This location was a mess on this last visit. The tables were dirty and no one wiped them down while we were there. There was ketchup all over the floor. I pointed it out to one of the staff and she just said she had to get a mop. She never came back from the time we waited for our food to the time we finished. My bun was burnt around the edges (I didn't end up eating it), but the fries and burger tasted good. This location is always super busy, both the drive through and inside. It can take a while to get your food. That being said they need to be more diligent about keeping the dining room clean. I'll probably pick another location in the future. read more

since the start of the year, meaning about 4 months ago, the fries have become not just inedible but absolutely disgusting. Besides the fact that these formerly well seasoned and cooked to perfection tasty, crunchy fries have now become saggy, tasteless and bland, like they were left out to dry for days, all the burnt or black parts of the potatoes have been left without being filtered out. And so, at least one third of the fries are impossible to eat. What used to be delicious has now turned into totally gross, and fit for the trash can. If a manager is reading, please start paying attention and stop the obvious decline of your establishment's quality, or else, you will go the same way as all the other restaurants in this day and age, and will eventually lose customers and be forced to close like the rest. Had to go in one more time before I left California. Busy at 3PM on a Friday inside and out. But they are always busy. The young man at the counter was very friendly and had a big smile. I do like that everyone appears happy and I see them all working and not standing around like I see at other fast food places. But as busy as they are I don't know how anyone could be standing around. I had the same as last time, a burger and shake. Both were great but the onions are still strong. Had to remove part of it. I don't normally leave reviews but my visit today was pretty disappointing. I added a pup patty at the window last minute and they said I'd have to wait which was fine. I heard the girl on the headset tell someone I ordered it at the first window and when I get to pickup window the girl hands me my order and I also remind her I had a pup patty as well she says ok pull around front and put your hazards on and someone will bring it right out. This is all still fine so I wait, three minutes go by people are looking at me weird through the glass another three minutes go by and at this point I decide I'm gonna just park and they can figure it out. If you know this location the parking lots already tight without a car blocking a handicap walkway and some spots with their hazards on. I park and wait another few minutes and decide to go in and ask about it and no one knows what I'm asking about. I hand the guy at the register my receipt for it and employees at the front were extremely apologetic but I'd have to wait a few minutes while they made it. I let him know I had my dog in the car and he said he'd bring it out, it came out quick after that but I wish the communication among the employees had been there from the beginning. Maybe don't say something to clear a window time and not follow through. I won't be back to this location again. read more

Even though it was great where we were prior food wise...After dancing and some time passing by we got hungry again! So we made a quick midnight snack visit and yup there was a full diner of diners AND of course a line of cars wrapped around. The nice girl took our order outside & read it back to us. Got to the window and the nice lady took our payment and read back our order to us again. I am new to California and have never been to an In-N-Out but am very familiar with the hype! I tend to come to this In-N-Out Burger late at night and it is always phenomenal. The workers are surpassingly always in a good mood and ready to make some delicious burgers! I like going inside this store because it's nostalgic for me. I always get a double-double animal style with whole grilled onions, chopped chilis, and an extra toasty bun. If I get fries, I ask for them to be well done. The burgers here have been the most consistent for me. I will continue to go here as long as I live. I'm a frequent patron of this specific place and after recently having throat cancer we I cannot have any spice at all (ketchup itself is spicy enough for me) this is the FOURTH TIME they have added chopped yellow chili peppers into my cheeseburger, I cannot explain how painful it is to get a bite of my burger and find out there's peppers in, the last time I went to the counter to tell them the kid shrugged his shoulders and said "you didn't ask for them?" The name In-N-Out has a truth-in-advertising issue because it is not 'in and out' service but has longer wait times than Denny's and other fast food eateries. On June 4th at 3 PM, we had a late lunch at the Frazee Road location and saw a customer stealing sodas using a water cup with a lid. We brought it to the attention of one of the staff, who was working on the floor, and he shrugged it off and said it wasn't coming out of his pocket. Customers should not have to pay to witness theft and encounter apathetic substandard customer service. I have also witnessed non-customer loitering which is not an environment that is comfortable for paying customers. I don't plan to return to In-N-Out because of theft and security issues. I want to give a shout-out to Adam the manager/lead at the In-N-Out in Vista. Came in around 11:15am with a very Big Order. Eleven separate orders for my work team. Adam was very nice and accommodating. He packed the orders himself and nicely labeled each bag with the corresponding orders. All orders came out hot and fresh. He even put them in a big box for easy transport. Also want to acknowledge Makenzie who was the poor cashier that had to take my very large order. She was so patient and nice about it all. Recently, their drive thru line has taken 30 minutes. This is a long time for any drive-thru but for in-n-out, it's not normal. They are known for being able to move people fast, but this location has been going slow. The strange thing is that the line has not been any longer than normal. Our French fries and my hamburger was more cool than warm. My Hubby's cheeseburger was more like a hamburger that had cheese thrown on it - like the burger maker said "oops, here's the cheese." Customer service in particular today 01/25/25 i came in around 8:30. It was horrible. The guy took my order wrong. I can't have bread. I always order my burger protein style. When I got home it had bread on it, no spread and lettuces, grilled onions or tomatoes . I was so disappointed. I was too lazy to go back I was home... they very cheap on lettuce on the hamburgers. They say they close at 1:30am showed up Friday morning at 1:05am they were already closed. Verified with a couple of other people who literally got out of their car from the line to check the hours on the door and yoy said 1:30am. The Peperoncino peppers also taste old for some reason here. With all this said just be straight up about your hours dont waste people's times saying you close at 1:30am on certain days but your staff is closing up early. read more
