I was on the way to Las Vegas and opted to visit the Victorville location instead of the more popular Barstow location because (1) I was hungry as hell and didn't want to wait and (2) everyone goes to Barstow and I didn't want to wait long for my food because of how huge that location is. Ordered a 3x3 animal style, which was great as usual. The one thing that I'll give them credit for is that they actually got my wacky animal fries creation (done light well) with chopped raw onions, whole grilled onion, and whole raw onion correct! They layered the chopped raw onions on top of the melted cheese, then the whole grilled onion, then the whole raw onion, and THEN they put the secret sauce on top. Made it look aesthetically pleasing. Of course, I also added a meat and cheese patty (ordered on the side) on top of that to finish it off. It worked out exactly like I had hoped for! We usually get takeout from this location as we're typically on our way somewhere so I can't comment on the dining room. This is a busy location but the drive through line moves quickly. There are a number of order takers posted outside to help the traffic flow well. The parking lot is smaller than other locations but the main street this location is located off of, is not congested and the location can be seen right off of the freeway. I had to take away stars because they messed up on our order, but they were efficient amount comping us. My daughter has dairy and egg allergy which we stated ahead of time, but when our burger came, it had some spread sauce on the bottom of the burger. I only noticed because I took her burger out to put ketchup on it. They could kill someone with severe food allergies. They should be more diligent with their cross contact procedures. We had to go back to get her order corrected, which took a huge chunk of additional time, and the workers ignored me when I initially tried to get their attention. They remade the burger, but this one had less tomatoes, and they forgot my basket had fries in it. The manager gave us a card that has money in it to use next time. By the time I made it back to the card, my daughter fell asleep. She ended up eating the cold burger and fries an hour later. Unfortunately, this is the closest In n Out to me. Normally, I'm okay with a hiccup or mistake or whatever, but this one tonight really sealed the deal, and I will no longer support this location. For context, it's a tuesday night. Typically, the slowest day for this location. I got a chocolate milkshake that tasted like cleaner. Chocolate cleaner. That's the flavor I was served. It's not the first time this has happened, albeit rare. Someone clearly did not clean their machine properly, and the chemical shake has made me incredibly ill on the back end. (If you know what I mean.) Next, I ordered two burgers, BOTH came severely undercooked. Like, they definitely cut minutes on those patties to save their drive-thru times. This one happens ALL THE TIME at this location. A little pink is fine but not totally pink n raw. That is unacceptable and massively unprofessional. Lastly, I ordered 2 animal fries. One normal, one without onion. Both came back with no onion, and one had half the cheese melted off the fry tray. This is obviously the least offensive one, but my golly talk about a trifecta of awfulness! Not only was my order completed wrong, but the meat was undercooked, and my drink was contaminated. Please do yourself a favor and do not eat here. There's a better location on Bear Valley Road and another on Main Street. Roy Rodgers will drop the ball regularly and make very shady attempts to cover it up. This is confirmed by current and former employees, and if anyone investigated, I'm sure there'd be big trouble. This occurred on 1/24/2023 Tuesday night, around 5:45pm. Customer service simply sent gift cards so I can get food poisoning again, so there's that, I guess. I will definitely spend it at a safer location. Again, a shame because it's the closest one to me but, alas, they have nearly killed me for the last time.
