He called the following day to let me know the work was done, and that I could pick them up at my convenience. While-you-wait repairs are available, the owner will clean your jewelry at no cost, and he welcomed my dog (dog-friendly businesses have a special place in my heart). They tried to change the battery, but the watch still wouldn't work... they told me that the watch was "totaled" and beyond repair. They were the only people to have ever opened the back of this watch. I took it up to Chester's in Parma, and he immediately asked if someone else had worked on the watch before. He showed me that "whoever" tried to change the battery had ripped out a few components, actually showing me what the missing pieces were... Don Basch broke my watch, then claimed it was unfixable. Chester fixed my watch same-day, it's working again! Not giving 1 star because the storefront is nice and clean, people are friendly, and they did a good job cleaning my wife's wedding ring.
