10/20/2025 Was just looking for a quick bite while running errands in the area with a friend. We started with some crispy cracker type with sauces which went really my cup of tea but it was a nice touch while we waited for our food. We split everything with enough to take home for one nice portion size. The tandoori mixed grill was my favorite with the sauce they put on the table the shrimp and tandoori chicken. The kabob was a bit dry but nothing the sauce couldn't cover on a bed of veggies. The Lamb Nilgiri Korma was good as well had more bone then meat again loved the sauce over the rice. The garlic naan was fluffy and ohh so big I truly enjoyed to make sure I got every drop of sauce.

Awesome service/restaurant, and bathrooms are very clean. The food was excellent. If you live in this area stop in. They have a brunch eat in special.

An actual 2.5, but I dont have that option here. Average. I came specifically for lamb chops, and they were the closest place open at the time. It's in a shopping strip of the festival center/bel air with many other businesses, but at 4p on a Friday i easily found parking A family 4 were in the corner and i was the only other diner, 2-3 Uber eats/to-gos while I was there Basic 4 seater tables and in the back, a set up for buffet lunch, not a huge restaurant but sufficient Papadum (2 pieces of the "black pepper cracker) and the traditional 3 "spreads" came immediately along w water I started with vegetable pakora..slightly tough to cut-but I think it was a dull knife. They were pleasantly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside When ordering the lamb I was asked how spicy?, and due to (language barrier) when I thought I was asking for the spiciest (3 out of 3), after the fact I learned it was 3 of 10. So a bit disappointed in the heat. Fairly tender, 4 chops arrived atop a bed of sizzling onions, and alongside came about 2cups of basmati rice. Tender enough, they weren't "fall off the bone", but decent. Flavor "ok", but nothing to write home about. The Marsala sauce that came aside the chops was "ok", but imo didn't pair well with the seasoned lamb..used atop the rice, and sizzling onions I guess I wasn't as hungry as I thought...brought home 2chops, 3 pakora, and half the rice The chops were "market price" and the bill came to about $35 I'll return, but maybe not for the chops...I've had them elsewhere, nearby, and for market price, I need to be more impressed Note: hand sanitizers were strategically placed around, to use bs going to the restroom ?in the rear? The server was a young girl. She took my order and brought my food. Nothing spectacular; good nor bad.

TLDR: Amazing lunch buffet for the unbeatable price of $15 on weekends (cheaper during weekdays). Come for the fresh poori and goat curry. Vibe: 4/5. Tucked away in a shopping center, India Garden is a cozy restaurant. The dining room is comprised of a dozen or so 2 tops with some pushed together as 4 tops. On the occasions we dined, there were groups of 6 or more, so they are more then happy to accommodate larger groups. The buffet is located in the back of restaurant with all food served in closed chaffing dishes. The restaurant also has a bar area which looks to have a small selection of wine. Service: 5/5. Attentive and welcoming! Both times we visited, we were warmly greeted at door and seated immediately. Water cups and dirty plates were tended to quickly throughout the entire meal. Bonus points for what appeared to be the owner welcoming several customers by their first names as they stopped by for lunch. Always a good sign when restaurants have regulars. Food: 5/5. The last time I dined at an Indian food buffet was before the pandemic, so I had high hopes for my lunch experience. Indian Garden did not disappoint! From the freshness and quality of the food to the vast selection of both vegetarian and non vegetarian choices, the spread is fantastic. When we visited, there were 8 main courses, fried appetizers such as samosas and poori, side items such as birani and buttered naan, a soup and 2 desserts. Main course highlights included the goat curry, saag paneer and the tandoori chicken. However, best in show of the entire meal is the hot and fresh poori. These little warm dough puffs will have you noshing on them throughout the entire meal!

We found this gem and we will definitely be going back here soon! We went for the lunch buffet and you can tell the business gets a lot of repeat customers. The host up front greeted everyone kindly and everyone that came in got seated immediately. With the lunch rush, the servers kept up very well! The lunch buffet had a great selection and everything was delicious ! I love meat options but I am always open to vegetarian options and this place has a great balance of both! My favorite item off the menu was the poori and one of the curry dishes ( I can't recall the name ).

Located in the Festival shopping center, you can't beat their lunch buffet. The buffet always has Samosas & Pakoras as starters. Tandoori Chicken, various Curry/ Saags, Vindaloo & Tikka Massala are also rotated. Two types of rice: Basmati & Kashmiri. Quality & taste are consistent & the lunch buffet (all you care to eat) is a bargain at $13.95 vs ordering off the menu. They do have buffet takeaway where you can self serve using a takeaway container. Naan is excellent! Service has always been friendly. The spot for Indian food in Bel Air!

Papadam with several sauces is a delicious way to start your meal!!!

Excellent choice for Indian food!! My husband got the butter chicken with jasmine rice. We shared the paneer naan bread which was hot and delish! I got the chicken satay - so good with the fresh peanut sauce. Jasmine rice and homemade fresh hummus. Everything was so good! It's a very busy take out spot but we ate in on a Friday night and it was pretty quite with lots of free parking. Our Nepali waiter was awesome!

    Big veggie samosa!!

On the road and getting hungry. Went to a place that was closed and this was the next stop on the list to appease the veggies and vegans in the group. Not always hopeful of places in giant strip mall locations but this seemed legitimate. Clean place, attentive service. The food came quickly and was delicious. We all opted to get and try different things so we could share which is always an added bonus to eating in a proper Indian restaurant. I am very full and satisfied. The garlic basil naan was soft and slightly crunchy on the thin edges, perfect.

Truly some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The atmosphere of this place is beautiful. They mean it when they say fine dining. There are beautiful Indian paintings and architecture in the restaurants interior. The menu has a wide variety of options including a plethora of vegan and dairy free options. The customer service is phenomenal. The servers really care for the customers and serve you with a smile. The food is out of this world. Everyone that I ate with said it was the best Indian food that they have had so far. It was incredibly fresh and delicious.

Kabob n Karahi uses authentic spices, and what you get is like the difference between chef boyardee and actually going to Italy. This is a very local chain, and the restaurant honestly feels a bit like a high school cafeteria. It's probably not the place to go for a date night. :) This is why I have gotten take out 47191 times and eaten there once. The food is amazing, and going in does have the benefit that they'll often have specials not in the menu. I'm currently polishing off a lamb kabob, and I actually found a black cardamom pod in it. That's such a different flavour than you'll get most places (and despite the name, it's not cardomom). It's rich in sumac and just YUM. Stop in and grab dinner in the way home, for something flavourful, unique, authentic and just plain different.

The inside was really dingey and rundown (but don't let this bother you, you're there for the food!) and there was a laminated menu on the counter to look at... The couple that runs it was there and the guy was friendly and helpful. I was in the mood for karahi, but I was by myself and typically restaurants make this for two people, so he suggested I get chicken curry. It took about 10 mins to make. First thing I did was taste the broth (the curry sauce) and it was spot on - AMAZING!!! Then I ripped into the naan and took to ripping chicken of the bone and enjoying... I scarfed that dish down in no time, and there was quite a bit there! The basmati that came with it was very tasty! The kebab was nicely spiced ground meat and it was decent on its own but also nice with a spicy green sauce. The chicken tikka was solid. There were also some heavily spiced ground beef patties. Child #1 is vegetarian and got a Lahori Chana and a Palak Paneer. The Chana was pretty standard, nicely spiced chickpeas. The palak paneer was solid with a nice blend of warm spices, but I wouldn't call it spicy. We also tried out an order of Chicken Tikka Masala. It wasn't as bright or creamy as I've gotten at other Indian or Pakistani places. It was still tasty though. A variety of breads to mop it all up, and it was a solid meal.
