Sushi located in 99 ranch. I got their special roll which looked like eel. There was just too much rice and not enough flavor in the roll. I also got their brown sugar boba tea which was just okay. They didn't add enough rice so it ended up being lukewarm tea. The guy also handed my the straw on top of my drink (straw was not wrapped up so his bare hand was on top of it...kind of un sanitary). Stopped by real quick yesterday to grab 2 salmon rolls as I saw on the menu for $6. The guy there was having a buy 1 get one 50% off special. I was however charged $6.95 per roll totaling about $11. I asked him why is higher and that the photo shown is $6. He pointed to the other menu that says "salmon & avocado roll $6.95" I didn't request avocado but was over charged. I told the guy about the price being showed differently but he insisted that it was the old price, he just hasn't changed it. Honestly I felt like I was just fooled out of my money. The salmon also didn't seem fresh when I finally got to eat the first roll. I thought it was smoke salmon at first. In the food court at New York Market. I think the only thing my stomach can handle here is the California roll. They've got a full nigiri/sashimi menu though. Tried the shrimp tempura out of the bowl of seafood udon soup. I've had better. Pricing is decent though. I think it's 2 rolls for $7.50. The seafood udon was about $12. read more

I came to Inari Sushi for dinner and regretted it. After placing my order for the Large Chirashi, I waited around 10 minutes for my food to come out. Upon getting it, I was immediately disappointed. There was very little rice and not a lot of fish, but that would be the least of my concerns. The fish and the rice tasted decent. The roe, however, tasted awful. In fact, I'm pretty sure the roe was rotten as it gave off a horrible fishy taste. Imagine rotting fish in a dumpster. Now imagine that taste in your mouth. That's the best way I can describe it. In fact, I didn't even touch the other half of the roe, including the rice it sat on. After I finished, I saw someone carry his pet canary into the food prep area. I was severely grossed out at this point and left. On my drive home, I got an awful stomachache and started feeling nauseated. When I got home, I immediately went to the sink to rinse out the dumpster taste from my mouth; that's really saying something given the fact that I eat sushi nearly every week and have never had this problem. Came here only because they were open before other places were.... Will never come again. All of the fish tasted like it had been frozen for a while and the Ikura (salmon roe) was disgusting. I order salmon roe from all different sushi places and have never had it look white like this and it also tasted horrible. Not sure if it's because it was frozen like everything else or if it's because it was really old.... And to top it all off they're more expensive then other sushi places and then all you get is old, nasty, not fresh sushi. Bleck! read more

The menu selections are limited (do not expect to find salmon belly, toro, or sea urchin here), but the rolls that are on offer are made fresh to order with high quality fish, and properly made rice. The people running this place are great too. This sushi stall in the food court is another reason why New York Mart is worth going to. I admit I was furious the first time I tried to eat at Inari Sushi because the restaurant is INSIDE the NY Market grocery store... Now that I found it, the food is delicious and so affordable. The fish is fresh and high quality and the portions are generous and filling. The owners and chef are very nice and understanding and the food was cooked so quickly. Tasty, fast, affordable. Sushi, roll, sashimi combos will run you around $10 and simple rolls like California rolls and tuna rolls are only about $4. Like another Yelper (Vincent), I too am disappointed by their large chirashi which is priced around $17 - $18 after tax. The large chirashi comes with 2 pieces of tuna, 2 pieces of salmon, 3 pieces of white fish, 2 pieces of mackerel, 1 piece of boiled shrimp, pitiful amount of flying fish roe, rice, and seaweed salad. Tuna, salmon (no fat), and shrimp were all below average quality. The mackerel had a strange taste while the white fish was decent. Overall, it's a supermarket quality sushi (i.e., Safeway). If you are looking for California rolls, they would do. However, if you are looking for sashimi, don't come here. read more

They are sold pre-packaged so it's convenient for when you're on-the-go, but they also have tables set up so you can eat in. The workers are also very friendly. Tried the sushi combo and it was alright, nothing special. Rice doesn't taste vinegared and the ratio of rice to fish seemed a little too high. Fish wasn't bad, though the piece of salmon I received still had a couple of bones in it.
