The Ring: The ring is rose gold with a modified, diamond lined infinity band. The 1.0 karat round diamond sits elevated on top. Folks, this is the most attractive ring anyone of our peers have ever seen. it is NOT a 20,000$ ring, yet Veronica's ring gets compliments more than those who have far more expensive rings. Why? it is because Rivchun and Sons know what they are doing. It is the woman whose finger the ring is on... It is the custom work... and lets face it, the high grade diamonds make a huge difference. First experience... I came out from Los Angeles, as my brother and relatives in the past have used Rivchun. The Rivchuns are now the Soukeniks, and Joe Soukenik is the master jeweler and owner. Been there for most of his life, smiling with thanksgiving. His staff is friendly, all of them are into what they do. Without exaggeration, Joe Soukenik has probably brought hundreds of individuals in to his windowed office and has spent the great expense of time with them explaining Diamonds (gradations, shapes, ratings, and all the rest). He took Veronica and I into his office and spent an hour and a half with us. He is so excited about his work, and you can tell that it isn't a rouse. He would've spent 5 hours with us if we had that many questions. We left with greater understanding. Joe is a disarming, attentive person. He also has that great Cleveland work ethic that few folks know about. We live in LA, grew up in Cleveland. i'll tell you, I don't know one Clevelander that doesn't consider a work week to be less than 50+ hours. The best, and they pride themselves on their work, which is why Clevelanders set a high bar for the businesses they patronize. In LA, we give thanks if an employee says hello. Joe, thank you for your endless patience. At no point did your tail feathers get ruffled, as I know I delayed and kept changing ideas. Anyways, we are so happy to be established with you all. Joe has recently been blessed (and he knows it) to have his son Jack join the team. Jack is a younger version of Joe and emits the same high vibes. Rare. While it may exist, I know of no other jeweler that will treat each customer with the same respect and same price point. I am not the most trusting when it comes to jewelers. I checked out everything claimed here, and voiced skepticism. Rivchun holds up and they are smart because they do what they love and beleive in great service. The Parking is simple, for being in a historic downtown Cleveland building. you simply park on the 3rd or 4th floor in the parking garage next door, and there is a skywalk to the City Club building. Fun. Bonus: For our wedding, they loaned Veronica these jaw dropping barcelona diamond earrings (potato chip shaped). It is these things that make a big difference. The second I walked in I was greeted by Larry who actually opened the door for me. I proceeded to explain my predicament and he proceeding to not sell me but instead educate. He pulled out his 4 C's Chart and even gave me a Diamond Loupe! He then encouraged me to go to other stores to compare quality and styles knowing that he could provide the best product for the best price. After a couple weeks of searching I found the perfect ring and went back to see Larry. He was able to make the exact same ring with a FAR BETTER quality diamond for much less than all others. I was able to get exactly what I wanted for the budget that I was staying within. Larry single handedly made this an enjoyable experience. Gino's Jewelers was rated the absolute highest. And it was close to me. I stopped by after work one day. Mike waited on me and I told him that I wanted to use one (Mom's loyalty ring) ring band to enforce and fix my Dad's class ring. I also told him about a necklace that was pulling my hair out at the nape of my neck that I wanted to get rid of because I heard they buy gold there too. One week later, I had my Dad's ring back on my finger, the hair grabbing necklace sold and a check for the left over gold. I can't even explain how grateful I am to find a Jewelers that I trust. Mike also looked at a bunch of old jewelry that I wanted to get rid of and let me know what was gold and what wasn't. You can not go wrong visiting and trusting Gino's. I received an advertising newsletter in the mail several weeks ago, and Gem-Crafters was one of the businesses featured. The owner is also a Kent State University alum (go Flashes!), so I kept the mailer, and finally took my rings in two days ago. The cost was so reasonable that I asked him to re-size three rings and repair a broken bracelet, and left the items with him. He called the following day to let me know the work was done, and that I could pick them up at my convenience. While-you-wait repairs are available, the owner will clean your jewelry at no cost, and he welcomed my dog (dog-friendly businesses have a special place in my heart). I took a few of his business cards to give to friends who've told me how much they paid for jewelry repairs, and how long they had to wait.

It seemed a bit expensive overall ($90) but I had gone to a jewelry store and most pearl repair work is outsourced so it'd probably be more expensive in that route. Great customer service. They also do a ton of other repair stuff (watches, polishing, etc) and I would definitely bring other things back to them in the future.
