Staff have always been welcoming and helpful. I have also returned several times over the years with family and friends to participate in the Women on Target program. I cannot recommend this enough as a lowkey, helpful, and educational way to introduce newbies or for being able to brush up on skills and promote confidence with even seasoned owners. Instructors, classroom demo, range time and equipment have all been included in the program fees. Location has plenty of parking and is easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues. We're also grateful for their consistent support to the veteran community.

Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted by staff who directed us to a private room for our lesson. Ken was wonderful! He was friendly, thorough, patient, and encouraging. He answered all our questions, and he made us feel comfortable while also ensuring we understood the power of the guns we were handling. The range itself was great! I felt safe the entire time, and I believe they take appropriate safety precautions. We did not have to pay to rent the guns, but we did have to pay for ammunition. I believe this is standard, and it was not a big deal. I do plan to return!

They understand that most people attending the class have little or no experience and are very patient and instructive through the entire class. The Staff is very friendly and professional. The range is very well kept and safety is a top priority. I definitely felt entirely safe through the whole experience. Today 12/7/2024, we encountered a significant safety issue that we felt was not understood by the…read moreclubhouse staff. The 3D archery course follows a lollipop shaped loop through a wooded area. After completing the first few shooting sites on the "stick" of the lollipop, we walked up a small hill and notice that there was a hunter wearing safety orange sitting in a tree stand in the center of the circle of the lollipop. Becuase we were (a) not hunting and (b) on an archery course, we were not wearing safety orange. There was another group behind us and they were not wearing orange either. We called the clubhouse, were placed in hold, and then told that they were aware that there was a hunter on property and that he was leaving the 3D archery area. As he descended the tree stand, we noticed that the hunter was armed with a muzzloader. When we finished the course, we returned to the clubhouse to check out. We spoke with the people in the clubhouse to express our concern about having a hunter armed with a gun on an archery course. The initial response was "we called him and told him to move and he did". When we reiterated our concerns about a hunter with a gun on the archery course, we were told: "well, he's the owner, so (chuckle and shrug)'" This is incredibly irresponsible and the lack of concern of the OWNER of the property and his staff of having a gun hunter on an archery range is appalling. We will not be back.
