This shop came recommended by a different pawn shop owner who didn't have what I was looking for…read more?(don't worry friends! I'm not in the market for firearms- just fine jewels!) But they have those too if you're looking around this time of the political year I suppose. It was hopping inside! Stewart's has been around for around ten yrs (give or take what I can remember them telling me between the other pawn shop and theirs) and they were very respectful to all of their customers. I literally had NO IDEA what the word pawn even meant before going and just intended to barter/sell in order to get what I was looking for- and that I did! Even though they were very busy they gave each customer their full attention, as did the friendly security guard at the front of the store. They have their own lot to park as well. I haggled a bit and feel that I got what I wanted on the low-end of my price range and the medium end of my sell range (nothing overly spectacular) but fair. What more could you ask for really? They had a great deal of inventory to choose from as well and I found myself pretty happy with the selection- maybe a little bit more in white-gold items, but eh, it's what you make of it. I will keep them in mind for the future if I happen to find myself in need of the pawning services, but hopefully not. Oh! And they cash checks too. That was one reason they were so busy on a Friday. Overall, friendly, organized, free parking, fair pricing = 4 stars.

I was actually able to take a free tour here and learn about This place while on a parent Led 8th grade class graduation celebration for my oldest daughters class. Part of the celebration was to take a limo ride over to the NoCo area to take photos and selfies with the awesome public art scene. While walking around a worker From maker 13 stopped us and asked us if we wanted to come in and take a tour on This surprisingly chilly late April evening. The kids and parents all obliged and we really enjoyed the tour. The kids were very attentive and asked a lot of good questions about the program and got to witness some local artist perform their work and craft. The studio is basically a rent an office place for artists ranging from designers, computer techs, wood workers and other skills im not familiar with. They do offer summer program and things for youth to come in and work and have a space as well. While on the tour they did have some sodas and snacks for sell which all the hungry teenagers obliged in as well. Overall a very cool and unexpected trip and tour on the kids memorable and fun graduation day. I know for a fact that this tour was a highlight and memory for a lot of the parents and kids. So very cool of them to share their space and knowledge with all of us.

I made some concrete coasters from scratch while I sipped an espresso martini. The service is prompt, and the specialists are also really kind and knowledgeable. The crafts range from simple to complex, and every craft is very independent! Avoid if you're not into loud noises as the work space is a little small and others and their crafts will be making lots of noise! (Especially the hammer for the leather works!) I've never had a drink here I didn't love, but the espresso martini especially is one of my favorites in the city. Really mellow flavor and very foamy. The Craftery is perfect for bachelorette parties, birthdays, and date nights. Next time skip the fancy dinner and make some concrete coasters instead! Then grab some takeout and enjoy your craft!

The selection of art supplies was quite impressive and seemed to include most anything a person could need for art projects (colored pencils, paints, brushes, pens, markers, canvas, children's art kits, and so much more). The prices appeared to be fair and in line with box stores and chain craft supply stores. They offer an array of workshops and classes for all ages that include both one-day and weekly offerings.The class that we participated in was phenomenal. My nephews aau team Louisville makos does there winter indoor baseball practices here and my second oldest daughter recently started doing private tumbling lessons with a gentleman named Andre there. The facility itself was built at least in the last 15-20 years. I attended southern high school in the late 90s/early 2000s and we didn't have a nice facility like this around. So. I'm kinda low key jealous about that. This place had plenty of space, batting cages, some arcades, games and vending machines. Seems like a really cool and fun place for kids to learn and develop there skills. Was cool to learn they had a tumbling mat and a private instructor. The instructor here did great with my daughter and I could see Instant improvement before her first practice session ended. She is excited to come back and continue learning. Overall cool place. As I stated before I'm low key jealous they didn't have this place when I was growing up in the area or when I was a student at the high school.
