This is one of the best nail salons I've found. It may be a small spot, but the quality and customer service are better than most high-end salons. I've tried a lot of trendy places, and my gel manicures would chip fast or lose shine. Here, my gel nails last weeks and still look fresh. I feel ripped off!!! I paid $70 dollars for my nails to look like this. Gel mani/pedi! I could have done a better job doing them on my own. They like to up charge everything... $5 here $5 there. She didn't even clean the edges of my nail beds. I went back for them to fix my toe nail and of course she blamed me not her crappy job. Gel nails should not look like this after the 2nd day. I used to love this place but then they dremelled my cuticle and caused severe bleeding. All of a sudden, no one spoke English and couldn't help with the burning pain. Finally, action was taken with someone pouring isopropyl alcohol on my wound which amplified the pain x 100. At last, water was run over it and some relief was found. I get it that humans make mistakes but the gal who did my pedicure was shaking so bad, I guess I should be grateful she didn't cut off my toe. Sadly, no customer service efforts made to address the issue. So many nail shops available to consumers. I sent Lush Nails an appointment request on July 4th while I was lying around enjoying the holiday. They responded within the hour and made an appointment for me at 10 a.m. on the 5th. Lush is easy to find, albeit they have a small parking lot. However, I did not have any issue parking here. This is standard fare nail spa. Spa chairs for the pedicures. I was greeted on entering the business, and they quickly set me up with Tina who did a great job with my toes. The poor woman had to deal with an almost 8-month lack of pedicures, so she's a champion. The only issue I had didn't have to do with the business. Their prices are standard. There was another client who showed my two-thirds of the way through my appointment. She was seated next to me and proceeded to remind me why I think people, nowadays, are generally a-holes! Lady, I didn't need to hear your TikToks, and you don't need to respond loudly to the news on the television. You may be a repeat client, and the place feels like home, but wear your AirPods, and don't forget that Lush isn't your living room. Tina was amazing! read more

I've been to this place 3x. I used to enjoy coming here bc Wendy is sweet and tries to accommodate customers with short notice. However, sadly, the last time will be my last time for a couple reasons. - Called to make an appt for 6pm and they said they were available. I walked in, asked to choose a color and waited for 30 min (6:31pm to be exact). Once Wendy started removing my gel, she mentioned that the other customers had made appts 2 weeks earlier and they, too, were waiting. Understood - but what's the point of an appointment if you aren't going to be seen for the next 30 min? - Anna or Anne (can't remember her name) did my pedicure. I got the Deluxe package specifically bc I'm constantly on my feet chasing my toddler so a 7 min massage sounded relaxing. Could've opted for the 5 min massage, but I wanted the extra 2 min. Usually, other salons show you how long they've set the timer for but Anne didn't. Instead, I silently started a timer on my phone and the massage ended in 4 min. Not 5 or 7, 4 effing minutes only. Wttttf. I've added a picture of my toes (1 week later) but both big toes where she has removed my itchy ingrown became infected. Both toes hurt even without wearing shoes, and they were obviously puffy and swollen. It makes me wonder if they sanitize their tools bc this hasn't happened to me before and it's been painful since I got my pedicure done. One star bc I used to like this place, but it has declined tremendously and I don't like dishonesty and non-punctuality esp when you're paying for the service. I did tip 20% only bc of the first two times (also tipped 20% those times, too) but this will no longer be my go to salon. read more

After reading all the reviews and looking at multiple salons,I made an appointment here for a mani/pedi...i walked in...no greeting...I was asked to choose a color...I chose a couple and the color in bottle was completely different than in the catalog...I was told that the Gel polish are perfect match not the regular polish. They didn't offer the pedicure menu until I asked and she was just going to continue with a basic pedicure with out saying anything When they were going to start my manicure, I asked for a specific design but the girl can only do basic. It's like it did not matter cuz when I told them they looked at me like I was crazy. I had called to schedule but okay I sat down and waited to get a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. I also love the staff there because they dont sit there and chit chat away to eachother in vietnamese like other places do. I hear Wendy is good with acrylics. Wendy takes all her calls on speakerphone. Woman, get an ear piece!!!! Wendy is loud, talks a lot, fast and is annoying. I don't see anyone sterilizing their tools. That makes me cringe. I don't want to end up with someone else's fungus, etc. My skepticism about their sterilizing process (if any exists) prevents me from going more frequently. After I leave their shop, I use antifungal ointment on my feet just in case. This is why I am giving this business 3 stars. I've been going to this salon for a long time. I still miss Kelly. Wendy is really sweet & is BOMB at doing nails. She is capable of doing any design I ask for & I always get tons of compliments. When I post my nails in nail group pages I easily get a few thousand likes on them. The quality & attention to detail is what I like most though. My nails can go on 3+ weeks without lifting or breaking and I know my shaping will always come out how I want which is really important to me when finding a nail tech. I drive 30+ minutes from LA just for her to do my nails, even if its a simple set. Sidenote: The lady that complained about her taking her calls on speakerphone- her brother is a nail tech as well and they video each other during the day to show each other designs they're doing. I came here shortly after Kelly opened this location but she has since sold it. They have a wider variety of colors and the nail techs are nice enough. The have some refreshments available but they aren't offered to every customer. Two ladies were offered wine but I didn't see anyone else being offered wine. Today I did a walk in for a gel mani with a pedi and it took an hour to do the pedi and another two hours to do the mani as they were overwhelmed. Since it was a walk in and I didn't have any plans, I was fine with the wait. However, the nail tech who did my pedicure trimmed too closely and cut my nail and made it bleed. She said sorry and that she accidentally cut my skin, not my nail but if you've ever cut your own nails then you know if you cut them too short you're going to come into contact with the nail bed and it's no bueno. AND she adds insult to injury by filing it even more! She knew she had my made a mistake but the salon didn't offer a way to make it up to me. In addition I saw a jagged edge on the same nail and had to ask her to fix it. The other great toenail is uneven because I was afraid to let her go near it again. My manicure turned out okay. When I was seated I told the tech which colors I wanted and they got to removing my old gel. By the time it was time to apply polish another nail tech took my color so I had to choose a different one. Alex was detailed with the trimming and filing but the glitter polished nails never come out like the sample nails. This is the second time I've had Alex do my nails with glitter polish and you can always see the nail bed underneath. You have to ask him to do a third or fourth coat. I would suggest you ask for a base coat of a neutral polish and then do layers of the glitter if you want the glitter to be more condensed. Some of the purple polishes he opened still had orange streaks so I'm unsure if they were new or old or just poorly mixed. They are offering a 25% off special until Feb 1 if you come between 9-3. Overall I'm kinda meh about this place. I appreciate the discount, variety of colors, and that the owners, especially Wendy, are polite but the experience could've been better. 2.5 stars. read more
