Her intention for the class stuck with me throughout the entire day - I feel that so often I attend a yoga class and the focus shifts entirely to just the physical aspect of yoga, and not enough to the meditative state, but this class was the perfect example of both. I also loved the for the warm vinyasa flow, the instructor guided us through some pose options that were not super typical, giving the class a great twist with new energy. If I lived closer I would definitely be returning!!

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. To say she was amazing is an understatement. She completely picked up on both of my dogs personalities, their likes and dislikes, sense of humor and how they see themselves. I have to say, I knew my dogs were funny before but now I know they are hilarious energetically too. Ginger also did a body scan on them both to make sure they were good and healthy. She was also able to connect to my pup who has crossed over the rainbow bridge, perfectly translating to me the relationships my dog had with my family when she was Earth-side.
