My overall experience was very good as I expected. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious with a lot of dining room seating, bar seating, sushi bar seating, and an open kitchen. The aesthetic, decor, and ambiance were all great, however, the place can get pretty loud due to how open the restaurant is. Service was efficient and friendly. I ordered the Inca Chicken dish and two margaritas. The margarita happy hour is one of the better ones I know of in the area. The food came out quickly and was very flavorful especially paired with the quinoa. Portions were on the smaller side considering the price, but still found my portion filling. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the waiter/hostess miscommunication about bring in your own personal cake/cupcakes for special occasions and also the waitress rudely talking to one of our dinner guests for asking to take back a meal they didnt know contained octopus. She claimed they did in fact know because it was in the name of the meal ( keep in mind the guest was over 70+ years of age). It didnt matter anyway, it could've been handled better. I went to Inca social on a Friday night and it was quite busy, definitely recommend getting a reservation ahead of time if you are planning to go over the weekend. The inside decor was really well done with florals and instagrammable moments dispersed throughout the restaurant. There were many cherry blossom decorations that gave the whole place a really upscale feel. I find it hard to find restaurants that both have a great ambiance and are very pretty and also serve good food. Inca social actually did a great job of both! Felt like treating myself after a long radiology ordeal today. The toughest part was lying still for two hours while I glowed in the dark. You know, kind of like taking a nap. Actually, the toughest part was fasting for 12 hours. After so much rest and a haircut, my hunger got the best of me. In addition to the delicious food I treated myself to a double Pisco Sour. Avoid the temptation to have a second unless you are being chauffeured home. I arrived at 5, a little early, and took a table. I waited quite a while and finally had to get up and find a waitress to ask for a menu. I ordered two appetizers and a main along with my double Pisco. Because the kitchen was not busy everything arrived at once. The Tiradito Al Olivo was excellent with the octopus chewy and fresh and the black olive foam tart and sweet reminiscent of a creamy blueberry yogurt. My favorite app though is Papa à la Huancaina. Who would believe a simple thick sliced steamed potato could be so delicious? The Lomo Saltado was the best I've have anywhere, even cold, with the beef so flavorful and tender you could consider your teeth optional. The mashed potato Veggie Causa $6 were fun to try and flavorful from the beet and corn and sauce. The Red Sangria was a bit dry and a bit surprised that it wasn't part of the happy hour menu. The Caipirinha is sweet and tasted like a spiced limeade and also not on happy hour. I wasn't a big fan of the thick steak fries. The passionfruit sauce was the best part but the rice was mushy and all of the flavors melted together and not in a good way. The fresh passionfruit juice was delicious. For starters I got my lemon drop martini and I started off with the passion fruit mimosa. Both spectacular I had not complaints Mimosas was bottomless; however, they had a starting price of $15 and for each drink depending on the flavor it was $0.50c or $0.75c increase. This dish was mind blowing very tasty. Flavors I've never had before that worked so well together. Except I had almost finished my Inca Lager when I saw particles floating around from the keg lines. Who knows how long it had been since they cleaned the lines, but regardless, the yeast/mold/bacteria buildup in the lines ended up in my glass. It's been hard to find a spot where you can get ceviche with a nice crisp to calamari and good breading and all while in a sauce. the soft tender fish was the cherry on top. We had a lot of fun on Peruvian independence day. They hosted performers (dancers and instruments). I'm surprised that they didn't have Peru's signature drink/liquor (pisco) available tonight. But they were very busy and the food came out decently quick. Only complaint is the drinks took awhile. We decided on ordering several appetizers and one entree. We ordered the anticuchos sampler, chicharron, beef and aji de gallina empanadas, jalea, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was really good except for the seafood, which was overcooked and under-seasoned in the case of the jalea and over seasoned for the shrimp skewers.
