Huge store filled with plenty to see, rocks and minerals, posters, comics, albums, masks and carvings. Talked to the owner who took it over a couple of years ago and has changed it from an antique store into a collectibles store. Plenty to see and discover here, just wandering through can be a great experience. I collect wooden masks and there were plenty to see here, they have a large and diverse collection and the owner really seemed to know his stuff. The masks ranged in price and quality and were from a wide variety of locations; including some Native American masks which are very hard to find in this area. I looked at a number of masks and ended up finding a nice Asian mask that I bought at a reasonable price. Overall Eastside Relics is well worth a visit if you are looking for something a bit different. They have a wide variety of rocks and minerals, plenty of posters and lots of other items. If you are in the area stop by and check them out.

They have everything from war pins to jewelry to street signs...even an entire wall full of typewriters! I love the old movie posters and will probably come back for the original Phantom of the Opera poster with Lon Cheney Sr who is the among the best horror actors. Make sure you bring plenty of money if you intend to shop because the store is pretty pricey but they are willing to haggle on some things. Also they have some neat finds in regards to Cleveland/Ohio history! I saw a poster from the 80s of Amadeus that was performed at Cleveland Playhouse's original location as it wasn't in Playhouse Square all these years! Go witness a bit of history in our own backyard!

Actually, they were very excited with just how much we loved taking photos. (These two REALLY understand customer service and how important photography and social media are to the 30-something set) We had a lovely dialogue about how vintage fashion is one of the most delightful interests one could have because it tells so many stories! They offered to watch my friend's dog as we perused the amazing goodies, and even gave us cookies while we were trying on outfits. Thank you SO much fellas, for treating these two hard working women to a wonderful afternoon. You certainly know how to convince a gal to spend her entire paycheck!! One tip to this store is make sure you get to their basement. Items tend to be reduced or are garage sale finds that may not be that old but that are worth buying. I frequently find leather travel frames and interesting mirrors and boxes in the basement. Parking is plentiful with meters and there are other antique stores on both sides of the street.

They have taken over a large department store space and divided it into a large number of individual stalls. Each stall is stocked and priced by individual owners which results in a really diverse variety of items. There are true antiques, interesting vintage items, collectibles, art and even furniture. Each item is priced and identified by stall number. I really enjoy browsing through the stalls, some have a clear theme and are consistent, others have a true hodgepodge of items so that you have to take your time looking at what is available. Even though most of the items are not what I am interested in, I always find some items that I am interested in and a larger amount that are fun to see. Pricing is moderate with a wide range from a bit high to some real values. You might also find selected stalls where some or all of theitems are discounted. On one item I wanted the staff was able to contact the seller and I negotiated a lower price. Although I usually hit the thrift stores looking for bargains I do enjoy an occasional visit to Antiques & Uniques to see what is available. I have purchased a really nice Inuit stone carving and have my eye on a really nice Asian wooden mask. Even if you don't find anything to buy this is a fun place to wander around and see what catches your eye. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that you have the ability to just walk around at your own pace and see what is there. If you are looking for something unique, something old or something collectible this is a place to check out.

Inside is incredible, two storefronts and a full basement full of an eclectic assortment all scattered about with only a vague kind of organization. Among the broad categories of items were artwork, books, clothing, cowboy boots, decor and just about anything else you could imagine. I was looking for wooden masks since I have a large collection; of course I really didn't want to find anything to buy, I was just shopping. Scattered about the store were quite a few different masks and other carvings. I finally noticed two masks hanging on the wall behind the main counter, a very detailed Balinese mask and a smaller Japanese Tengu Mask. The owner seemed knowledgeable about the masks, which was welcome and a bit surprising. The Tengu Mask just talked to me and the price was affordable, plus it was small enough that I didn't have to do a major redistribution of my collection. After a short negotiation we came to a reasonable price and the Tengu mask is now hanging in my home. A great cool spot to just browse around and see what hits your interest. There are surprises scattered all over, prices seemed reasonable. The owners were friendly and helpful. Stop in and see what happens.

Huge old factory filled to the brim with every kind of furniture, fabrics and on site upholsterers including antiques, retro, mid century modern, French antiques, mirrors, art moderne, classic colonial, danish modern and boho just to name a few. Despite the size of this place, and it is huge, its remarkably dust free and well organized. They also offer many services that you may find helpful i.e., house staging, downsizing services, consignment, trade-in specialty paints and beautiful fabrics with onsite upholsterers. Do not trust anything VNTG or its owner!!!…read more I purchased small pieces from VNTG with good luck over the years, and used to loved going there to shop whenever they had sales. Because of this, I consulted and paid VNTG to reupholster a large amount of antique furniture that was my mother's and grandmother's. It took weeks longer than expected to get it back, but the first part turned out fine. When the initial reupholstered furniture was returned, we made arrangements with VNTG to pick up several pieces of antique furniture to sell on consignment. The furniture included various antique chairs and other pieces, plus a baby grand piano -- all in good condition. It took two trips for VTNG to pick it all up. We were promised both trips I was told that Michael would email us a consignment contract as soon as the furniture arrived at VNTG's warehouse store. After months and months of back and forth, I confirmed with the woman who had made the pickup arrangements that, yes, she remembers well the furniture being picked up, delivered to VNTG, -- and that their movers had damaged the grand piano moving it. She remembers this because this was all at the beginning of the pandemic and they were having trouble getting good movers willing to move the piano. Again I was promised that she would make sure "Michael" would call me to resolve and make sure to send me the consignment contract within a day or so. More weeks and months of back and forth letting VNTG know they had our furniture and Michael still had not sent us our consignment contract. Still nothing! Just broken promises. Never a return call. Finally, I went to VNTG to look for my furniture myself. I scoured the entire warehouse, loading docs, every room, everything. All of it, literally all of it, VNTG had already sold during the months waiting on "Michael or someone" to get us our contract. Not a single piece of my furniture was still at VNTG. At that time, the woman working said she didn't know what might have happened. I was told to call back and talk to their office manager. After numerous attempts over several days, I finally managed to catch VNTG's office manager by phone. She seemed to be the most honest person I'd talked to there and sounded completely deflated. She said she quitting after working there for about a year and only had a a few days left. She shared she was leaving because she spends all day getting nothing but complaints just like mine, passing them on, only to get a call back again that no one from VNTG was responding but her. She admitted that VNTG doesn't keep good records of what comes in, from whom, or when and who it is sold to. She said Michael never returns calls. She suggested I talk directly to the owner and she would have the owner call me back right away. I had to insist she give me the owner's cell phone number just in case I didn't get a return call. The owner, like everyone else, never returned my call. Two days later, (because I had insisted on getting the owner's cell in advance) I called the owner and told her the whole history -- names of people I had worked with; details of the furniture picked up by VNTG; the movers dropping and breaking a leg on the grand piano; who I had followed up with; what happened each time (i.e., Michael or "someone" was supposed to contact me, never got a call back ever; and that they had sold my furniture without paying me. The owner, who was at the Cleveland airport and was flying back into Cleveland at this time, promised me she would personally look into it as she was heading to the VNGT store from the airport. She confirmed she had my phone number on her cell and would be back in touch. That was a year ago. I have never heard back from the owner or anyone at VNTG! MY ANTIQUE FURNITURE AND BABY GRAND PIANO WHICH, KNOWING VNTG'S PRICING, WOULD HAVE SOLD FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IS GONE! VNTG SOLD IT AND NEVER PAID ME MY PART OF THE PROCEEDS (HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!) Furthermore, I have learned that VNTG doesn't do its own upholstering any more. The first part of what they upholstered for me (my grandmother's and Mother's antiques) they did in house. The second part (three bar stools) was outsourced and they failed to inform me. It took more than a month longer than promised to get back. In the end, I had to pick it up at the third-party outsourcer myself because VNTG was so unreliable. I cannot discourage you enough from trusting VNTG. When the owner knows what is going on and that her customers are being lied to and cheated then does nothing -- you know that behavior is condoned by the owner herself.
