Great authentic food, it can get a little spicy so be careful. We enjoy takeout, but make sure to give time for them to prepare.

I gotta stop believing yelp reviews. People want quantity over quality on this app and this place…read moreis a great example of that. There's nothing redeeming about this place. Yelp reviewers have no taste. They just want a slab of meat and they're all happy. I should've tried their sauces before I bought anything. The barbecue sauces were all ketchup based. They added in too much apple cider vinegar and the sauces were too viscous and runny. A good barbecue sauce has molasses, brown sugar, and tomato sauce not ketchup and white sugar which is what these were made from. I'd have been better off bringing in my own bottle of barbecue sauce from the grocery store. We ordered a half rack 6 ribs and two sides of coleslaw and potato salad. The coleslaw was runny and too liquidy. It had zero buttermilk in it. It was also made with apple cider vinegar which is a HUGE NO, NO. The potato salad was meh. No mustard. Just white potato salad. THEY HAD NO CORNBREAD! How much does a box of jiffy cornbread cost?!? Seriously, this business should NOT be in the rib business. The half rack of ribs: DRY, DRY, DRY. They were baked way too long. The ribs were flavor-less. I would not go back again. It's a huge shame for a rib joint to be this bad. The ribs were such a huge disappointment. Not even a smoked flavor was ever detected. I hope they don't go down the liquid smoke route either because that's just driving off a cliff at that point. I'm DONE listening to yelp reviews. Yall have no clue what you're talking about.

Plenty of seating for small to medium groups! It's kinda fun that we can see the smokers at this counter service establishment. The staff was friendly and helpful at recommending the many menu options! Ordered up a 1/2 pound of brisket, smoked potato, and corn bread. Great portion sizes for these smokehouse staples! They have plenty of self-serve sauces to douse your plate. I thought their St. Paulie sauce was a perfect savory sauce without much heat. The potato came with an absolutely delicious smoky sour cream. Overall, wonderful BBQ for those craving some smoked meats! Can't wait to come back and try some of their other offerings!

The guy taking my order I don't know if he was the owner, but he was quiet. The true test for ribs, in my opinion, is getting them with the sauce on the side, and these ribs passed with flying colors. Rubbed to perfection, tender, flavorful, and smoky in all the right ways. Then I tried the Savannah Heat homemade sauce... the perfect cherry on top. I noticed they've won several competitions, and I can absolutely see why. Everything tasted award-worthy. I'll definitely be back!

For years, I have driven past this Cub Foods in Eagan. It's on Town Centre Drive, which is fast food lane that I frequent often. On Friday the 13th earlier this month, I decided to get some groceries, and then pick up lunch across the street from Arby's and KFC. I stocked up a bit, as there was a winter storm warning for late Saturday night. It ultimately turned into a blizzard warning. There was lots of parking in front of the grocery store. I backed into a spot. It was a bit windy. I walked into the store. I needed to get drinks. Cases of Coke products were across from the shopping carts. I grabbed a cart and looked at the Coke products. I got a case each of Diet Coke and Diet cherry Coke. The produce section looked cheerful. Everything looked fresh and healthy. It was a day before pie day. I liked that various fruit pies were going for $3.14 each. I hit the prepared food section. I got a tater tot hotdish, which is so Minnesotan. It's a beef casserole with tater tots and cheese on top. I had to get some. Seeing rainbow gelatin as a dessert is also Minnesotan. I didn't get any, but I did look at it and smile. I was pleased to see an Asian section. I saw everything from ramune to coffee candy. It was cool. I was mesmerized by the frozen dinners. I remember that they used to be called Swansons Hungry-Man TV dinners. It's simply Hungry-Man. I got the salisbury steak, as it's my favourite. I also got Marie Callender's garlic butter steak bites. It seemed up my alley. This store had a lot of Coke cherry vanilla float beverages. I got a couple of bottles of the zero-sugar version. I got the nicest woman at the checkout. She scanned all my items and helped bag my items. I had her scan my Cub barcode off my phone. I then paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I thanked her and rolled my groceries to my rental vehicle. I put the cart back and then went to fetch lunch. I managed to haul everything back to my hotel room. It was nice having a stocked mini fridge. The tater tot hotdish was delicious. I had it as a snack later on in the evening. I'd get it again. I had the other items when I hibernated in my room during the blizzard. The salisbury steaks were comforting. I loved the mushroom sauce with the steaks. It also came with a chocolate brownie that you scooped out halfway through the microwaving cooking process. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans that were perfect. The garlic steak bites were amazing. My room smelled like buttery garlic for a while... haha! The steak bites were tender and full of garlic butter flavour. It came with green beans, which I dipped into the garlic butter. Heck, I was looking for anything to dip into this garlic butter sauce. I should go to Cub more often. It had everything that I needed. I'll be back for more when I'm in the area again. (132)

I used to think of Trader Joe's as a more upper-middle class grocer, but not anymore. Everything (with the exception of meat and milk) is very affordable. That said, their shopping experience remains the same high-quality, enjoyable experience, with aisles of yummy options to browse, especially with the rotating seasonal options and new offerings. I've been here several times since moving to Eagan, and I've always encountered friendly employees. The checkout always moves quickly and efficiently. I also love grabbing some free stickers and coloring pages on my way out; it's like a little dopamine burst for my inner child! There are restrooms available to shoppers. They are gender-neutral, which is awesome for a trans guy like me. The bathroom walls are decorated with fun paintings much like the rest of the inside. They are also spacious and clean. Occasionally I have spotted a local food truck parked nearby, serving unique offerings. Once I got to snag some apple cider donuts that way, hehe. The only thing that's a negative about this place is that the parking lot (shared with the movie theatre) is smallish and has a weird layout, so navigating that can be quite challenging. Thankfully I usually walk! But even so, I have to watch out crossing because the cars aren't paying attention to pedestrians!

Sometimes I hate that I find unique snacks and end up liking/loving them, then they don't carry it anymore but that's not this particular locations fault. This store was very neat. Layout seemed backwards compared to the Bloomington location but it's not a huge store so it's easy to look down every aisle. I love that you can buy single cans of sparking water/drinks here. Staff were super friendly at the checkout.

It's not much in the way of hiking, as the longest path/loop is only a mile long and fully paved with asphalt, but it's got a lot of amenities that would make for an excellent visit during warmer months. This includes a kid's playground, an extensive fitness zone, a splash pad (with toilets and water fountain-- not operating during winter), a bandshell, and a sizable festival grounds. On the other end of the park (near Pilot Knob) there's a gazebo structure with more seasonal restrooms/water fountain, with a multitude of picnic tables, trash/recycling, and grills that would be excellent for outdoor get-togethers. There is parking at both this location and by the splash pad, as well as the massive lot attached to the community center. There's a couple small lakes and plenty of trees, so it's a nice little retreat (even if right across the street is a massive outdoor shopping center...).
