St. Bede is a wonderful and welcoming community parish, and Father Jim is stellar. He's kind, warm, and down to Earth. He is the rare kind of priest who--when he celebrates mass and gives homilies--makes it clear how much he truly cares. What I love the most about Father Jim is that St. Bede isn't built around him or a cult of personality. It's just a great church with a great priest and I always feel renewed and positive when I leave mass.

If you fit into the club you enjoy it. If not then not. My mother attends this church, and I have gone a couple times. It used to seem harmless and good for her. Now, it has changed. Pastor has changed, he is nothing like Andy. Also, a woman named Nancy who seems to be considered worthy there at LCPC, that has been talking a lot to my 92 year old mother with dementia. Nancy seems to believe she can come into our family matters, and coerced my mother with overdue force to take me out of my house away from from mother without any provocation. I have taking care of my mom for over 3 years now. This person has never been very helpful or present in Mom's life till very recently and her advice has been aggressive and intrusive and absolutely not near a Christian way to behave! Public should beware...if this "Deacon" Nancy, and that new pastor, Yousef are representative of the values and moral obligations of Christians in general in our community, we all should be appalled. Shame on them. Dividing a family, creating havoc instead of peace, allowing and with force putting one more homeless person on the street. Does any of that sound Christian like? Horrible. Don't go here! It's not where Jesus would go, or get close to. Run away

The Worship is amazing the lights, the huge center screen, and modern music really help create a environment for clear thought to worship together or with faster songs to jump around and have fun. The community is extremely welcoming and inviting. There's a ton of small groups that meet on different nights fitting almost anyone schedules. Children Ministry is great for kids they can learn about the Bible with a dedicated children pastor. They can also have fun with games, kids worship, video games, ping pong, air hockey. From the very beginning, there was always something different I could feel. This is truly a Spirit filled church where you encounter God's presence from the moment you walk in. There is a deep sense of peace, love, and warmth, and you immediately feel welcomed. It does not feel like a place you just attend. It feels like a true family. The church is deeply focused on God and His Word. The teachings are strong, clear, and life transforming if you are truly seeking to grow. This is a place of true discipleship where you are encouraged to walk closely with God and grow deeper in your faith. Pastor Ruben is a true servant, humble, caring, and anointed. You can see his heart for people in the way he leads and supports the church. The pastor and members are always available, praying for one another and supporting each other in every area of life, including education, personal growth, and spiritual needs. They offer both Armenian and English services, with translators available, which makes it very welcoming for everyone. There are also many ministries for every age and stage, including women, men, young adults, teenagers, and children. The church has home groups, prayer groups, and ministries that focus on prophecy, healing, and deeper spiritual growth. Their Sunday school is excellent, with a strong curriculum that helps children grow in faith from a young age. You can see the care and intention behind it. They also have a school called LASSM, where people can grow deeper in the Lord and discover their calling. I personally have not attended yet because I have two young children, but I truly cannot wait for the opportunity to go. I already feel such a strong desire and hunger to attend because I know it will help me grow deeper, be transformed, and be empowered in a new way. If you are looking to grow spiritually, learn the Bible, be part of a true family, and build a close relationship with God, I truly recommend this church. Sometimes a person's criteria for rating a church are usually kind of superficial anyway. Read the New Testament and you will see all sorts of problematic churches that Paul had to work with and all the ways Jesus evaluated the 7 churches in Revelation 2-3 (which is also representative of the whole church!). Every church has its strengths and weaknesses, and every church is a work in progress! Sometimes an outsider's review can be truthful of course, but sometimes you can also just have a skewed picture and idea because on Yelp (or any other platform for the matter) you're bound to just have an upset review bomber who had a negative experience that's not true for everyone. Sometimes you have to hear from an insider who knows what it's like and has been here for a while and had a full range of experiences in the church! Sure we might confuse an insider's perspective as biased, but honestly who isn't? We're kidding ourselves if we think we aren't! To be upfront, I'm reviewing as someone who's served here as a youth pastor at our church for the past several years. And yes, we're aware of our weaknesses and flaws, and we continue to learn more about different things we need to address and improve. But thank God because no matter what people think, Christ loves the church and will one day present the church without blemish in splendor, because He who began a good work will bring it to completion at the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. All Nations Church (ANC) is the KM and All Nations Community Church (ANCC) is the English congregation. They have an interdependent relationship and are probably one of the few Korean immigrant churches to be able to pull it off! We are under the Christian Reformed Church, so we are a little more on the moderately conservative end! Sure we're not necessarily the most charismatic church, but I can tell you there are in fact people here who are "on fire for God" (as one reviewer put it). Our teaching is gospel-centered and we're big on the gospel-centered-life curriculum from serge! We have quite a few pastors, all very differently gifted, and I guess some can be pretty cool ya know It is borderline mega church, so expect it to be big and operate a little bit more under mega church dynamics! So community can be cliquey. Best way to get plugged in is through joining a community or family group, serving in another ministry (we're always in need of people to serve!), or just being actively involved in other events and gatherings outside of Sunday services! Sunday lunches when available are pretty good! There are also other snack/coffee bars as well! We have BeBright coffee too! Services can get pretty packed and parking can get busy! Check us out! This review is purely for the English ministry and not the services my parents go to. The pastors for the Korean congregation are on fire or so it seems. English ministry has always been high school all over again, where I've witnessed ugly politics in the past and again when I returned to the church to visit. Pastor Howard was great, but the lacking sense of community and the fire for God didn't seem to be there. If you are non-Korean, this is not the place for you. Even though this is "mission-based" as this church labels itself to be, it's far from being open to non-Koreans and extremely xenophobic to any outsiders, as Korean culture is VERY xenophobic. If you are a new Korean immigrant and want to socialize and network this is your "church." I did not find the fire for God in any of the leadership, and the "politics'' of the church was still very evident. This church may be for you, but not for me.
