Mild curry chicken & vegetable rice

This place has great service , they have amazing food their curry chicken was so good & the rice was delicious as well as the Naan bread. Will definitely be coming back to eat in this time just in case I want to try more

100% Authentic and VERY delicious Indian cuisine! Indian Hut is the real deal...having been to several Indian restaurants in NYC and a few in Philly, the food here is up there with the best of them! Start out with the Vegetable Samosas and Tandoori Chicken as appetizers and then work your way to Chicken Tikki Masala, Palak Chicken (aka Chicken Saag - Curried Chicken with Creamed Spinach- seriously good!), Chicken Curry or one of their Specials! Do yourself a big favor and get everything Spicy (not Mild or Medium) for the best experience. All of the ingredients are fresh and the spices are incredible! Top it off with a Mango Lassi drink and you're all set! I just tried a few of the cake slices: Mango & Butterscotch - The owner said fresh buttercream is used and urged me to try a couple! Glad that I did...these cakes are melt in your mouth good!

Perfect food. Great options of eggless cakes. Definitely suggest hakka noodles so yummy and vadapao. Service is good too staff is friendly. Ambiance is okay I will say but food and services covers up.

Food was good. Tasty for a street food style. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Naan & Chef Special Chicken Briyani. Place could have been kept a little cleaner.

Mango eggless cake

For my son's fourth birthday, I bought an eggless cake with a mango flavor, and I have to admit that it was better than I had anticipated. The cake tasted amazing and looked stunning! Everyone adored it and it wasn't overly sweet.

Chicken masala was good. Proper curry. Authentic taste actually

I've been looking for a proper chaat house. I wanted and ordered samosa Chole chaat... ots essentially a samosa broken open with luscious garbanzo beans seasoned with good spices . Tamarind drizzled on top and some yogurt too. Sev puri sprinkled on top for tiny crunchy texture. It was a touch spicy... but more authentic than anything I've found in the area. I also got my precious jalebi sweet. It was sweet and delicate. I also got the chai which came from a machine( instant) ... well it was ok... but I really want freshly prepared proper chai. The balding guy behind the counter is wacky rude. It's his thing. He really should be more welcoming. I notice he's like that to everybody so I didn't take it too personally. I'll be back for some jalebi and watch a Bollywood movie with amitabh bachan!!

Indian Hut doesn't take order via phone. So it was crazy to go order pay and wait there for almost 30mins.Food was good and tasty.

The staff at this place is so RUDE and made my sister in law so upset. We will never be going back. During Covid we supported this business with a large order and they couldn't have been nastier. They also were not wearing masks properly. I can see why this place has so few stars. RUN from this place. Do NOT eat here! Diner beware. Owner was cursing at the customer before us and then said if you don't like it than don't come back here.

The good news is that this part of Street Road, Bensalem,PA, has a large Indian population and alot of commerce dedicated to meeting the needs of the community. The bad news is that Indian Hut is still the equivalent of a fast casual food outlet - better than fast food, but far short of haute subcontinental cuisine. So, unless your expectations are properly calibrated, you are probably going to be somewhat disappointed by the size of each entree, the roughness of the main ingredients, or the non-subtlety of the various sauces into which everything is thrown and mixed. Our Malai Kofta (veggie balls in mild red curry), Chicken Korma and Makhani (boneless chunky chicken in spicy red/lightly sweet mild yellow curry), Chili Gobhi (fried cauliflower florets in Manchurian red chili/tumeric heat) and Veggie Biryani (long grain basmati rice mixed with chopped greens, like fried rice, but not as captivating), were strong on spice, pretty in color, but perhaps too monotonal in texture and heavy handed Indian spices. Not that everything was bad, it wasn't. It's more that everything was too much alike, so that the dishes blended together indistinguishably from each other after a few bites. At $11-12 per choice, it wasn't too expensive, but would have been so much better with a deft curry hand at the controls. Then again, if you can taste the difference between fast casual and superior tasting North or South Indian kitchens, you don't really belong at such inferior joints.

Probably my favorite restaurant for Indian food. They have one of the best chicken lollipops and their dum biryani is so good and tasty.

If you read nothing else - ORDER THE GARLIC CHICKEN…read more Ok, now for everything else....we decided to try out this place, which felt incredibly taboo bc we LOVE our Indian Palace restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest person behind the counter. She led us to our table where we enjoyed reading through their expansive menu. We decided on some samosa's, lamb korma, chicken Tikka and the star of the show - GARLIC CHICKEN. I'm going to start with the Garlic Chicken because I have never had something like this before anywhere else and it is listed as an appetizer. If you love garlic as much as I do, please do yourself a favor and RUN here to get this. My husband, son and I FOUGHT over this plate because it was so delicious. We had to order a whole extra basket of naan to dip it in because it was SPECTACULAR. The rest of the plates were very tasty as too! The Korma was delicious and soft. And I haven't met a naan I didn't like. Really aside from the garlic chicken what made this experience great was the service. It was a young woman who noticed I was speaking Spanish to my son and also began speaking Spanish to us. She was incredibly thoughtful and kept checking in on us as well. Overall, we look forward to returning. On the weekend they run a buffet which I am super into to try more of their dishes.

The inside was clean and appealing, service was friendly and prompt. I ordered simple items for sake of time and familiarity. The veggie samosas I ordered were ok and tasted like the frozen type. They were not greasy and had minimal spice/flavor. I would pass on them next time. For my main lunch I had the .... 3. Chicken Tikka Masala lunch special - lentils, rice, plain naan and salad. It was a good lunch deal for around $12. The lentils were fresh, rice was aromatic and fresh, salad was simple and the chicken tikka was good. The chicken was fresh, masala lacked the spice I was hoping for, but was a decent portion size. I could have used more naan than the one piece that came with the meal. I boxed about half of it all for take home. During checkout, the staff was so nice and thankful for the visit. They gave me a parting gift of Kheer for dessert. Unfortunately it had an off flavor so I dumped it, but it was the thought that counted. I'd certainly return if in the area to try some of their other entrees. The menu is sizable with around a dozen non veg apps, two dozen veg apps, 8-12 variants of lamb, chicken and goat dishes, over 2 dozen vegetarian meals and almost a dozen different biryanis. Thanks guys!

My parents consider the dosas here the area's best, and I too was impressed by the well-fermented, perfectly crisp, and generously portioned crepes that arrive with tasty sambar and fresh chutneys. Rajni boasts unique dosa varieties such as a cilantro-forward Madurai dosa and a curry-leaf inflected chicken masala dosa. The items outside the dosa similarly impressed me and my wife during a recent meal. The chicken 555 comprised morsels of fried chicken tossed in an appetizingly creamy and spicy sauce, which made for an addictive bite. We enjoyed the variety of curries (including fish, goat, and chicken) and the flaky paratha that came in the non-vegetarian thali, which was very fairly priced at $20. Service here deserves a mention, as the staff are very accommodating and hard working. The restaurant ambiance is simple but tidy. Overall, Rajni fills a needed niche in the area and is well worth a visit for any Indian food fan to sample some less common South Indian dishes at reasonable prices.

Everything else on the menu is incredible too especially in their veg appetizer section. Gobi Manchurian and Pepper Baby Corn were awesome. Crowds can fill on the weekends but you'll never have a problem getting a table. The service can be a bit slow when the dining room is more packed but that's ok, the portions are so big you won't need a server for a long time. While the interior is nothing special, don't judge this masterpiece by its cover; let the food speak for itself!
