permanent smile. He worked hard all evening, but there were some significant stretches where my Ikasu Ikasu West Coast IPA ($11) sat empty with no rescue in sight. A man can only stare sadly at an empty pint glass for so long. We started with the poutine fries, crispy fries loaded with gravy, skirt steak, mornay sauce, Gruyère, and green onions. They were outstanding and disappeared so quickly that I remembered to take a photo only after the massacre had already occurred, see my picture, LOL. Our server redeemed himself with his entrée recommendation: The Philly. Thinly sliced ribeye, grilled onions, sweet and hot peppers, house sauce, all piled into a sesame roll. It was fantastic, messy, savory, and exactly what you want from a cheesesteak. My wife paired a Harmonia Mango Wheat ($11) with the Blue Cheese Avocado Burger ($20), a hefty seven-ounce burger topped with melted blue cheese, grilled onions, avocado, applewood bacon, and arugula. She was a happy camper. Our friends split the same burger and also ordered the hummus appetizer, adding filet mignon on top. Excellent call, I snuck a few bites! To their credit, at the end of the evening our server came back to the table, apologized for the pacing, and made amends with a complimentary Crafted Cookie: a warm chocolate-chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. At the end of the day, restaurants are about more than perfect timing and topped-off beers. They're about sharing stories, laughing with friends, and breaking bread with people you enjoy being around. The service had its ups and downs, but the food was solid, the atmosphere lively, and Riviera Village on a summer Friday night is hard to beat.

"Ah yes... the Rusty Nail," say some. "Old, Archaic, Weathered," say others. Let them speak. It is one of the oldest cocktails in recorded history. Gifted by Bonnie Prince Charlie to Clan McKinnon, Drambuie has been cherished and revered in the Highlands since the mists of time gathered - borne through glens, over bens, and carried through generations of clansmen. It is not for the timid. It is for those who have watched storms roll in, seen vast armies gather, and still laughed in the face of death - because they know that their bloodlines are carved from stone. For after all - The strength, courage, and battle across centuries cannot be wrong. Drambuie warms this Highlander's heart . Sweet as legend, fierce as loyalty - akin to firelight of a distant hall hidden in misty glens. Aye... the Rising of the '45 is a tale for another night. But this night belongs to the Rusty Nail.

They gave very generous salad portions The grilled salmon was good, well cooked and flavorful. The green beans were definitely overcooked. The ribeye was good (needed some salt though) definitely better with the horseradish than the chimichurri. The ribeye with chimichurri was a special, but the chimichurri did not have much flavor. The baked potato was good, the mash potatoes were ok, I expected a stronger garlic flavor. The shrimp was flavorful but overcooked. The mac n cheese was not creamy, it seemed like just cheese and noodles. Very oily but a generous portion. Overall the best food imo was the mushrooms and salmon. The service was very slow, but they were understaffed so our waitress seemed to be doing all of the work. She was very apologetic about it This place is very old school, and definitely appeals to an older crowd.

It is ever so comfortable and the bartenders and all of the staff are great. You will love it. They have these sweet cocktails like something you would get in Hawaii. Be careful, don't drink too much of them or a nasty hangover you will have. They have regular cocktails as well and some nice sodas. You will love the way the Hula Hula Room is decorated. It is just an escape from LA life. It is only open until midnight so keep that in mind. It can get crowded and I don't think they take reservations. Call them and ask. Oh, and you can have a wee sample of the cocktail before you order it. I have not had them all. I don't drink much. But this place is a great time.

Since it was my first visit, the bartender walked us through the menu and shared some great recommendations. They even let us sample the frozen drinks before we ordered. We got the matchamacallit, makahiki mua, frozen ube, and frozen dole whip. Every drink was creative and delicious. This is the perfect spot for a laid-back night out. It's casual and relaxed, but with a lively atmosphere (there's a DJ) and excellent tiki cocktails.

We came in for drinks and dinner and ordered quite a few drinks throughout the evening -- 3 Old Fashioneds, a Sancerre, 2 vodka martinis, a Pinot Grigio, a bourbon, and more. The bartender's attitude from the beginning was awful. Not welcoming, not friendly, and honestly made us feel like ordering drinks was somehow an inconvenience. On top of the attitude, several of our orders were forgotten or simply never came, and we repeatedly had to follow up. When you're spending money on cocktails, wine, dinner, and an evening out, basic hospitality should not feel like something you have to beg for. What made it worse is that the place itself has so much potential. I walked in excited and left thinking, "I absolutely would not come back here." A restaurant can have a great atmosphere, beautiful decor, and a good menu, but service can completely ruin the experience -- and unfortunately, that's exactly what happened tonight. Really disappointing...
