I give it 5 stars on a fast food scale, because obviously I can't compare their food to restaurants with cooks preparing each meal. I often visit in n out, it's delightful. However, today's experience was not. Picture this, the line was long as usual. it's just past dusk (6:30) on the 25th of august. I was hungry , tired, and hungry. As we inch closer and closer we begin to hear several yells, coming from one car in particular. It was rather obnoxious to hear while we were stuck in this queue. The worker was a young girl Briana, very loudly antagonizing the young boys in this car, while shouting across to another group of young girls sitting outside laughing. She was shouting questions, asking the boys ages, and yelling back and forth in between taking orders between cars. I wanted to eat sooner , she delayed this process. I had to wait for her to acknowledge me for a few seconds since she was busy yelling. read more

Some of the staff okay while others are nicer, I'm not sure what that's about. The wait is long here, longer than other locations I've been to but that is okay. I've had to repeat my order multiple times to ensure it's not wrong or that I don't get someone else's food, my order isn't complicated just a double double meal. Always has been our main Oside In-N-Out! Throughout the decades I've been going here, the service, food quality, and time spent in line has been exceptional. Staff members have consistently been friendly, efficient, and fun. Really easy to wait in line inside or in the drive-thru. It's never that long because they move through both lines so quickly. Fast service for dine in and drive through is very limited line. Only can access the parking lot via north entrance and the south entrance blocked due to drive through. Parking is tough. There's so much hype with this place! Occasionally, we will grab some fries from here. They don't have vegan options but I have brought my own Beyond patty from home and just had the bun, lettuce, and tomato when my non-vegan family has requested to dine here. The fries are vegan friendly as they are cooked in a dedicated fryer. They also have a variety of fountain drinks to choose from. I wish that one day this place would have a vegan patty and vegan shakes! In the meantime, I head over to PlantPower fast food for my burger, fries, and shake fix. read more

Always my go-to burger joint. I've been coming here for over 10 years and the service here is always phenomenal. Super friendly workers and fast. My order here is always the double double cheeseburger with extra toast buns & grilled onions with a side of animal fries. I think I started getting it so much that my husband also always gets the same burger order as me now! The one thing I love about In-n-Out is that their prices never change and it's convenient to stop here after the gym. It's always cheap to order 2 combos and you typically never spend more than $20 for a meal here, which is how I keep my cheat days cheap. I've probably ate inside a couple of times, and it's always typically clean and crowded. I eat inside whenever I'm with friends and for celebrations which has been happening as a tradition over the span of 10 years of coming here :) read more

For starters, In-N-Out Burger has a truth-in-advertising issue because the name implies fast turnaround time but most times it's 'In-N-Wait'. The food quality comes up short of the hype. A month ago, while 'In-N-Waiting' for my order, I saw customers filling their water glasses with soft drinks, which is stealing. I mentioned it to an employee whose reply was that it wasn't coming out of his paycheck. In-N-Out lacks ethics and integrity, and not even the nostalgic classic car decor can't compensate. read more

Visiting from Florida - the reputation was known in advance, but had never been to any locations until around 8/14/2023. The food was exceptionally fresh and makes "The Golden Arches" in the dustbin of history (along with their surly, unwelcoming unpleasant staff at Mickey D's). Dining (first experience of two so far) was great - clean, with a great counter server (Nick) - friendly, helpful, I was not familiar with menu style. Very tasty for sure. Second visit was a day later with my wife; she wanted the same, but with the grilled onions. Both our burgers were fine but the staff left off onions. I asked the follow at the counter, and he promptly submitted an order with grilled onions. Unfortunately, we were there at dinner time. The store was crowded with dozens of 3 and 4 year olds, barefoot, and as noisy as a Texas Roadhouse. That aside, fun, delicious, pleasant, 100% recommended. read more

Their staff are always super friendly and polite, the lines move quickly, the call your number loudly and clearly, and you always see them cleaning. A place for great burgers and fries is always In-N-Out - at all locations. We often visit the Oceanside location at Frazee Road and Hwy 76 in North Oceanside. Expect the restaurant to be very busy. The drive up line is crazy long, and I always save time by ordering inside. They have Fast ordering, and then you wait because they are so busy. Watch the well trained workers coordinate and work hard and fast. Food is well priced below the other burger places and much better in quality and quantity. The interior is very clean and offers plenty of tables and counters. In-N-Out has a limited menu , so the owners have kept prices down. You really are in for treat if you have never been. You will return often and skip the "other" burger places and their high prices. read more

I am writing this review to report a case of FOOD POISOINING at this location (Frazee Rd). I had 2 double doubles around 12:30 am, before closing. 3 hours later I was puking it all up. Symptoms match short term onset food poisoning that can be caused by cross contamination or items (sauce) not held to temp. Which the spread was WARM when we all know cold items must be stored at the correct temp and if not can lead to food born illness. I will you all from pictures but be aware when eating at this location. I will not be returning. read more
