I've been here multiple times for dip manicures and gel pedicures. Up until yesterday I've always had a good experience. Don't get me wrong the quality of their services are great, my nails look beautiful! But I'm unhappy with the service itself. My tech was tugging on my fingers and was very rough in how she bent them. It was obvious she wasn't happy about doing my service even though she was the one who suggested the dip upgrade. She also made me change designs which I gladly did because I wanted to be accommodating to her as well. Additionally when I asked to get the acrylics shorter she replied "no i think that's good". I've been coming here on and off for the last four years and I used to always leave satisfied. However, the last six times my nails have broken within two days of getting them done. The last three visits I've left especially disappointed. The first one I had my nails done by Andrew. I usually get acrylics and he kept asking if I wanted to do dip which I kept replying no thank you. He was very pushy so I finally caved as I was getting irritated. They came out all different lengths and sizes, and bumpy. The second one was by Christine, which I went back to acrylics and they came out beautiful but one broke the next day. The last time was this last Saturday and I had Ann. She was super sweet but as she was doing my pedicure , she asked four different times if I wanted gel which I replied no thank you, just regular polish, all four times. Then she did a rebase on my nails. She told me she was putting the acrylic on them thicker so they won't break. I feel like my service was rushed (even though I booked an appointment for both a pedicure and rebase) they look super chunky and they're not polished all the way. I loved this place initially but I'm sad to say I probably won't be back. I spend a lot of money there every 2 weeks and I'm super disappointed in my overall experiences lately. read more

I needed a French manicure at the last minute for a trip, and they were able to accommodate me that same night. Why at the last minute? Because I'd been putting it off since my cuticles were painfully mutilated until I bled at a different salon and I was hesitant to go to ANY salon. But In Style was amazing! My nail tech was incredibly gentle and I didn't feel a thing as he worked on my cuticles. That is a first! And the manicure he gave me is perfect! Squared off the way I like, the right length, which he asked me about twice until we had it. No streaking, no bubbles, perfect. And the price was great -- $45 for a basic French Manicure. I couldn't find anything that had a "menu" of their services so I had to keep asking the nail tech and pricing seemed very unclear. They do dip nails I tried to ask if it was sanitary, if multiple clients dip in the same dip and got a look like she couldn't understand what I meant so after rewording a few times, I gave up. Yesterday I went to this salon for the first time. I was assigned to Sam. I am new to the area and like others have mentioned, utilized Yelp to find a good nail salon. First of all when Sam asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, by default I always respond, "just a basic pedicure." When I responded as such he looked at my calloused heels and said the basic pedi doesn't include buffing. WHAT!? Buffing has now become an 'upgrade'?? That's preposterous. My mani pedi was $45. That's the most I have paid in my entire life. To worsen things he buffed. And buffed. And buffed. And buffed. Them raw. I had tears in my eyes and told him it was getting too tender. He kept going. Please refer to pics. (Trying to figure out how to add pics). He buffed my feet raw in numerous places. I didn't want to tip at all but always feel obligated this day and age. I left him $5 and I'm regretful of that $5 now. I'm so upset. My feet hurt so bad now! They're buffed so raw. I've put triple antibiotic ointment on them with bandages to hope they heal quicker. I am so sad I spent $50 for these battle wounds. read more

They know so many customers by first name and always greet them when they come in. I've been seeing Hang for about three years and never book with anyone else. She's efficient and does beautiful work. I was able to bring her a photo of nails I wanted for a wedding I was attending and she was able to duplicate it perfectly. I almost don't want to write a review to selfishly keep this place all to myself! This place has everything I want in a nail salon and then some. I walked in without an appointment a little after 5:00, and didn't have to wait! I was immediately seated and then amused by the cute little pups! There were 2 shih tzus that must come with their owner to the salon often since a patron knew their names. They were quiet and well-behaved little fluffballs of cuteness. Sights, sounds and smells of nail salons are all over the place...but this one seems to have it figured out! There were two TVs on (on either side of the room) to watch while you are getting pedicures, but they weren't turned up too loud. I believe they also had some quiet pop music playing in the background, as well. The business smelled clean with no noxious odors coming from the mani tables...so either, no one was getting acrylics, OR they have a great ventilation system. Now for the good stuff...mani/pedi time! Firstly, I need different color options...and this place has TONS! I'm a little particular about the colors I like, and can't get too crazy (gotta keep it professional for my job). I can't seem to keep regular polish on my nails for long (last time I got a regular manicure, it lasted all of 4 hours before the polish chipped), so gel color options are a MUST for me. This place gots what I need. The actual manicure was done by Kelly, and she did a great job! NO CUTS!! WOOHOO! You'd think this would be something that all nail techs strive for, but I've had my cuticles cut by many other places...which makes for a painful experience (and no return customers). Kelly was careful, but meticulous, and my hands look great! I loved that she knew how to repair a broken nail with a sliver of silk wrap and glue. This is BY FAR my favorite method to repairing a broken nail. Super glue doesn't hold very long, so ask for this type of repair if you (like me) get tears. Another thing she did was put gloves on over the foil wrapped tips while soaking the old shellac/gel polish off. This kinda helped the nails "cook", which meant she didn't have to scrape and scrape to get the old polish off. It was incredibly easy to remove, and my nails didn't suffer any deep scratches with this removal process! I also had a pedicure while I was there, and enjoyed every minute of it. Water was the perfect temp. Massage was on muscles not on bones (you'd be surprised how often this is done incorrectly). The chair had a nice rolling, kneading massage option which helped melt the stress out of my back. And, my feet feel so soft and look so pretty! The only weird thing that happened was at the very end. I noticed a "$6 off $6 off shellac manicure" check in offer. So I pulled it up to show to Kelly before I had even checked in or clicked on the button. She came back and asked me to sign, but then a lady came over to tell me it was incorrect and that they shouldn't have given me the discount (since I did a combo, and it was for a manicure only). She said they would go ahead and give me the discount since the machine had already been run but told me to be aware for the next visit (I guess you can use the check in offer every time). I apologized saying I wasn't aware that it wasn't for the combo. She told me it was in the fine print, but it was ok this time. Then my nail tech told me the same thing. Then the owner who was working the next table over said all the same things. I get it, guys! Don't need to tell me 3 times! It was kind of embarrassing...like they thought I was trying to get away with ripping them off. Oye. Would that keep me from going back? Absolutely not! They did a great job. But, word to the wise, ONLY use the check in deal if you are ONLY buying a manicure. Now that I know, hopefully I'll avoid any other SNAFUs in the future! read more

Big and lots of stations but be sure to call ahead as you might have to wait a long time on the weekends etc. I have been here 4-5x and it's not super consistent but overall, they do a good job. It's so big and busy that often I have trouble relaxing. Massages on pedicures are short unless you pay more. I got an eyebrow wax last time and I won't get waxed again there as my brows came out way too thin despite me being clear that I wanted them shaped and not thinned. I love this salon! They call me by my name each and every time I walk in or out the door. Always ask how they can help. There have been times when I would come in for an appointment and the customer before me arrived late which in turned delayed my appointment. Sylvia (my technician) would ask another employee to start my nails. This would get my nails ready for her to finish up. I loved this. It helped keep me on schedule, but most of all it made me feel very special and important. I love the different designs and colors that Sylvia does at each appointment. She never does the same design twice. I love the atmosphere, no rushing and making you feel like just another dollar. This salon is very organized. I got a shellac French manicure from Kiwi. I called Tuesday afternoon at 2:15 and made an appointment for 5:30. I was helped immediately when I walked in a 5:15. Kiwi was very sweet and extremely meticulous. She went back, reapparaising her work several times. She told me she's very picky and that if I was ever not pleased, they would completely redo it free of charge. My nails were very short and not the easiest to work with, but Kiwi was still able to do a perfect job in under an hour. The shellac French was $40.
