The service was well worth the wait. I got my nails done by Nikki and she did a superb job. She is extremely detail oriented, meticulous, and honest. She'll let you know whether or not the design, shape, and length would be achievable at the start of the service. If not, she'll work with you to ensure you leave with something you're satisfied with. All in all, love coming to get my nails done by the lovely women at this salon whenever I'm in the area. I had called ahead and was told we could be seen immediately which was nice, but I ended up having to wait in my chair for over 15 minutes before I was actually seen, while my wife was seen immediately. Because of this I opted for a faster service so that we could be done at the same time. I really wish they were more transparent about the wait times so people could plan accordingly. The service itself was definitely on the pricier side considering what was received, and honestly the quality of work was pretty mediocre. The callus removal was half done (I could only see this after I got up), and everything just felt rushed with little attention to detail (cuticles not cleaned, nails not clipped short enough, etc.). The foot massage at the end was lovely, definitely the highlight of the whole experience. While it wasn't the worst service I've had, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back because of how much it costs vs the level of service I received.

I was looking for a walk-in option with decent prices. Some weren't open yet though. Mindy Nail Bar picked up the phone almost right away and confirmed the prices and timing. I checked in then waited maybe a few minutes before sitting down. Mia did my Gel-X, and I forget who did my gel pedicure! They all had cute name tags though. I was worried they would judge my hands because I've been picking at them lately. But, Mia asked me throughout the service if I liked everything. Although I prefer a more square-ish shape, I decided I'd go with how more rounded she filed the nails. At first, I thought cutting it down would help flatten out the shape more, but it just made it worse. So, for one of the nails, she re-did it. The free drink menu has 3 mocktails, Vietnamese coffee, and tea. I got the blue ocean one, and it was sweet. I didn't really get the opportunity to drink it though, but it wasn't like to die for or anything. Charms are $5 extra, and I thought maybe she would charge $10 since I got 1 on each ring finger, but it was only $5 to the total. At the end, I paid $60 for the Gel-X and $40 for the gel pedicure. I hope they stay on for a while because I need my natural nails to desperately grow out. The chairs are definitely newer since they opened about a year ago, but the curing machines were a little icky. My finger felt sticky towards the end, so I started hovering my hands in the final curing steps. However, my feet feel so clean and new! So, I think the regular pedicure is 100% worth the price. They do a little bit of massaging, and I am mostly satisfied.

I felt a poke when one of the ladies was doing my nail, I thought nothing of it. One week later I had a pain and I thought it was an ingrown, I looked closely and puss was coming out. I'm so upset, had to go to the urgent care to get antibiotics. My nail is in constant pain. Please have your ladies be more aware, and kinder!!!!! I always feel like they're irritated so it's hard to tell them anything!!! I'm so traumatized getting my nails done now. Mind you, I'm a SAHM there is no way I got this from anything else!!
