Honestly, I have never had Indian-Chinese food before so I didn't know what to expect. Lunch buffet (11-3) is $15 on Mon-Fri and $20 on weekends which is a really good price. The number of items are certainly more than the equally cheaper indian buffets in vancouver and burnaby. Manchow soup - no idea what that meant. It looked like the chicken manchurian but soup form. Green mango salad was just standard. Lightly dressed and tiny pieces of mango. It was just sitting in a container and not kept cold. Spring roll seemed hand made and not store bought which is a plug Crispy chili potatoes are fries coated with some seasoning. Flavor is not bad but they need to be fried better so much of them were soggy. Orange chicken tastewise is good. Again they need to fry it better. Some were crispy and some were soggy. Chicken manchurian was a dish I have never tasted before. I still don't know and can't describe what the flavor was. Fish hot garlic was not bad. I liked the flavor but again I wasn't sure what kind of flavor it was. Chili paneer had the same flavor as the chicken manchurian. Fried rice was fried well. Fried noodle was just ok. They came by and asked if we wanted naan. When it came it glistened with oil and had loads of garlic. Upon tasting it, it shockingly didn't have much garlic flavor. The texture of the naan was weird. Much thinner than I'm used to and not as chewy. Loads of parking as this is located in an outside mall. The decorations inside were super cool but very random. read more

Lol The food and drinks are very interesting as the combinations are well planned and hence turn out to be very yummy especially the Chinese Bhel. Very light on stomach. Different kind of noodles are served. Rice with chicken course is my favourite. Pretty decent seafood choices are also available. Decor of the restaurant is very modern mix with traditional. Really tasty, slightly upper-scale Indo-Chinese food with tons of vegetarian and vegan options. Living in Vancouver, we are very familiar and fans of with Green Lettuce, Chili Pepper and Indian Wok, very casual Indo-Chinese restaurants. I discovered this place opened a year or so ago, with locations all over the US, and figured we'd give it a try. It's a nice restaurant than your average Indian or Chinese hole in the wall. The menu is big, with clearly marked vegan options. We ordered: -Chinese Bhel ($14 plus tax; vegan). A much sweeter version of this classic Indian snack. The portion was enormous, too much for the two of us (would be nice to have a half-size portion for half the price), but tasty enough. I prefer the classic Indian version of this dish, as this was a bit too sweet. But it was admittedly well-done. 3/5 -Tofu with Manchurian sauce ($17 plus tax; vegan). This was absolutely wonderful: firm cubes cooked with a rich but elegantly flavoured and not-too-sweet Manchurian sauce. Very saucy, balanced and goes great on rice. Top-notch. 5/5 -Chili Vegetables ($17 plus tax; vegan). This was great as well: mixed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, red and green pepper, carrot, green beans, corn, and green peas), served in a sort of hot plate, with a very sauce, mildly spicy chili sauce. The sauce was not that different to the Manchurian, but distinct enough to complement the tofu dish perfectly. 4.5/5 -Hakka Noodles with vegetables ($17 plus tax; vegan). This dish was on the blander side, but still satisfying, served with crunchy veggies (cabbage, green onions, red onion, and shredded carrot). I've had better Hakka noodles at the aforementioned Indo-Chinese restaurants, but this was still good -- a milder dish to complement the richer, saucy dishes. Extremely friendly, helpful and attentive service -- almost too much, as we were asked 5-6 times whether everything was OK after the food came. Great experience overall. Highly recommended for a slightly more upscale Indo-Chinese meal. read more

First time at this location in Canada after being to many other locations in the US. Inchin's Bamboo Garden is an Indo-Chinese Restaurant and is pretty renowned in the US. The ambience is modern with lots of seating. We started with Manchow Soup. It wasn't good because the fried noodle served on the side was stale. The appetizer Lat Mai Paneer was really flavorful and it has always been my favorite one. However, we were disappointed with the noodles. We ordered garlic noodles but it was on the blander side. I've had a long day. I was looking forward to a nice take out meal, chinese is my go to comfort food. Wanted to try something new. This is like a chinese indian restaurant I believe. The place seems nice. The girl at the front was friendly. It was not that busy. It's located in the plaza so there's plenty of parking. They don't have single order combos. You have to order an entree then a separate rice order if you want a meal. Its not cheap either. Its close to $20 for the entree. And portion is surprisingly small. I have a pic posted here. It's single order size. I ordered the garlic pepper chicken. Boy I tasted the pepper, Lol! Wait was longer than I'm used to than other chinese take outs. Be sure to ask for utensils or chopsticks as I didn't get any. Overall, the dining room seems fancy. But I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon. read more

Ordered the yellow curry rice and black pepper beef. Overall the yellow curry black pepper were good would give it 4 out of 5. The rice 1 out 5. The rice was what appeared to be scrapped from the bottom of the dish so burnt and hard. Ordered on New Year's Eve so I understand that 40-45 min is acceptable. The gentleman that took my order said he would call once ready. No call so went back to see if order was ready. Sure enough sitting on the table not kept warm so had cold food which needed to be reheated. Still undecided if I will go back as first experience was not one to remember. read more

This was my first visit at this Indian Chinese fusion restaurant. We were seated right away. Menus and water were dropped off. I had a hard time deciding what to order, but I ended up choosing wings of heaven and chicken 65 fried rice. My husband chose chicken butter masala and naan. Food arrived fairly quickly. I was expecting the wings to be deep fried, but it was not. It was a stir-fry dish and tasted alright. The fried rice was spicy and had a decent amount of chicken. I took a bite of the chicken butter masala and it was creamy and rich sauce. The two piece of naan were small and a tad too greasy for my liking. It felt a bit flat and not as fluffy as I am used too. Service was great. Our server stopped by regularly to refill water. Ambiance was nice with a lot of Chinese dynasty decor. Restaurant was clean and tidy. My only complaint was the price. It was $4 for a small piece of naan. The prices were a bit on the expensive side. read more

I would give ZERO Ratings if there is an option for this restaurant. Their service and servers are very cheap and do not have any manners how to deal with their customers. I visited this restaurant with my family and I had worst experience so far. I had fast so I brought my food and they told me it's not allowed. One male server with beard was extremely rude and threatened me not to eat outside food. He told me to break my religious fast. He was extremely selfish, ridiculous and completely disrespectful towards their customers. Even they threatened me to penalize me for that. Apart from this, they also charged me 12% service charge even though we were only 4 adults. They considered my 1.5 years old daughter in adult. We will spread this disrespectful behaviour from this restaurant servers to our friends, family and neighbours. We have decided not to visit this place again. read more

Last-minute dinner plans with the family took us to this hidden gem in Fleetwood. The food was good, the ambience was nice and the restaurant floor plan was well laid out which included an open area and booths. The server took us to the open area to assign us a table. Kids asked for a booth and the server happily accommodated their request. Andy was our server and I must say that it was refreshing to see someone who cared about customer service. What used to be a norm is hard to find nowadays. Andy was courteous, and respectful and knew the menu well. For the 3rd time I visited, did a take-out of food, and asked for MILD spices in the food. For the 3rd time, they reassured me it would be. And for the 3rd time, it was VERY spicy. I like to be balanced on my reviews and typically post on tripadvisor but this restaurant isn't listed there so chose to post here. I had visited this restaurant in California many years ago and it was very good so was excited to see one reasonably close to me. Firstly the restaurant failed to have a lunch time menu even though one is advertised online. We visited on a monday so it wasn't a weekday issue. We ordered several dishes and I will evaluate each: Chilli Garlic Noodles - overcooked and the waited said it wasn't possible to have a replacement as it would be the same. Investigation was the noodles had all been precooked (over cooked presumably) and then they are tossed in the wok. Seriously how hard is it to cook noodles right for an asian restaurant :( Szechwan Tofu - swimming in a watery sauce. Average would be very generous. Chili Vegetables - swimming in exactly the same watery sauce as the Tofu. The vegetables had no crunch and I have to assume they were frozen. Limp Brocolli and Cauliflower......really very sad. Lat Mai Paneer - pretty decent. Certainly passable though nothing special. Paneer wasn't fluffy by any means but wasn't tough either. Crispy Chicken Chilli Honey - reasonable. Chicken was fine but wasn't crispy..so so much for crispy but was sweet and spicy which is 2 out of 3 so guess we should be grateful. Was the only dish worth packing to take home. Jasmine Rice - was ok, could have been warmer but was ok. Service was a little haphazard. Waiter repeatedly came to take order despite being told I was waiting for my wife. He was apologetic to be fair for the food as it was very clear by the fact we left 75% of the food untouched that we didn't enjoy it. There are many better asian restaurants. We had driven by this place and decided to try it out as its' name implied Indo-Chinese fusion, (hence the name Inchin). We arrived for the Sunday lunch Buffet and the place was not too busy yet. Having read their own advertisements proclaiming this enticing blend of foods from countries around Asia such as India, China, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, our taste buds were definitely excited. This excitement was quickly extinguished however, as soon as we lifted the lids off the serving trays. It quickly became apparent that despite all the Chinese decorations and paintings, that part of the "Fusion" had been completely eliminated. The food offerings in the trays bore no relation to any of the touted nations, except for India. Do not be duped (like we were), - this is just another run-of-the-mill "Indo, Indian, India" food restaurant, that are now on every other street in Surrey. If you are yearning something special, don't pull into this parking lot. As far as the actual food in the trays, no matter what the associated tray label says it is, you can expect lots of sauce and very little of the meats, such as the lamb and the chicken curry, - lots of sauce but very hard to find any meat to dish onto your plate. Same went for the the rice labelled as biryani "chicken" rice, - no chicken whatsoever. But if you love Tofu, this is your place, because that was the only item of substance that was easy to find. Or, if you're looking for a standard Indo-Vegetarian place to eat, pull in here, but the only "Chinese" aspect of this restaurant, is the red lanterns hanging above the entrance. read more
