Got the same selection (5 skewers and thai fried rice) as did for my 1st experience which was a Yelp event. Just as good, thus consistency. Which is desirable. The staff remembered us from 2.5 months ago, even what we selected. I find that amazing. Very personable. We ordered Saki and seemed not as full as expected. Our wait staff provided us with more, gratis. That too seemed not overflowing but was a satisfactory solution. The Saki was warm not hot. So little room for improvement with the Saki quantity and quality in my opinion. The food is spot on delish and uber satisfying. I especially found the grape tomatoes in my rice to explode with addicting flavor. The seasoning of the rice is also above average captivating. Good ingredients. The meat skewers are seasoned well. Meat is small slices and texture varies. Compliments the rice well. For me the fried rice is the stellar performer. Good drink options. When crowds come in sound reverberates so can be loud but vibrant. Place has ebbs and flows. Business was light when came in at, so happy to see groups come in after 10:30pm. As I want to see this place thrive well into the future. I particularly like the manager. I look forward to trying other options during future repeat visits. My girlfriend's DRUNKEN NOODLES was bountiful and she was completely satisfied with it. She is a foodie with correlating high standards / tastes. And she has dined here several more times than I and always satisfied with the food. Kudos IN DEMAND.

A group of our chorus goes to InDemand for dinner and beers after rehearsal on Tuesday evenings. The bartender has our table set up and ready for us when we arrive. InDemand has a wide variety of food options that are quite tasty. I personally enjoy the hot Buffalo wings.

This was a great experience, & I am super grateful that we were able to have it. It is awesome that they have so much variety. As my plate I chose the bao buns & they did not disappoint, the bun is so soft & the pork is tender & super flavorful. Of course, I brought my children & we purchased some other items apps & entrees that did not disappoint. The lobster roll special soo succulent, & the bun was nice & full of lobster . We have even brought family when they have visited from out of state & they enjoy as well. I've had pho & enjoyedit, so many delicious choices, like delicious burgers as well. If you haven't tried them yet, you don't know what you are missing!!

A must try, especially if you eat more plant based! Not a lot of places do tofu the right way, but this was seasoned perfectly and the sauces are fantastic! My favorite was the mango habanero sauce. Service was great. Everyone is very friendly. Our server was very knowledgeable about each item on the menu and helped us with making our selections. It's pretty quiet inside. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there weren't many people inside. Lots of DoorDash orders came through though so I guess that's how they stay busy. Do me a favor and keep this place in business! XD We'd like to go again!

Very cool late night spot with a wide variety of cuisines. Ranging from Thai/Asian food and American food! Service was really quick considering it was late and they had a full stocked bar as well! The food was pretty good, if you enjoy a little bit more flavor and spice I'd encourage to ask for them to make it spicier especially for the noodles. I got their impossible burger it was pretty bland, I did ask for them to cook it extra and they did but I did wish it had more flavor overall for everything pretty much. It was the same for the Mac and cheese balls. The presentation for everything was beautiful as pictured! But had to heavily season everything as much as I could. I'd come back though! There's a lot they have to offer!

Worst Mother's Day dinner...ever??? My son and I decided to try something new (to us) on Mother's Day as it was just the two of us that evening. We initially landed on In Demand because the burger selection menu looked awesome, but we changed our minds when we arrived and saw the Asian menu variety. Let me include that as we were being seated, a table of three was getting up to leave and there were no other diners for the duration of our meal until a few minutes before we departed. A few to-go orders were picked up, but we were essentially alone and things seemed not so busy. We had a half booth/table and there was a cage fight on the tv (not my fave dinner content) and we were mostly able to ignore it and have a good conversation while we waited. We ordered the pork bao to start and each chose the drunken noodles, one with shrimp and one with chicken. The bao took a while to come out and they looked good and made a pretty presentation, but that was the end of the excitement for me. The pork was mostly fat and the meat stretched as we tried to bite through it and pull it apart. I could not handle gnawing on a rubbery chew toy so I ditched the pork and nibbled on the bun. We hoped the entrees would make up for it. Thirty minutes later we each received the wrong dish - fried rice with pork and one with chicken. The server knew they were wrong and said they were working on the drunken noodles, but just to keep the rice. Our first thoughts were why did it take so long to make fried rice and a protein? We ate a little, but it wasn't really what we wanted so we got to-go boxes and packed it up. We waited for the noodles and when the noodle dishes finally arrived they were brought out in to-go boxes...like we were expected not to stay... At that point we had been there so long we decided to leave and ended up making PB&Js when we got home. Though the burger bar part of the menu has been left unexplored, I really don't care enough to go back and see what we missed.

We had a good time, the bartender Terence he is the best, he made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our time here. The food was good, it is a good option when everything around town closes so early, we were happy to being able to have some late snacks here. The place is huge, we hang out by the bar, since we weren't staying for too long, but it was definitely a good time. P.S. Check their beer special :)

    "Bao Flight"

This seems like a great place that I hope really takes off because they fill the role of providing late night food near a lot of bars. They are, of course, a bar/restaurant themselves and serve a good variety of decent beers, wine, liquor and mixed drinks. This place is advertised and named in a way that suggests it's primarily Asian food and while that is a large portion of its menu there did seem to be a good variety of other foods too. I had a few $3 Singha's which is a pretty solid Thai beer, but they also had a good selection of local North Carolina craft beers from breweries such Red Oak, Wiseman and King Canary. I tried a sampler plata of Gyoza, Crab Rangoons and Spring Rolls. They were all pretty good but I'd say the Crab Rangoons were the best by far but I don't know if I'd order the Gyoza or Spring Rolls on their own. I also tried a "Bao Flight" of 5 Bao. They were hot Chicken, Korean BBQ, Tofu with grilled onions and cucumbers, Pork Belly and Shrimp with "Yum Yum" sauce. They were all quite good, the Korean BBQ and Pork Belly being the big standouts. The Bao were well done but not very large and not very filling, even 5 of them. To round things out I ordered a few "Kushiyaki" aka Japanese Skewers, a Bacon Asparagus and Shishito pepper skewer. They were decent but as you can imagine not terribly filling. After all that I was feeling like I needed something more substantial so I ordered a basket of Cuban "Communal Fries". They really hit the spot as simple straightforward bar food that filled you up. The service was great, even though they apparently had a call-out and were short staffed the bartender Terrence who was pulling double duty as busser/waiter did a great job and was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself had a traditional sit-down area and a bar area as well. It didn't really feel like there was a lot of notable decor that stood out to me, but that's ok. Something more to give it a bit more spirit and personality would've been nice though. Overall it's a decent place with good solid selection of food and beer with extended hours. In addition to everything else mentioned the menu also features burgers. While I usually like a place with variety I do wonder if maybe they are trying to do too much and should be more focused. Some of the food like the Bao is really not very filling at all considering the cost. Despite this and the other criticisms listed above I still think this is a promising late night spot that is worth checking out at least once and maybe making a regular visit if you live nearby and find yourself wanting to eat late often.

This place is legit. Our new go-to takeout spot. Everything we have ordered has been incredible! We've only done takeout so far so I can't speak to the indoor experience, but the food is delicious. There are so many options for loaded fries, it's amazing. And the crab rangoons are top tier. HIGHLY recommend!

It's great to see a restaurant with this concept in this part of town, especially with the late-night hours. While it still needs some fine-tuning, I can definitely see the vision they're working toward. The menu is an interesting mix of Asian-inspired dishes and American bar food. I ordered the skewers with a side of rice, and they were a huge hit--the meat was cooked to perfection and the peppers were delicious! Overall, I really appreciated the hospitality and great customer service.

The food here is pretty tasty! I loved that they have a bao flight. You can also get a skewer combo which is like obviously necessary anytime you visit! Pretty open clean space with an extensive menu.

Underwhelming but solid concept and good food. I was excited to try this place out, since Asian fusion food is one of my favorite cuisines. We were able to find parking in their small lot (yay!) and chose to sit inside. The space was open and there was plenty of available seating on a Saturday night. They had a lovely cocktail menu. However, I opted to spend more of my food and decided not to go with a cocktail this time. I chose the main lobster roll as my entree and the crab rangoon as an appetizer. The crab rangoon was stuffed very full and was dominated heavily by the cream cheese and not the crab. They were crispy and tasty! However, at the $13 price point, I wasn't blown away with the 7 crab rangoon option. The lobster rolls were tasty and the lobster had good flavor. In spite of it being a two-roll meal, it seemed like the rolls were a bit understuffed with lobster meat and that they were strategically propped up in holders to make them look fuller than they were. Also, my fries weren't very warm. I'm sure they would have heated them up if I asked, but I was in eat-mode and didn't make the request. I think that if I come back, I'll try the drunken noodles or something else on the menu. Everything I ate tasted good, I just wasn't blown away by the flavors or the value for money. One suggestion I have for this spot is to add a couple of tofu protein options to their menu (especially on the pad thai). Overall, this place is worth stopping in, since there is a decent amount of menu variety. With so many spots nearby, I don't think it's going to be at the top of my list for a future visit. I would return though!

Went into in demand for a quick dinner after a movie the other weekend with my husband. I'm always shocked by how there is nobody there. We were literally the only ones in the restaurant and one person grabbed takeout while we were there. Food was pretty good. We both got the drunken noodles and we shared the crab Rangoons.

We wanted sushi and red curry and they delivered us some excellent eats. Service was awesome and the manager still always comes by to ask if everything is ok. Love that. Probably at some point will need a Reno as they have been open awhile but nothing looked bad nice busy atmosphere and lots of customers which is nice to see. We ordered a standard vodka soda from the drink menu. They have drink specials every day as well. Then we tried the sweet heat roll which was so pretty ! Delicious with all the sushi elements. Yum. Then we tried the poke bowl with ahi tuna. Wow so big! Rice, seaweed salad and lots of Veggies and a yummy soy wasabi vinaigrette. The tuna sashimi was so fresh. Then the red curry with chicken. We asked for extra Thai spicy and it was just the perfect heat. Served with white rice this was a huge portion honestly could have served 3 people. We still had a lot left over . They were also great about giving us another bowl of rice which is also a nice touch . The sauce here for this red curry is amazing. I will be back to buy it as we asked if they sell it and our server said yes . It is one of the best I've ever had. We were somewhat totally full !! Haha! Such a fun night here eating all this amazing Great food . I need to make sure I come back sooner than a few years! If your red curry fan definitely come here!

Our soups and appetizer were the absolute best thing we ate. Our entrees were okay. My husband got the beef bulgogi and it needed something. The beef was well cooked but didn't seem to have any salt, soy sauce, or anything like that. It was a 5 out of 10.

They have Malaysian food and a specialty menu for khmer food. Khmer food is not knowned much in the east but its beginning to be more learned about and popular. There food is rich in flavor and there cuisine is mostly known for there use of fresh herbs, coconut milk and aromatic spice paste;known as kroeung(lemon grass paste). I decided to try some entrees from the Khmer menu. I tryed the Malaysian Roti appetizer with side curry. It is so so delicous. The curry is tasty too but a little too sweet for my taste. Main entrees I tryed was the chicken kroeung (sour lemongrass soup) and the braised pork meat on bone cooked in soy sauce( Malaysian style but Khmer people have a similar dish). The chicken kroeung is soup for the soul, filled with alot of green veggies and best eaten with white rice. The braised pork meat is great too. Cooked just right and seasoned good. Its not sweet or salty. Usually I would try braised meat in soy at other restaurants either it would be way too sweet or salty but they made theres just right. Now the Southeastern asian cooking is not for everybody or those who have only tried chinese or japanese food. If you'd like to try something different but oh sooo delicous, khmer cusine is for you!! But when I ordered it the manager,Tony Tan, said the dish was actually 1/2 Roasted Duck! I went with the duck(which includes steamed rice), and added Baby Bok Choy, a nicely stir-fried dish that goes very well as a side item with a great many Asian entrees! These items made up a very nice meal. The duck is chopped into chunks with bone in, and is plated with a nice amount of rich broth, with just a hint of sweetness. The chunked up approach for the duck does result in some small pieces of bone to be picked through, in some cases fairly carefully. The picking through the bones was definitely worth it. I'm looking forward to trying additional Cambodian dishes.

As expected given its origins, Xia's menu skews Vietnamese (pho, banh mi, fresh rolls, and lettuce wraps), but there are Chinese influences as well. That menu isn't terribly large, but it does offer a good deal of versatility, including vegetarian options. My wife and I went with steamed dumplings followed by short ribs and garlic green beans with beef and rice. The flavors were excellent across the board. The green beans were sharply garlicky without overwhelming the palate while the ribs offered lemongrass notes and a hint of sweetness. The dumplings will make it hard to go back to the frozen version any time soon. Service was friendly and generally attentive. Our group of four ended up receiving dishes at different times, a possible product of the "small plates" concept blurring the distinction between courses. Speaking of which, expect small portions, especially for the near-entree prices paid. Nothing was outrageous, but a "come hungry and fill up" joint this is not. If you can look past that limitation, Xia's Asian Tapas offers tasty food in an attractive location. Provided you aren't famished, it's worth checking out.

We were one of about 7 to 8 tables present in a restaurant, with only one server working. Even then, we were promptly serviced, and didn't have to wait a long time at all for our food Altogether, we ended up ordering one order of shrimp egg rolls, one order of veggie egg rolls, one order of shrimp summer rolls, two beef and meatball pho, one combination pho, and one chicken pho. Everything was brought out piping hot, and of course, the pho herbs, condiments, and veggies were super fresh and served in abundance The eggrolls all came out hot and fresh. The wrappers were perfectly crispy on the outside, and the filling was fresh on the inside. I did not taste the summer rolls, but everyone said they were excellent. I personally had the combination pho and wish it had a little bit more meat. I would say the amount was less than at other Vietnamese restaurants, but overall it was still really delicious and filling. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth was perfectly seasoned. The total for the table was only $75, which I felt was reasonable for four people and the amount of food we received. Overall, a solid Vietnamese restaurant in Winston. I look forward to returning in the future.

I really wish Winston Salem had a great Banh Mi available. There are some good Pho restaurants but…read morethey don't serve Banh Mi usually and when they do it's not quite the authentic version I'm looking for. I had the Banh Mi at What Da Pho in the past and remember it was good so that's what I ordered this time. Additionally we ordered crab wontons and summer rolls. The restaurant is a little hidden but if you park in the parking structure adjacent to the restaurant it's super easy to get inside. First impressions are it's quiet- no music in the dining room, and the decor is sort of an afterthought with scotch tape holding LED lights to the walls and some Asian inspired pictures but not very well thought out. It's Ok, I'm not coming for the decor. The service is a little lacking. They are giving the bare minimum here so don't expect your server to be too friendly. The crab wontons and summer rolls arrived quickly. The crab wontons were super hot and crispy right from the deep fryer. They were filled with a delicious imitation crab and cream cheese mixture and when dipped in the sweet chili sauce they were exactly the thing I was craving. The summer rolls were equally as fresh and delicious. The filling of cold rice noodles, crisp lettuce and shrimp then dipped in the accompanying peanut sauce was just as delicious. We ordered one pork and one beef Banh Mi. The first thing I noticed was how plentiful the meat was in each one. Usually it's a light sandwich but these were very hefty in comparison to others I've had. My meat was very savory and had a very tender texture, almost like pot roast. It was also the juiciest pork I've ever had in a Banh mi. The picked vegetables were also really good but both our sandwiches were missing the jalapeno I've come to expect. My husband really enjoyed his beef one as well but we both noticed how the bread lacked that crusty flaky quality that Vietnamese baguettes normally have. This was more of a sub roll with a chewy texture and softer crust. The flavors were great, I just missed the textures I have come to expect in an authentic Banh mi. Our spot in Greensboro will still be my favorite but when I don't want to trek out that far, I can get my fix at What Da Pho.

It's small and there seem to be too many tables because they're all kind of squished together. But we were there around 3:30 on a Sunday and there were only a couple other people so it wasn't bad.

Since it was Valentine's Day and we knew many restaurants would be packed, we decided to give it a try, thinking a place like this might not be too busy. We were so wrong. It was overcrowded. Apparently, they were also offering a Valentine's Day buffet and hosting karaoke night on top of that. Because it was so crowded, tables were even set up in areas where people would normally walk through. We definitely didn't want the buffet but one of the staff members gave us a menu and told us they were also serving from their regular menu. We still considered leaving since the only available seating was at two small tables in the aisle but since we were already there, we decided to stay. It was very loud so we couldn't really ask the staff about the dishes. Not knowing what to order, we went with the combo plates. I got the Pork Sisig combo, and my husband ordered the Beef Tapa combo. The food was good overall. The flavors reminded us of a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine which was interesting. My sisig was a bit too salty, though. The only thing we weren't big fans of was the veggie rolls. We're still curious to try some of their other dishes so we'll probably give it another shot.

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted promptly and seated at our reservation time. They even had handbag clips to put on the edge of the table so we didn't have to put our purses on the floor - loved that! Everything we ordered tasted so good! We got the Rice Paper Tacos as appetizers. They came out looking like art on a plate and they were very gracious to tell us that there's not a wrong way to eat it. I got the Korean BBQ Beef as my entree and it hit the spot! My friend got the Modern Tuna Nicoise as her entree and it looked too pretty to eat, but she said it was delicious! For dessert we got the Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. It was the best way to end the night. We enjoyed our meals and the service was top-notch! Ambiance was nice-we sat in the outdoor area and they had a nice simple table display with a small table lamp that I was intrigued by. I'd never seen one so small but what I liked about it was that it didn't take up space on the table. Usually, the displays take up more space than the food sometimes, so I appreciate the little details. If you've never been to Betty on Burke-you must! I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely come back. PS- they validate parking so you don't have to pay the 3rd party parking system in their lot- HUGE plus!

We came here because it was rated highly on Yelp and near the old interstate we were driving on. Why not:)!? Korean barbecue bowl was good with some nice chilled cucumbers. Salty for my taste. Wedge salad was not really a wedge and our retweet for dressing on the side didn't work out. Also salty. Rice paper tacos looked good but were very hard to eat. Thank you Yelp for the recommendation. Not my favorite place ever but very solid.
