My coworker suggested this place & I was very excited to try it. Nepali Kitchen feels like a hole-in-wall place where your aunties are cooking for you. The decor is no nonsense but clean. We came here during lunch on a weekday & we were the only ones there so it worked well for a lunch mtg & conversation. We were given hot tea right away which felt welcoming on a cold fall day. I ordered the photo-pleasing thali which comes with an assortment of items but the momos were the star of the show. The service was attentive throughout our meal. The food is vegan friendly too. I wanted to try more items so ended up getting the goat curry & noodles to-go. Noodles were slightly too salty but still ate it all. Goat curry was good. My coworker is from northern India & said this good tastes authentic & reminds her of home. High praise! As someone who aspires to cook Nepali & Tibetan dishes but hasn't invested the time yet to learn, I'm so glad this place exists! This place may seem slightly on the more expensive side, but everything is shareable & multiple meals so worth it! I took my son here for a buffet lunch, but was told they haven't done that for a long while. He wanted Indian food so we thought that food inspired by Nepal, Bhutan, and India would be interesting. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrive at 1:30, and the server was friendly. We both ordered the goat curry with basmati rice. The curry sauce was plentiful and delicious, but the goat was tough and had many bones, ligaments, and tendons to chew around and door out. While some bones are coming in this dish, I've had goat curry at other restaurants and the meat was not tough. read more

The chai tea was very good on a cool day. The restaurant is pretty sparsely decorated, but very clean. Friendly staff. We went mid afternoon so ordered off the menu. The food was good and generous portions. read more

The veggie momos were my favorite. The flavors and dishes were unique. They brought out melted butter to put onto my white rice which was *chef's kiss*. They couldn't have been nicer either. I recommend going out of your way and supporting a restaurant serving unlike anything else around it. read more

We came here for dinner and really enjoyed it. It was table service during this time, not buffet, but I would still recommend it. We were offered a delicious complementary tea to start, which we all loved. The fried momo vegetable dumplings were amazing. I'm so happy to see this wonderful business opened in the space of the old troubled Stargate nightclub. If you ever saw the inside of that club, you would not even recognize it anymore. They have done such an awesome remodel with the space and have really given the community a great new destination for grocery shopping and wonderful Nepali food at the restaurant. They have a fantastic menu with amazing lamb, pork and chicken curries, biryani rice, and many other fantastic Nepalese dishes. Great vegan options too and an awesome lunch buffet special!
