Came here around 5:45 on a Friday night & it was pretty busy! There are two different sections you can sit in, either the bar area or dining area, and we chose the bar. We were seated quickly at the last table available. We only ordered appetizers, but they were delicious. Would definitely come back! Service was a bit slow but that's to be expected on a busy Friday night.

We did the Thursday Birthday Steak special - definitely recommend. Steaks were cooked to our specifications, au gratin was a nice change of pace, hand cut fries were delicious. Salads were bigger and better than a usual dinner salad plus there was fresh bread! Minnesota chicken wasn't great would skip that, the walleye dinner- good batter GREAT piece of fish. Everything can use some salt & pepper but that's fine by me. The bar area is a huge barn area that's a lot of fun with above and beyond TV options. Our bartender was very attentive and food was timely. The bar wasn't very full but some of the locals were LOUD. Randomly singing and banging on the bar- there's a separate dining area I would recommend sitting in if you're here for dinner.

Ok I was hoping for more from this place. Inside was crazy at and definitely had the steakhouse feel. The bread they brought was really good. I had steak and au gratin potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the potatoes were like homemade mac and cheese just with potatoes. I will dream about them for sure. The house salad was basic but the blu cheese dressing was to die for. Thick with chunks of blu cheese. Husband had the pork chop with apples it was super good. And a backed potato. He did not get the salad he got their famous steak and vegetable soup and it's more like a stew and was fabulous. Lots of flavor. The only thing bad I have to say was the service was horrible. The waitress would just walk past our table but never check on us. I get it if she was nuts but there were 2 other couples in the restaurant. The never refilled our drinks.

This review is primarily about the bar area, but I have also been to the restaurant a number of times so I will add a bit about that as well. First of all, if you are looking for a fun place to watch a football game or enjoy Happy Hour this bar is really fantastic. Large space with bar seating, high tops, and booths on the bottom floor and additional seating upstairs too. Lots of TVs, great game and Happy Hour specials and quality drinks! This time we tried from their long list of Long Island Tea varieties and that was an excellent choice! The appetizer menu is varied and quite tasty! We shared the Half Sheet of Nachos with chicken (Excellent!) and ended up getting some Chicken Tenders as well a little later and those were really good too which nice sized tenders, just the right amount of breading and perfectly cooked chicken! I'm kind of hungry again for them just thinking about it....might be heading back again soon... The ambiance is loud but friendly, a nice group of people from the area come, and it was decorated so nice for the holidays with lots of lights. Quite festive! Parking is the biggest downside as there rarely seems to be enough and some rows are awkward to get in/out. When it's busy that is kind of a pain, but overall it works out. The restaurant is also very nice with a steakhouse vibe. Great beef soup, sandwiches and entrees. We haven't always been Wowed but never disappointed either. The service is very good, attentive and friendly. We've always been happy there as well. Great experience whether you are going for a Happy Hour, Game day or a nice dinner.

    Prime rib special

The atmosphere was very laid back and upbeat for a Saturday night. There was options for a quiet dinning room the bar seating area or patio. We decided to enjoy the patio and it was a great choice not too loud but not quiet. Beautiful area with a bar and bags many seating types and music over the speakers. I had the Saturday night prime rib special it was awesome. She had the Minnesota chicken and was I'd it was very good as well! Would have give five stars but it did take a bit to get our drinks ordered. I feel this had alot to do with a large class reunion party they had. With that said would fully recommend this place especially on nice evening to enjoy the patio.

Casper's is a fun bar that has many events such as Karaoke on Saturday! The place is very busy and service is a tad slow just because of how busy. The server is very attentive and remembered my name multiple times. The place is decorated with a lot of Christmas lights making it very Vibey! The chicken tenders came so fresh and hot and the "tall" beers are very big!! I'm impressed with the size! The ranch was good and the buffalo sauce was just ok in my opinion! Overall the bar/restaurant is a fun environment and I would recommend it!

Casper's is a fun local bar with great Long Island options (warning they are delicious, large and strong!) and bar food. The tray of nachos is large and great for sharing. The chicken tenders were perfect! Booths are on available and high tops in the middle. Bar seating is also available. There are several TVs. Some booths seem to have limited visibility for game watching. Our server was excellent! Parking is plentiful in a free lot.

It's close to the office, has a laid back vibe and the food has always been reliable. Our experience this evening was enough for us to say, "never again." Walking in - the first observation - mildew smell. I'm not sure if they're battling water in the restaurant or straight up, mold, but it wasn't pleasant. Secondly, our waitress... well, let's just say she had two MAJOR distractions. Her kids were spending the night with her at work! As 5-7 year olds typically are, they were antsy, running around and likely hungry. She was visibly frustrated at the situation and I genuinely felt bad for her, but this impacted our service in a BIG way! I will say, she filled our (relatively simple) orders accurately, but not timely. There's just better options. Oh! Unless you want to see butt cheeks, like full on buttocks (regardless of the time of day), I would avoid Racks on a professional dime.

At that point, I knew I was in for a treat. Any dining establishment packed at non-peak dining times must be a local favorite. I got the Thursday special: meatloaf with BBQ glaze, mashed potatoes, and char grilled corn. Meatloaf is one of my comfort foods, and this one really delivered. It was cooked perfectly; moist on the inside, a nice sear on the outside, and tangy BBQ sauce. The mashed potatoes and corn were pitch perfect too; I especially liked the char on the corn. The vibe is rustic casual, with ample large screen TVs for catching a sports game. Our server brought the wrong beer (light beer instead of Surly) , but made it right when we pointed it out. The acoustics were great; which is hard to find in populated places with a concrete floor. There is a parking lot. I'm already imagining a return visit next Thursday for more meatloaf!

Named for the state's status as the 32nd to join the Union, the establishment is built around a "Beer Wall"--a self-pour monument to local brewing that promises the drinker ultimate autonomy. It is a large, inviting space, designed for the expansive social ritual of a modern taproom.  The culinary offerings here are a pleasant surprise, rising significantly above the standard "hole-in-the-wall" bar fare. The menu feels intentional rather than an afterthought, providing a solid foundation for the liquid education happening at the taps. One cannot fault the quality of the sustenance or the hospitality of the staff, who remain remarkably friendly despite a recurring operational shadow: the house always seems to be exactly one person short. Each shift carries the palpable energy of a team perpetually running a man down, a testament to their grit but a strain on the overall rhythm of the room. However, the centerpiece of the experience--the self-serve technology--is where the friction lies. While the concept of filling one's own glass is liberating, the digital interface lacks a certain clairvoyance. There is nothing quite so deflating as committing to a pour only to have the keg go "bust" mid-stream, or finding that the tap you've selected is already dry. The system requires a more robust marriage of software and cellar management; the guest should not have to be the one to discover a vacancy in the line. "A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure." -- Czech Proverb Union 32 is a noble experiment in craft beer culture, providing a vast playground for the adventurous palate. But until the technology catches up with the inventory, and the roster is filled by that one missing player, it remains a work in progress--even if the beer itself is already a finished masterpiece.
